Return of the Mythic Bloodline
Chapter 455: Avatar Login
Once the ship set sail, I moved out of the control room and made my way to the entrance of the bedroom Nymeria and Ume had selected.
"I wonder if they will agree," I murmured, taking a deep breath as I opened the door.
"Hello, ladie—"
My words died in my mouth as my eyes fell on their figures.
Nymeria wore light blue shorts while her upper body was bare, her arms in the process of pulling on a shirt. Her perfectly shaped bosoms with faint pink tips were exposed to the cold air of the room.
On the other side, Ume was bent forward with her back facing me, her light pink shorts having only reached her knees, revealing her voluptuous rear.
"Knock before you come in, jerk!" Ume shouted as a shoe smacked me right in the face.
I instantly spun on my heel, rushed out, and closed the door behind me.
"That was so damn hot!" I gasped, my heart throbbing in my chest. "On second thought, why did I leave the room? We are together now."
Although we had been living and traveling together for the past half a year, we had not shared many intimate moments with each other because of Vyaghra and Jambavan.
"I should be bolder or our relationship might remain stagnant," I decided inwardly before opening the door again.
Nymeria and Ume had already dressed by then.
"Did you enjoy it?" Nymeria asked, her arms crossed and eyes narrowed at me.
They were sitting at the far end of the room. Ume’s face was red with embarrassment while Nymeria carried an unreadable expression.
"Enjoy? It’s not as if I have seen you two naked for the first time," I scoffed, acting as if I were completely unaffected.
"So you are saying that our bodies no longer arouse you," Nymeria said, her voice turning cold.
"N-no, that’s not what I meant," I blurted, my composed demeanor faltering.
"So you were aroused?"
"..."
I decided to exercise my right to remain silent.
"In that case, tell me what aroused you more," she said, the corner of her lips curving upward.
"Wh-what do you mean?" I asked, clearly flustered.
"Do I need to be so direct?" She sighed before putting it plainly.
"What was more erotic, my bust or Sister Ume’s butts?"
"S-Sister Nym!" Ume exclaimed, her cheeks flushing a deep rose. "Y-you cannot say such inappropriate th-things."
"It is alright, Sister Ume. He is our man. We can speak freely when we are alone," Nymeria countered before asking in a teasing tone. "Besides, do you not wish to know his preferences?"
"Hey, do not put ideas into my innocent Ume’s head!" I snapped.
I was a little too late. Ume was already looking at me with eyes brimming with curiosity.
"Taranis, answer her question," Ume murmured softly.
"Hehe, that’s more like it, Sister Ume," Nymeria chuckled with a smirk.
’So that’s how you two want to play. No matter what I choose, it is certain death for me,’ I muttered inwardly. ’In that case...’
Taking a deep breath, I regained my composure and said, "I cannot say for certain. It was too fast for me to see anything clearly. Show them to me again so I can have a proper look."
"Do not talk nonsense. You just said that you have already seen us both nake—"
"It has been a long time," I answered with a shrug, cutting Nymeria off mid-sentence. "I must see them side by side if you want a proper answer from me." 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
"Just forget it."
"Alright, I will show you."
Both Ume and Nymeria spoke at the same time.
"Sister Ume, you cannot back down now," Nymeria said, turning to her.
"I-I am fine with showing him anything else," Ume mumbled. "B-but not my rear. It is too undignified and embarrassing."
’She is still self-conscious about that,’ I released a quiet sigh. ’Well, at least I am spared for now.’
Before Nymeria could persuade her, which I was quite certain she would eventually manage, I spoke up to draw their attention.
"Ladies, I wanted to ask something of you."
Once I had their attention, I continued, "I wanted to tell you the real reason I did not agree to marry you two."
"Was it not because of the threat to our bloodline from an unknown enemy?" Nymeria asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, that is part of the reason. But we could still have held our marriage ceremony and left the Hundred Sky Mountains afterward," I said as I settled between the two, resting my hands on both of their arms.
I had been using arms materialized from crimson lightning, concealing them beneath full-sleeved shirts and gloves. It was a bit draining to maintain them at all times, but it was worth it given the trouble I faced without them. I could even sustain them in my sleep now.
"The primary reason was that I wanted to introduce you two to Maa and Aryan," I revealed, pulling them closer.
"Your family from the other world?" Nymeria asked, a hint of curiosity in her voice.
During our journey, I had told her everything about my life on Earth and how I had been teleported to Vyoman. It sounded like something that only happened in made-up stories, yet Nymeria believed it because I was the one who told her.
"Yes," I nodded. "Maa treated me like her own son and Aryan spoiled me like a younger brother. I cannot simply marry without at least informing them, let alone introducing you two to them."
"But how can we meet them?" Ume asked, puzzled. "We are not powerful enough for interdimensional travel yet."
"Don’t worry about it," I replied, ruffling her hair. "I have it all figured out."
I had been thinking about this for a long time and had even used the second slot of the Truth-Teller for it. The answer I received was as follows:
"Give the God’s Ring of Engagement to your lovers, activate the Skill-Share, and grant them Avatar Login."
"One slot has been consumed. To free the slot, travel to Earth with Nymeria and Gumiho."
I had been a little skeptical at first since, unlike me, Ume and Nymeria did not have clones on Earth to which they could transfer their consciousness. But since it was the answer given by Truth-Teller, I intended to see it through.
"You two are still wearing the engagement rings I gave you, correct?" I asked, my eyes drifting to their hands.
"Of course," they answered in unison, flaunting their ring fingers. Two identical rings bearing golden gems with lightning flickering inside them rested there.
Ume wore one additional ring on the finger of her other hand, the one I had given her in the mines of Forlorn City.
Just like Ume’s Ring of Engagement, the rings I had forged with my Divine Soulforce carried several skills, one of them being Skill-Share.
This ability allowed me to share any one of my skills with them for a single use.
The method to activate the skill was a little unusual, but I did not mind it in the least.
"Well then, prepare yourselves to travel to a new world," I said, cradling the back of Nymeria’s head in my hand.
I drew her face closer and pressed my lips to hers. She was momentarily caught off guard by the sudden kiss, but rather than pulling away, she returned it with equal warmth.
After kissing her for a few seconds, I turned to Ume, my lips still wet from the saliva of both me and Nymeria.
"Come here," I whispered before meeting the heart-shaped lips of Ume.
As I kissed her, the rings they wore began glowing with a golden hue.
Ding...
"You have activated Skill-Share. Which skill would you like to share?"
’Avatar Login,’ I murmured inwardly while holding Ume close.
"The skill Avatar Login has been shared with the Host’s lovers."
"Taranis, have some decency," Ume muttered, her face red, her eyes darting between me and Nymeria in embarrassment. "How is kissing us supposed to make us travel to another wor—"
Her words cut off as she sensed something shift within herself.
"So you noticed," I chuckled, patting her head. Resting my other hand on Nymeria’s head, I said, "Activate the skill I just shared with you."
They nodded, closed their eyes, and activated it.
Ding...
"Nymeria has activated the shared skill: Avatar Login."
"Ume has activated the shared skill: Avatar Login."
"Error: Nymeria does not have an Avatar to transfer her consciousness to."
"Error: Gumiho does not have an Avatar to transfer her consciousness to."
"Creating a clone from Gumiho’s body for transfer to Earth..."
"Creating a clone from Nymeria’s body for transfer to Earth..."
"Warning: Splitting the body will reduce their strength by half. Merging of the bodies is required to restore the lost strength."
"Taranis, I feel as though my body is being pulled apart," Ume muttered, her brow furrowing.
"I feel it too," Nymeria added.
"Does it hurt? If so, cancel the skill immediately," I said in a firm tone.
"No, it just feels a little strange. Almost ticklish," Ume answered.
After a few seconds, both of them fell backward onto the bed.
"Nymeria? Ume?" I called, but neither responded. They lay as still as though in a comatose state.
It took me less than a second to understand what had happened. A smile spread across my face as I gave the command.
"Vivi, activate Avatar Login."
"Initializing host’s request..."
"Establishing connection with body on Earth..."
After a few seconds.
Ding...
"Connection stabilized!"
"Beginning transfer of host’s consciousness..."
