Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap
Chapter 1312: Blind Date Alliance 10
Ryan Taylor knew exactly what Thomas Fisher was worried about deep down. It was the same concern he himself had, but he quickly buried it in the deepest corner of his heart.
What he needed to solve now was the issue of being pressured into blind dates. Once his family stopped bothering him, he could focus on his work, all the while patiently waiting for her return.
Evelyn Taylor had no idea that what troubled Ryan was this. In her view, she thought he was just worried about the parents on both sides, just as he had said on the surface.
"Thomas and I are not pushovers. As long as we act convincingly, we’ll be fine." She didn’t take the parents of both families seriously, believing that as long as they acted well, the parents wouldn’t find anything out. She was very confident in herself.
Because of the situation earlier, Ryan didn’t want to deal with his sister Evelyn anymore. He merely gave her a glance before diverting his attention to Thomas beside her, "Bro! Do you feel the same way?"
His sister was so naively silly, but surely his good brother wouldn’t be the same, right?
"I think we can give it a try." Thomas wasn’t as confident as Evelyn, knowing how shrewd his parents were, but he wasn’t dumb either, was he?
He couldn’t give up such a great opportunity just because it might not succeed. For his future peace and quiet, he decided to give it a try.
As soon as he said that, Evelyn immediately grinned, "I knew Thomas would side with me."
She beamed like a victor.
Ryan was a bit dumbfounded. He could imagine Evelyn being this silly, but he never expected Thomas would be the same. He thought his good brother had actually listened to what he’d just said. Seeing this situation now, he truly worried about his brother’s future.
He originally wanted to say something to persuade his good brother, but seeing how determined he was and his obstinate sister was right there, he felt it wasn’t the right moment.
"Where are you two planning to go later? Home? Or other plans?" Ryan changed the subject, not wanting to continue the previous conversation, nor did he wish to make the atmosphere tense.
Home?
Because of the constant pressure for blind dates, Thomas didn’t feel like going home. All he heard at home was his mother Autumn York’s nagging, and he was really scared of going back.
"Where are you and sis-in-law planning to go?" He thought of becoming a third wheel, since being one was much better than going home to hear his mother’s nagging.
"We’re going to watch a movie later." Ryan was straightforward and didn’t hide his and Lilith Spencer’s plans from Thomas.
Thomas glanced at Lilith, seeing that she didn’t seem interested in joining their conversation, he gave up on the idea of being a third wheel.
"I was thinking of being a third wheel, but since you’re going to the movies, I’ll skip that." His second brother had finally found a girlfriend he liked, and Thomas didn’t want to interfere, lest he upset the lady, which would be a big mistake.
"You’re too ugly to be a third wheel. Try again once you’re handsome. I don’t want others to know I have an ugly brother like you." Ryan said it in a disdainful tone, but his face showed no sign of disdain, nor did his tone carry any real dismissiveness.
