Return of the Mythic Bloodline
Chapter 456: The world from Prophecy
"Beginning transfer of host’s consciousness..."
The loud crash of waves from outside gradually faded, and the light emitted by the Soul Stones in the room blurred into numerous hexagonal shapes. I could no longer feel the cold air against my skin. I felt my soul drifting farther and farther away from my body before it was suddenly pulled back with a sharp jolt.
I slowly opened my eyes, finding myself in a room with white walls.
"It feels nostalgic," I muttered, pushing myself up from the bed. I was in the hospital room, the same one where I had left this body.

"My stats are barely one-third of what they were in my body in Vyoman, not to mention I cannot use any Divine Skills or Beast God’s blessings," I muttered, giving the screen a disappointed look. The other thing I noticed was the two separate sections of age. The former represented the age of this body, which was greater than my mental age because of the five years I spent in a comatose state. The mental age reflected the actual number of years I had lived.
From the bedside table, I grabbed my phone and checked the time. It was 18:32, 21st December.
"I went to Vyoman around 10 p.m. on the 20th. It has been about twenty hours here, while I spent ten months in Vyoman," I gasped, my voice carrying a hint of shock. I had read about the effects of Avatar Login, but it was still surprising to witness the time difference firsthand.
"It’s nice to have real arms," I chuckled, clenching my fists and admiring them as if they were some precious treasure.
My height was a few inches shorter. Forget the terrible scars, I did not even have a single scratch on me. Moreover, my skin no longer glowed with divine elegance. This body had lived an ideally peaceful life, a complete contrast to my battle-worn body in Vyoman.
While I was still examining my body, the door to the room slid open.
"So you finally decided to wake up," a heavy, familiar voice reached my ears.
"You look the same as I saw you last time," I gasped, my lips slightly parting. "Still the same old."
"We only met two days ago, you little shit," Aryan muttered, his eyebrows furrowed. "And what do you mean by the same old? Look at these muscles. I look even younger than you."
He flexed his biceps, pushing them closer to my face.
Ignoring his antics, I moved his arm away before it could touch my lips and asked,
"Where are Maa and Sister Aisha? And where is my Inayat?"
"You think they could stay here peacefully after the shock you gave the whole world?" Aryan muttered with a tired sigh. "I decided to let them stay in America until the situation here calms down."
’Oh right, that Black Gate video caused a huge stir on the internet,’ I sighed, recalling the incident I caused before leaving.
"A pity. I wish to see them."
"What’s with your accent? Did you get hit on the head as well?" Aryan asked, his eyebrows knitting together in concern.
"When can I leave the hospital?" I asked, ignoring his question.
"Since you are healthy enough to walk around, you can leave anytime you want. Oh, and one more thing..." he said, moving toward the door. "You have a press conference in three days. Make sure you are prepared."
He closed the door without waiting for my response. From the restlessness in his eyes, I could tell he must have stayed up all night trying to control the paparazzi and media.
Once he left, I opened my inventory space and took out a ring made of umber vines interlocked with a glowing crimson gem at the center.
"Now I can finally wear it," I murmured, sliding the ring onto my finger.
"Gumiho’s Ring of Engagement

I assumed that Ume and Nymeria might not teleport to me when they reached Earth. It was a good thing I kept Ume’s ring in inventory, or I would have had to search the entire world for them.
"Vivi, activate Heart’s Summon."
"Activating Heart’s Summon..."
Ding...
"The Goddess has accepted the Host’s request!"
The red gem on the ring began glowing brightly. From within it, several plum blossom petals emerged and spiraled around me, engulfing my entire body. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
When the petals vanished, I found myself standing at the top of a hill from where I could see an advanced city below. Towering buildings reached toward the sky, and broad multi-lane highways carried high-speed cars. The taller buildings were painted gold by the evening rays of the setting sun, while the lower ones shimmered with lights glowing like stars through their glass windows.
"Hehe, that’s quite a spot you selected, Um—"
My words stopped as I saw Ume on her knees, clutching her chest.
Her expression were dark, and her breathing unnaturally rapid. Sweat dampened her pink hair, causing strands to cling to her face.
"Ume, what’s happening?" I asked, immediately holding her by the shoulders.
’Is it an aftereffect of the teleportation?’ I thought, though I did not dwell on it.
I lifted her in a princess carry, but just as I was about to leap, she tugged at my sleeve and whimpered softly,
"Th-this is the w-world from the Prophecy. Taranis, w-we must r-return to Vyoman right now."
