Chapter 867: Chapter 867: I Am Divine

A god, what was a god?

A god was many things.

A god could be many things.

But it could never be weak.

It was one of the hard-coded impossibilities in this universe and beyond.

A god could never, absolutely never be weak.

They were the perfect expression of power so concentrated at a single point where reality basically needed them to exist.

The existence of a god was not to be debated, not to be questioned, nor should it be challenged.

Because, the moment they became gods, whenever that may have been, that was when the universe knew just how important they were to its functionality.

Could one imagine what the universe would be like without Reincarnation?

Possibly not. A lot of things in the universe would just not work properly if there were no Reincarnation at all.

And Reincarnation would not be so important if not for the fact that a Divine Being was representing it.

That said, a divine being was standing in front of Jordan with a very calm expression. Even though there was curiosity within this old woman, it wasn’t shown.

It wasn’t the first time that someone had surprised her. The All-King was not the first. Yet, where were the others?

At the end, all of them withered, decayed, and died away. Their stories are forgotten by everyone except her who weathered through the eons.

And today, she met someone who was doing something she had never seen or heard of before.

It was also strange because some of the things the All-King had accomplished were because of her.

"All-King, I must say, you are very impressive when it comes to creating shocking scenarios..." The older woman said casually.

As soon as she said the last word, the whole world changed and Jordan found himself sitting on a vast meadow.

Jordan, with his eyes still glowing gold and the will of the All-King in his mind, looked around.

The meadow plains were very vast and they created a relaxing atmosphere. Cool breeze blew from the north and the purple flowers blooming on the ground swayed in the direction the wind blew.

It was...too relaxing.

"Greetings," Jordan said. His whole demeanor had changed. He didn’t appear so relaxed like he used to which was ironic since this new place was meant to make him relaxed.

The will of the All-King was entirely focused on conquest and achieving everything in that ideological line.

It did not have time to entertain the intrusive thoughts of King Jordan.

"Why did you come?" The old woman suddenly asked as she looked away bored.

Jordan raised an eyebrow, "You guys tore a hole in my Hive Heaven, of course I would come to meet you..." He said.

The old woman looked at Jordan again. She looked into his eyes, seemingly seeing through the meat mask to observe the will of All-King inside.

"Your Hive Heaven? Bold, very bold.

You seem not to know the kind of power that wants to shut you down. That’s good, if ignorance is bliss."

The old woman then relaxed her expression into a tired look. She leaned back, to the surprise of Jordan.

The woman did not fall though. Some vines rose out of the ground and formed under her body, forming a comfy hardwood chair.

"Ah, it’s been a couple of million years since I sat down.

It’s nice..." She said, talking to herself more than she was talking to Jordan.

"I wanted to ask some questions," Jordan said, becoming more serious.

Technically, if what he knew about this person was half true, then he had nothing to offer her but everything he had could still be taken by her if she tried hard enough.

The old woman shrugged her shoulders, "It wouldn’t hurt to answer them.

But, I have questions for you too," She said.

Jordan nodded his head, puffed out his chest, taking a deep breath as the All-King arranged his questions within.

One thing had been confirmed, this supposed God was not necessarily his enemy, but she was not his friend either.

That she was being so amicable in a weird way showed that she did not have any intention to harm the lions.

And if she did, she was horrifyingly good at hiding it. So good that Kael was sure he would never be able to beat such schemes.

Not unless he upgraded himself and his information source.

"What are you?" Jordan asked the first question.

This was a question that had to be cleared properly. Many called beings like her gods because in a sense, they possessed god-like powers and absolute control over a heaven without any system.

The chair she created just now to sit on was not from some special power but was a product of her supreme control over the entirety of Samsara Heaven.

No one told Kael this, it was just assumed and there were a lot of rumours around about what such a being could theoretically do.

Now, he would be able to hear it for himself because they allowed him to get close.

"I am Divine," the old woman said nonchalantly.

"Divine?" Jordan tilted his head, confused.

"The level I am at right now," She said, "It’s called the Divine Tier, or the Ninth Tier."

The way she talked, one would assume it was common knowledge but it wasn’t. Sure, many knew that it was the Ninth tier, but they didn’t know it was also called the Divine Tier.

The eight-tier was called the Immortal Tier and it was divided into four levels, was the Divine Tier similar?

"No, it’s not," The old lady said.

Jordan’s mind instantly shut all the windows and reinforced its spirit of defence.

She had read their surface thoughts so easily.

"The Divine Tier is quite...unique," The old woman continued, unbothered by whatever Jordan and the All-King were thinking of her.

"...Your strength as a Divine is almost always dependent on the foundation you set before reaching it.

Not that it matters, I doubt you’d ever reach this level."

The final sentence of the old woman was very harsh but she did not say it out of spite or hatred.

Jordan observed her face carefully. She had said those things very easily, because she was speaking from experience.

How many times had she explained these things to others who met her before now? How many times had she explained how she achieved her godhood?

She...

Reincarnation...

She was the last creature to have ascended to Divine Status.

"We shall wait and see," Jordan said, narrowing his eyes.

"Same words, same ending...

Anyways, my question.

How did you create that universe of yours?" The old woman finally asked her own question.

The question did not catch the All-King off guard. He had been expecting it and Jordan had been hoping it would be asked.

Kael never spoke of how the baby universe had been miraculously forged.

"I used the other laws as a hammer to shape my Law into its own domain," Jordan said.

But the explanation was vague. Alas, it wasn’t intentional, Kael did not have the right words in his vocabulary to describe the complexity of creating a universe from scratch.

He had done it because he knew his law, he was his law. Making another universe with another Law as the Alpha Law was not the same.

Fortunately, the old lady seemed to understand what he said and nodded, "I see makes sense.

No wonder I failed..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"You want to create your own universe?" Jordan asked, infinitely more curious about this woman.

She shrugged, "I’ve already tried before.

All-King, do you think you are the first person to try to create a universe? No.

You’re just the first to succeed.

You’re the first to have a chance.

And it scares them all. They would probably kill you if they can’t control your power," The old lady said.

Jordan frowned, "Who are they?" He leaned his large head forward and looked down at her with a mild sense of urgency.

"..."

The old lady did not answer. She was lost in thought for some reason and it made Jordan wonder just how complex an issue had to be for her to be lost in thought over it.

"Uhm...Ma’am..." Jordan said.

"Reincarnation..." The old lady snapped out of her thoughts and said, "You can call me Reincarnation," She said.

"Really?" Jordan’s golden eyes scanned the woman, absorbing new knowledge and keeping it for later.

"I am my Law, and my Law is Reincarnation.

I am Divine.

I am Reincarnation.

Every other label, name, and image I had before my ascension matters no more."

"I see," Jordan nodded, "I am Kael, that’s my first name. But you already know that don’t you?"

The All-King spoke through the mouth of the demonic lion king.

"I know enough," Reincarnation said calmly with a knowing smile creeping the corners of her old lips.

"I have achieved Singularity, does that mean I can call myself Conquering...or Conquest?" Jordan asked.

To this question, Reincarnation smiled fully, as if she was watching a prophecy come to pass right before her eyes.

"If you do that, you’d bring a whole new meaning to that phrase you all chant.

What is it again?

For The Conquering...?"
