Rebirth: Beasts Bound
Chapter 49 - 0: DRUNK - DISASTROUS RAVEN [2]
"Huh?" I blinked in confusion and raised my head. There Bibi was, her hands on her hips and a smug look on her face. She looked so pretty. My eyes brightened and I staggered towards her.
"Such beautiful eyes," I said like some idiot that had been given a love potion. "I want them," I said shakily, and Bibi’s eyes widened in panic.
"Oh my Gawd, pervert!" she screamed and pushed me, and I landed on my butt. I stared up at her and pointed my fingers at her.
"You pushed me, I’ll make sure my beastmen bully you back," I whined and broke down into tears. I saw confusion flash in her eyes. Her dog beastman walked towards her.
"Should we leave her here?" he asked, staring at me with perplexed eyes.
"I really can’t believe she’s so childish when drunk," Bibi said, clearly in disbelief and slight excitement. Her eyes turned to face me, full of mischief, and she whispered something into his ear, but I was too focused on staring at the grass on the ground.
"It’s so green," I mumbled in shock and dug my fingers into the soil, yanking hard until the grass rested in my hands.
"Bibi, I got it!" I cheered happily like a child and reached to put it in my mouth, when her hands shot out and held mine.
"You’ll get sick," she said, and I pouted. "Is that what you want? You clearly don’t like me. Why are you stopping me from eating dirt?" I grumbled, but her eyes flashed with something that disappeared that instant, and she scoffed.
"Of course I want you dead, but not on my watch," she said and cleared my hands of the dirt. She tried to take my other hand, but I was fast and smeared the dirt on her cheeks. She gasped but didn’t say a word, and I held her cheeks with both hands.
"I’d love to have a nasty friend like you... your eyes are so sparkly," I mumbled, and she raised a brow.
"Gosh, I haven’t met someone this childish before," she snapped, but I just giggled and moved closer.
I didn’t realize when my cheeks landed on hers. "So soft," I gasped, feeling her face with mine, and I clearly saw the dumbfounded look on her face.
"Do you need a hand?" her beastman said, and she blinked her lashes, snapping back to reality.
"No! You can go back. Help the others clean up. I’ll take care of her," she said, and he nodded, walking off.
Just then the hologram appeared.
[Bibi’s affection level 5%]
Staring at it, I didn’t quite understand what it said and pointed drunkenly at the thin air. "What’s that?" I asked, and Bibi turned to stare at nothing, her brows furrowed. She smacked her lips in anger, but then—
"Mwah."
I smacked my lips against her cheeks. Her eyes glared with anger and she gritted her teeth, but I was beaming like a child.

I didn’t understand and immediately stood up from the ground. I began to run. Bibi’s eyes widened at my sudden action.
"If I lose her, her beastmen will—" she immediately took off on her heels, lifting the hem of her long gown and running after me.
"Get back here, you mad tyrant!" she screamed, but I bolted faster. "It’s refreshing, the wind!" I screamed, yet I could feel her close behind me.
"Damn you, Raven!" she screamed in anger, clearly out of breath. After running in circles and I was still energized, but Bibi leaned on a tree, gasping for air.
"Please, Raven, stop running," she called out, clearly worn down and about to lose it, but I stared at her blankly. "Raven?" I asked and gasped. "That’s not my name," I said and moved closer. "Should I tell you a secret?" I mumbled, and her eyes lit up.
"What secret?" she asked, and I moved closer. I gently placed my hands on her ear, my lips parted, and her eyes widened at what I said...
Just as I was about to finish the rest of the gossip, Liora’s hands grabbed me from behind. "She’s talking gibberish," she said, out of breath.
"What happened to you?" Bibi asked, and Liora bit down on her lips. "I was so scared. The moment I realized you both weren’t at the party, I thought I lost drunk Raven, and I thought you took her to punish her," she blurted out, and Bibi’s eyes darkened.
"I’m not that evil," she said, and I grunted in disapproval. Just then a butterfly passed, and I froze.
"I want it." Just like that, I was off. Bibi’s eyes widened in horror. "Not again!" she cried out. The next second, Liora and Bibi were chasing after me.
"Was she always this fast?" Bibi yelled, and Liora shook her head. "I shouldn’t have given her wine," she said...
"Weeeeeeeeeee!" I hopped, finally settling down by a river when two hands clamped over me.
"Tie her up," Bibi said, and Liora gasped. "I can’t do that to Raven!" she said, and Bibi laughed bitterly.
"I can’t chase after her again," she said, on the verge of tears. "So just tie her up!" she screamed, and Liora’s eyes softened.
"It’s okay, she’s like a cute cub now. Let’s handle her with care," Liora said, gently patting Bibi’s back, but a glare from her made Liora stop.
"Cub my foot. She’s doing this on purpose. I’ll kill her tomorrow," she spat angrily, but I innocently gazed at the two figures above me, not grasping their words, and soon... I was on Bibi’s back.
"I should carry her," Liora said, but Bibi scoffed. "You are weak. What if you faint carrying her around? You certainly want Raven to scorch me to death!" she grumbled in anger and disgust, but Liora only smiled.
"Thank you, Young Miss," she said, and Bibi rolled her eyes. "Don’t thank me," she said, and Liora laughed.
"You’re really kind. You must not know that, but you are," she said, and I did see Bibi’s cheeks flush red in shock and shyness, but she dismissed it away.
"Hmph," she grunted. She climbed up the stairs and dropped me to the ground a bit harshly. I glared at Bibi, and her lips twitched in disgust.
"Psycho," she cursed under her breath and walked off.
Liora smiled, staring at her, and turned to me. "We should really all be friends," she said, but I blinked my lashes, stood up from the ground, and reached for the doorknob.
"Goodnight," I said, and Liora stared in confusion and shock. "Were you not drunk?" she asked, but I had already slammed the door in her face without realizing.
I was just sleepy, but I froze in my step. Thyrian? What was he doing here? Standing and drenched in water.
"Wait! Standing?" I gasped and stared closer again. His large eyes bored into mine, but I took a step to the left.
"I must be seeing things," I mumbled and collapsed onto the bed...
