Reincarnation Tribulation - All I Want Is A Peaceful Isekai Life
Chapter 378 - Vampire Attack(Part 4)
Point-of-View: Lavinia
———————————————————————————
"N-no, get away f-from me, stay back!" Exclaimed a human male, as I cornered him against a wall and pressed my body against his.
"Hm, how strange, this usually works. In my experience, human males find my body irresistible, particularly my breasts...maybe your fear is too great to feel any arousal? That’s too bad, your Mana capacity is quite low, which means the quality of your blood is paltry, the only way to improve it is through arousal, but you’re too afraid for that. What a shame, guess I’ll just kill you," I sighed, before stepping back and firing a needle of blood into his right shoulder.
He winced slightly as it pierced through his skin and tunneled into his body, a thin trail of blood trickling down his skin.
A look of surprise appeared on his face as he glanced at his shoulder, his expression confused...just give it a moment, any second now...ah, there we go.
"Wh-what is...this...!?" He gasped in agony as violent spasms erupted across his body, his skin turning red as drops of blood oozed out of every single pore, sweat gland and orifice in his body.
"It’s my Unique Ability, Poison Blood. I don’t think I need to explain it, it’s pretty self-explanatory...I will say this though; it is highly fatal, and excruciatingly painful...but I suppose I didn’t need to mention the latter, seeing as how you’re experiencing it as I speak," I replied with a smile, as his expression twisted in agony
He then collapsed onto the ground as he let out another gasp, blood streaming out of his eyes, as well as his ears, nostrils and mouth.
A rapidly growing puddle of blood began to form around him on the ground as he began convulsing, his eyes rolling back as bloody foam welled up in his mouth and spilled out.
It wasn’t long before he succumbed and died, his body continued to spasm and convulse as he bled out profusely, before finally slumping against the dirt and going limp.
"How unfortunate for you...if only you had been able to get an erection, you might not have died," I remarked, before turning around and walking away, stretching my arms up with a sigh.
I stepped over a long trail of corpses that I’d left in my wake before cornering that human male, looking around...hm, there doesn’t seem to be any more humans in this area.
I can sense than a number of the Vampires under my command have been killed, I’ll have to replace them after I’m done destroying this nation.
How annoying...unlike the other Elder Vampires, it’s a real pain for me to create Vampires. For the others, all they need to do is inject their blood into a human, simple as that.
Of course, humans with high Mana capacity and strong willpower are capable of resisting the change, and if they successfully do so, they’ll be immune to being turned into a Vampire thereafter, and also get a boost to their physical capabilities.
That’s why we target humans with lower Mana capacity to turn into Vampires...but at the same time, it can’t be too low, or the result will be a Vampire that isn’t all that strong. Finding that middle ground can be pretty tricky. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
And it’s even trickier for me, thanks to my Poison Blood...I can control the potency of the toxicity level of my blood, but even at its lowest potency, it’s still fatal to humans, it just takes a bit longer to kill them.
It becomes a gamble, will the Vampirification process finish first, or will they succumb to my poison first? More often than not, it’s the latter, I could end up wasting a good two to three hundred humans just to create my upper limit of fifty Vampires.
Therefore, it takes a lot more time and effort for me to create Vampires than it does for the others.
Also, each of us Elder Vampires have the ability to sense when a Vampire we’ve created has been killed. And I can sense that about twenty of mine have been killed...the average Vampire is about as strong as the strongest humans are, so if a group of relatively weaker humans team up against a single Vampire, they can win.
Even though Vampires are more powerful than Lesser Vampires, the fact that we can create such a limited number of the former, makes the latter a lot more useful since there’s no limit to how many of them can be created...but we ourselves can’t create Lesser Vampires, only Vampires can, so we can’t stop creating Vampires because that would put a halt to our production of Lessers.
We did instruct the Vampires to create as many Lessers as they can, but at the rate at which they’re being wiped out, assuming the Vampires under the others’ control are being eliminated in the same way that my ones are, it seems like our forces are going to take quite a hit in this battle.
Well, that’s fine, our forces are easily replaceable, so it’s not too big a problem so long as we emerge victorious at the end of this-...
"Elemental Wind: Ultra Wind Spear!"
"Elemental Plasma: Ultra Plasma Blast!"
My gaze swiftly darted across as a pair of powerful Spells came shooting in towards from either side, starting to spread out my wings before stiffening as the ground around my feet rapidly rose up and wrapped around my legs, holding me in place.
I quickly spread out my arms and burst out large masses of blood, forming shields on either side of me, right as the Spells closed in and collided against my blood shields with immense force.
D-damn it, my...my shields aren’t going to hold!
As the Spells burst through my shields, I quickly tilted my upper body back as fast as I could, gritting my teeth in pain as the blast of plasma collided against my right side and severely scorched my skin, while the spear of wind tore across the front of my stomach, inflicting a deep, jagged gash across that spot as blood gushed out.
I then whipped my claws across at my knees, slicing through and severing them, before quickly zipping up into the air as I focused on my regeneration, my injuries closing up as my legs rapidly grew back.
"Hm? A Light Elf and a Dark Elf, huh? No, those forms...you’ve ascended to Luminous Elf and Shadow Elf, I see," I remarked, as I got a look at the pair who’d fired out the Spells at me.
Wait, then who ensnared my legs? There must be a third-...oh.
I turned my gaze up as a large shadow fell over me, my eyes widening in alarm as I spotted a massive boulder plummeting down towards me rapidly, before noticing a small figure hovering in the air above it...a Fairy, the most advanced Spellcasters in the world!
Shit...I’m not going to be able to evade this in time!
