Chapter 63: 63- Robert Levisay

Hunter wasn’t used to such small bathrooms. The one he had at the Levisay International office was huge.

However, right now it was a blessing to have a cold shower, right after he tried to seduce his little firecracker.

His cock was so hard that even the ice water wasn’t able to bring it down. He had to do a hand job to relieve himself.

He didn’t know what was happening. What was going on?

The girl who offered him a contract was breaking all the barriers and was already sitting on the throne of his heart.

He never believed in love, relationships, or marriages. Never had to struggle to take someone on a date. Girls were always ready to drop their panties for him.

There had been rumors about him that he was the illegitimate son of Levisays, and they never accepted him as their own.

It was partially true until a few years back when he was invited by his ill father and handed over the Levisay International.

Everyone warned his father against it because the man knew nothing about business. He proved all of them wrong.

Levisay International used to be the fifth one among the top five competitors, and after he joined the company, it became number one within a span of six months and maintained its ranking.

He hardly showed his face to anyone, nor was he active in the media. Nobody knew what Levisay’s heir looked like except a very few people.

His father, Robert Levisay, might not have taken him into the family, but he never stepped away from his responsibilities. Hunter was given a top-notch education from childhood. He stayed in hostels but was never offered home-cooked warm meals.

When he met Sienna in that restaurant, he had a contract placed on the table. What he never expected was a contract marriage offer from a girl who looked like a weakling but had fierce determination in her green eyes.

He once went to a soccer match with his friend, and there he saw Sienna for the first time. The Mason heiress.

He could feel her eyes on him, but he didn’t have time for this bullshit. Ever since she walked into his life, she had been messing with his mind, his goals, and his heart.

She was sharp and witty, yet innocent. And a fast learner too.

For him, getting closer to a girl had only one purpose. Sex.

He was wrong.

It was different with Sienna Mason. Whenever she was around, he could feel something fluttering in his chest, yet he didn’t want to acknowledge it.

Do I have time for this bullshit? No!

Then why did I kill the man who laid a hand on her?

Because she is my wife... and my responsibility, and it’s my duty to keep her safe!

Safe? What a joke! Someone inside him scoffed.

He couldn’t think about it anymore and decided to leave, not knowing where to go or where his wife was.

However, when he came out of the bathroom, he didn’t expect to find the man he’d been thinking about for days, standing in Sienna’s office.

"Dad?"

The man turned around and, as he eyed Hunter from head to toe, a small smile crossed his lips, "You’ve been avoiding my calls, son."

The café wasn’t crowded. Hunter sat across from his father as he stared at the dark liquid in his cup.

His father was studying him as he stirred his coffee, "What’re you up to these days, son?"

Hunter silently took a sip, "Work. What else?"

Robert leaned back, "I know you’re managing our businesses well, Hunter. But why so much silence? I know you’re not interested in marrying Abigail, and I promise I won’t force you. Especially when I know you’re now a married man."

The cup froze midway to Hunter’s lips. For the first time, he, at last, looked up. Robert smirked as he watched his shocked face, "I know about your marriage, son. You might think I don’t care, but I do."

Hunter took a sip and placed his cup down, wondering where Sienna was at the moment. She must have left the office in haste.

"It’s nothing serious," Hunter stated, running a hand through his hair.

"Is that so?" Robert Levisay tilted his head a bit, "Then why didn’t you tell me?"

Hunter didn’t answer and kept sipping his coffee.

Robert smiled faintly, "Her name is unique. Sienna. Right?"

Hunter glared at his father, "You’ve done your homework, Dad."

Robert shrugged and then added, "George Mason’s daughter."

"Yeah. It’s just an arrangement."

Robert hummed like he didn’t quite believe that, "How’s she? As a person..."

Hunter raised his shoulder casually, trying to ignore how his heart missed a beat at her name, "She’s smart... annoyingly."

"And?"

"And nothing, Dad. That’s it. Already told you. It was just an arrangement to keep Abigail off my back."

Robert smiled into his coffee, "You’re a terrible liar, son."

Hunter didn’t remark and emptied his cup in one go. He didn’t want to discuss Sienna with anyone. Getting teased by Brian was one thing, but being questioned by his father was not what he wanted at this stage.

Robert chuckled and asked the waiter for another coffee, "Does she make you lose control?" He asked him with a wider smile, "You killed a man for her."

Hunter’s hands balled into fists as he tried his best to keep his temper in check.

"Does she know who you are? Like who you really are?"

Hunter clamped his lips, maybe a silent message that I’m not giving away anymore, dude.

Robert leaned slightly as he rested his elbows on the table, "You seem to care for her, son. It’s not a crime," He then placed a manila envelope before Hunter, "Your eye reports. I wanted to deliver this to you personally. I’m an old-fashioned man who doesn’t believe in emails."

"Thanks," Hunter mumbled, "Next time you want to meet me, just send a text, Dad."

"You’re worried that she might find out about you?" Robert asked him in concern, "If you see a future with her, then tell her everything, Hunter."

Hunter felt irritation bubbling up inside him as he clenched his jaw. He wanted Robert to stay away from his life... from Sienna.

He already did a favor by saving his father’s kingdom; now all he wanted in return was peace... and Sienna.

Now, why was he thinking about her again? Where was she? At Lina’s place? He needed to see her.

His father watched the expressions playing on his face and then hid the small smile behind the rim of his coffee cup.

Hunter Levisay was his son, and he wanted him to figure it out on his own.
