Alice Turner reached out and touched Lily Turner’s belly, which seemed to have grown a bit since a couple of days ago, "Lily! When is your due date? I feel like your belly is bigger."

As she spoke, she touched her sister’s protruding abdomen again.

"June 3rd." Lily lowered her head to look at her own belly, her face full of a maternal smile.

Alice looked down at Lily’s belly, a hint of regret flashing through her eyes, "I’m so looking forward to this little one’s arrival."

With such a handsome father and such a beautiful mother, this little one is bound to be lovely.

"Haha! I’m looking forward to it too." Lily’s smile widened, her whole being exuding joy and happiness.

"Have you decided on a name for the baby?" Alice shifted her gaze from Lily’s belly to her sister’s face.

Lily nodded, "Easton said if it’s a girl, she’ll be named Scarlett Holmes. If it’s a boy, Daniel Holmes."

After Easton learned that Lily’s previous name was Isabella Taylor, he couldn’t let go of the word ’Taylor’ when discussing the baby’s name with her. So, if it’s a girl, they’ll simply use Scarlett.

"Scarlett? Wasn’t that your childhood name?" Alice instantly identified the root of the name confusion and laughed after asking, "Easton really loves you, even the baby’s name revolves around you."

With her sister having a devoted brother-in-law to take care of her, Alice felt much more at ease.

Lily did not deny Easton’s love for her and smiled at her sister with generosity, "Yeah."

"Sis! How are things going with Thomas Fisher? When does he plan to introduce you to his parents?" She suddenly switched the topic to her sister and Thomas.

"We were talking about you, why are you bringing up my matters?" Hearing Lily’s question, a flash of sadness crossed Alice’s eyes so quickly that Lily didn’t notice.

Seeing this, Lily merely assumed she was being shy and moved closer to her, "Sis! Are you shy? That’s not like you. Come on, tell me how things are going between you two?"

She hooked her arm around her sister’s, shaking it to urge her sister to speak.

"There’s really nothing to say about us. Let’s keep talking about the little baby." Alice didn’t change her mind due to Lily’s urging and continued to avoid talking about her and Thomas, "I might not be able to see you when you have the baby, you know..."

"Why won’t you be able to see me when I have the baby? Where are you going?" Lily asked with confusion, and as confusion set in, she became tense. Her face tightened with the tension reflecting her mood.

Seeing this, Alice felt particularly uneasy, but outwardly she maintained a cheerful smile. She reached out to poke Lily’s cheek, "Why are you so nervous? I’m just being sent by the company to study in the United States for a year. I’m worried I won’t make it back in time for your baby’s birth."

"You scared me to death, I thought you were going to elope with Thomas." Since Alice masked her true feelings so well, Lily didn’t suspect she was lying and let out a long sigh of relief.
