Chapter 453: A Strange Vortex

Jeremy emerged from the portal into the heart of the Demon Realm, his mind already racing with the next steps of his plan.

The sky above roiled with storm clouds, crackling with arcs of red lightning that illuminated the twisted spires of ancient obsidian fortresses scattered across the horizon.

This realm, once the domain of the Demon God, now belonged to Jeremy. But as he surveyed the scorched expanse, he knew that ruling the Demon Realm was only the beginning.

His true goal lay far beyond these burning fields—in the conquest of other realities, the overthrow of their gods, and the accumulation of power until he could challenge the Administrators themselves.

His eyes, still aglow with the mingled energies of light and darkness, scanned the legions of demons that had gathered to witness his arrival.

They were a fearsome sight, a sea of monstrous forms—horned, winged, armored, and fanged—each one a manifestation of raw, chaotic power.

But Jeremy felt no fear as he stood before them. They were his now, bound by his will, and they would serve as the first soldiers in his campaign of conquest.

Sariel stepped through the portal behind him, her wings folding as she took in the sight of the Demon Realm.

She could sense the shift in the balance of this world, the way it responded to Jeremy’s presence as if the very essence of the realm had been altered by his victory over the Demon God.

"They’re ready," Sariel said softly, her voice carrying a note of both reverence and caution. "But you need to solidify your control. These demons respect strength above all else. They’ll follow you now, but only as long as you prove you’re worthy of leading them."

Jeremy nodded, understanding the truth of her words. He had gained their obedience through fear and awe, but maintaining it required more.

He needed to show them that he was not just a usurper, but a ruler who could wield the power of the Demon Realm as effectively as the Demon God had—or even more so.

The sky above was a perpetual crimson, the air thick with the scent of sulfur and ash.

This was a realm of chaos and despair, yet it was here that Jeremy would build his power base—a bastion from which he would launch his assault on the Administrators and beyond.

The demons in the realm, sensing the shift in power, had begun to gather.

They appeared from the shadows, their monstrous forms twisted and malevolent. Jeremy could see the wariness in their eyes, the uncertainty.

They knew that the Demon God had fallen, and they could feel the presence of the one who had taken his place.

Sariel stood beside him, her wings folded, her eyes scanning the gathering horde.

"They’re waiting," she murmured. "They want to see if you’re truly the one to lead them. They want to see your strength."

Jeremy nodded, understanding the unspoken challenge.

The demons were creatures of power and fear; they would only follow him if he could prove that he was stronger than anything they had ever known.

And Jeremy had no intention of disappointing them.

Raising his hand, Jeremy called upon the divine and dark energies within him.

~CRACKKKKKK!!!~

The air around him crackled with power, a tangible force that made the very ground beneath him tremble.

He could feel the essence of the Demon God and his fallen Generals coursing through him, feeding his strength, amplifying his will.

The demons recoiled slightly, their eyes widening as they felt the raw power emanating from Jeremy.

But fear was not enough. Jeremy needed their loyalty, their absolute obedience.

"Behold," Jeremy’s voice rang out across the landscape, echoing like thunder. "I am Jeremy, the one who defeated your god, the one who has claimed his power. You will follow me, or you will be destroyed."

He raised his hand higher, and the ground beneath the demons split open, revealing a chasm of molten fire.

The demons closest to the edge scrambled back, their eyes fixed on Jeremy with a mixture of awe and terror.

He allowed the chasm to close slowly, the molten rock sealing back into the earth as if it had never been disturbed.

"You have seen a fraction of my power," Jeremy continued, his voice low and menacing.

"Know this—if you stand with me, you will share in my conquest. We will take this realm, and then we will take others. But if you defy me..."

His eyes blazed with the combined light and darkness of his essence, "...you will be cast into the void, forgotten and erased from existence."

The demons hesitated, the weight of Jeremy’s words sinking in. Then, one by one, they knelt before him, bowing their heads in submission.

The gesture spread like wildfire through the horde until every demon in the realm had sworn fealty to their new master.

Jeremy felt a surge of satisfaction as he looked over the bowed forms. The first piece of his plan had fallen into place.

With the demons under his command, he now had the army he needed.

But he would need more than just numbers to face the Administrators.

He needed to become more powerful, more cunning, more ruthless.

Turning to Sariel, Jeremy spoke with calm determination. "It’s time to open the gateways.

We’re going to other realities, other worlds. We will challenge their gods and claim their power, one by one."

Sariel nodded, her expression resolute. "And once you have their power, nothing will be able to stop you.

Not the Administrators, not even the fabric of reality itself."

Jeremy’s gaze turned to the horizon, where the crimson sky met the jagged mountains.

"I will reshape reality," he said quietly, almost to himself. "I will become the architect of a new order."

With a wave of his hand, Jeremy began to weave the spell that would open the gateways to other realities.

The air before him shimmered and warped, a swirling vortex of energy forming in response to his command.

Through this vortex, he would travel to other worlds, each one ruled by a deity, each one a potential source of new power.

"Let the conquest begin," Jeremy said, stepping toward the vortex. "And let every god, every deity in existence know that their time is over. A new era is dawning, and it belongs to me."

With that, he stepped into the gateway, Sariel following close behind. The vortex closed behind them, leaving the demons in the Demon Realm to wait in anticipation of their master’s return.
