Reborn for Revenge: I Married A Billionaire
Chapter 64- Behind The Curtain
"What? He kissed you?"
Lina was so loud that Sienna thought her neighbors could easily hear her.
"Can you keep it down a bit?" She hissed at her friend without looking up and kept tracing the edge of the rug with her toe.
"Goodness, Sia," Lina got closer to look at her red face, "You’re blushing and aren’t even looking at me."
Sienna tucked a loose hair strand behind her ear. The way Hunter pulled her to him and then opened his mouth, trying to taste her...
Goodness. My panties are soaked just at the thought of it, and I don’t want to stain Lina’s sofa with my juices.
When Lina didn’t get a reaction, she threw her hands in the air and got to her feet, "This was supposed to be a contract marriage... and you showed him as if you’re allergic to men, and here you are... sitting in my living room with a tomato face," She had started pacing in the living room.
Sienna chewed her lower lip and hugged the pillow to her chest. After marrying Tom, she had started hating sex.
For her, it was just a chore to make him happy. The act never involved pleasure.
But today, the way Hunter pinned her against that door... the simple act made her want to jump on him like a whore who couldn’t keep her hands off her.
What was going on exactly?
She at last pulled the legs up under her, still avoiding Lina’s eyes. Lina narrowed her eyes, "You’re acting differently... like you are someone else... You aren’t Sia... where is my Sia?"
"Can you please shut up. It was just a moment. Okay? Just. A. Kiss. Nothing else," She tried to sound firm but failed miserably
"Just a kiss? A kiss doesn’t make you blush like that, bitch!" Lina leaned in, trying to catch her face, but Sienna turned away, pressing her cheek against the cushion.
"I’m not blushing..." Sienna shot back.
"Not blushing? Sienna Mason... your ears are red!" Lina poked her, "Did he touch you too? Like inappropriately?"
"Get lost!" Sienna threw a pillow at her.
"Was it long?" Lina whispered, inching closer, "Did he suck your... ouch!" Lina rubbed her shoulder where Sienna pinched her.
"What’re you? A wild cat?"
Sienna hid her face for a minute into the cushion and then at last straightened. Lina had gone quiet and was now staring at the wall, "So..." she started again, "When he kissed you... you just stood there... like a statue?"
Sienna closed her eyes and bit her lip.
How to stop Lina? Will it be a crime if I stuff a washcloth in her mouth?
Lina couldn’t stop the gasp, "YOU KISSED HIM BACK, SIA?"
Sienna clenched her teeth. What would Lina do if she told her that she hadn’t just kissed him back but also had run her hands over his perfect body, shamelessly?
And why did he take off his shirt?
"I just want to feel your hands on my skin, sugar."
"Uh-huh," Lina’s stern voice broke into her thoughts, "You’ve got that dreamy look on your face, Sienna Mason." 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Sienna got to her feet with a sigh, "Can we just drop it?" She stretched her arms above her head, "I’m about to get another contract, and this time I’m sure Tom will turn loose his mind... he he."
Lina clapped a few times, grinning like a fool, "OMG! Did you just change the topic?"
Sienna took a sigh of relief when the doorbell rang. She wanted Lina to leave her alone for a few minutes.
Lina made a face and glanced towards the door, "Who can be here at this hour?"
She started to get up when Sienna’s hand shot out and grabbed her wrist, "Hey. Wait!"
Lina looked down at her hand and gave her a questioning glance. Sienna let go of her wrist, "If it’s him, tell him I’m not here."
Lina’s brow shot up, "You think it’s him?"
Sienna held her friend’s gaze. Deep inside, something told her that it was him.
Lina shook her head, then muttered while walking away, "You’re insane, Sia."

"Umm, Hunter... Sia isn’t here..." Sienna heard Lina saying and then struggled to catch Hunter’s reply, but his voice was too low.
"Oh. I didn’t know. Did you two fight? She didn’t show up, but I’ll let you know if she does," Lina said again.
There was another brief silence, and then Sienna heard Hunter’s voice, "Yeah. Sure. I’ll wait for your call."
Sienna leaned back against the wall, her eyes closing slowly. She didn’t want to stay here. She wanted to run to him and see what he would do.
Will he hug her?
Will he just leave after saying hello, I’m sorry for crossing the line?
"Okay. See ya, Hunter," Lina closed the door after waving at him.
Sienna opened her eyes and then pushed herself against the wall as she walked to the window. She hesitated for a second before she pulled the curtain aside just enough to peek out.
Hunter stood beside the car, his one hand resting on the roof as he tilted his head back, staring at the sky.
"Why do I feel he’s missing you?" Lina murmured, standing behind Sienna.
They saw a slow breath leaving his lips. He pulled out his phone, typing something quickly as his brows were slightly drawn together.
When Sienna’s phone buzzed, Lina chuckled. After slipping his phone back into his pocket, he turned towards the car and reached for the door.
But then he went still. Sienna kept looking at him while holding her breath. Then slowly he turned around and lifted his gaze straight to her window.
Sienna gasped as her hand slipped from the curtain, making it fall back into place. Her heart slammed against her chest, but she didn’t move away.
"Holy cow!" Lina whispered behind her.
Sienna stood there, frozen behind the thin fabric, watching through it.
Outside Hunter’s lips curved into a knowing smirk. He shook his head in amusement before turning back.
Lina and Sienna saw him getting inside the car and drove away, still trying to understand what had just really happened.
