Chapter 452: Reflection In The Throne Room

Jeremy stood in the ruined throne room, the silence almost deafening after the tumultuous battle.

The once grand hall, now a desolate wasteland of shattered stone and lingering shadows, seemed to hold its breath as if in anticipation of what was to come.

The divine and dark energies coursing through his veins were like twin rivers, surging with a power that felt both exhilarating and dangerous.

He had become something more, something greater than he had ever dreamed possible.

But with this power came the realization that his journey was far from over.

This battle had been a mere skirmish in the greater war that loomed on the horizon.

Jeremy’s eyes, still glowing faintly with the remnants of the battle, scanned the ruined throne room.

The echoes of the Demon God’s last roar of defiance seemed to fade into nothingness, leaving only the heavy silence in its wake.

He could feel the lingering essence of the fallen Generals and their master, now a part of him, bolstering his already formidable strength.

Yet, he knew that this was but a fraction of what he would need to face the challenges ahead.

The weight of his victory, of the power he now possessed, hung heavy in the air, yet Jeremy’s thoughts were already far beyond the destruction that surrounded him.

The dark and divine energies that now coursed through him made him feel invincible.

He had defeated the Demon God, absorbed his Inverse Essence, and become something more than he had ever imagined.

But Jeremy knew that this was just the beginning.

With both the Essence of Light and the Inverse Essence of Darkness within him, Jeremy now wielded a power greater than that of any single Administrator or Demon God.

He could feel it pulsing through his veins, a volatile mix of forces that threatened to consume him if he wasn’t careful.

But he had trained for this, prepared for this moment when he would seize power that no mortal—or even immortal—had ever dared to claim.

Yet, despite his newfound strength, Jeremy was no fool. He knew the Administrators would not stand idly by.

The moment they learned of the Demon God’s defeat, they would come for him.

And while he could likely defeat any one of them in combat, there were countless Administrators—each as powerful and as ancient as the Demon God he had just vanquished. He could not face them all. Not yet.

"We need to leave this place," Sariel said softly, breaking the silence.

Her voice was calm, but there was an underlying tension that Jeremy had not heard before.

"The Administrators will sense what you’ve done. They’ll come soon."

Jeremy turned to her, his gaze hardening. "Let them come," he said, though he knew that now was not the time for another battle.

He needed to consolidate his power, prepare for the inevitable onslaught.

Sariel shook her head, her wings ruffling slightly as she stepped closer.

"You may have the power of both Light and Darkness now, but the Administrators are infinite. You can’t fight them all at once."

Jeremy narrowed his eyes, contemplating her words. "Then we don’t fight them all at once," he said slowly, the beginnings of a plan forming in his mind. "We divide them. Turn them against each other."

Sariel’s brow furrowed. "How? The Administrators are bound by their code. They are not like the demons you’ve fought. They won’t betray each other."

Jeremy smiled, a dark, knowing smile. "They may be bound by their code, but they’re not immune to ambition. Each Administrator seeks to prove their worth, to ascend higher in their hierarchy. If I can exploit that—offer them something they want—they’ll turn on each other."

Sariel’s eyes widened slightly as she realized what he was suggesting. "You’re going to use the power you’ve taken...to manipulate them."

Jeremy nodded. "Exactly. I’ll create a rift among them, make them question each other, weaken their unity. By the time they realize what’s happening, it’ll be too late. I’ll have already taken control."

Sariel looked at him with a mixture of admiration and fear. "And if they don’t fall for it? What if they unite against you?"

Jeremy’s gaze hardened. "Then we’ll face them together. But we’ll do it on our terms, not theirs."

Sariel hesitated, then nodded. "Very well. But we need to act quickly. We should return to the Demon Realm, consolidate your hold over the remaining forces. The demons will follow you now, but they need to see your power firsthand."

Jeremy agreed. "We’ll gather the demons, solidify our power base. Then we’ll strike."

As they prepared to leave the shattered throne room, Jeremy glanced back one last time at the place where the Demon God had fallen. The ash that had once been the mighty ruler was now scattered across the floor, a stark reminder of the power he had claimed.

"Let’s go," he said, turning away from the ruins. "The real war starts now."

They stepped through the portal that Sariel had opened, leaving the remnants of the Demon God’s throne room behind.

As they crossed into the Demon Realm, Jeremy felt the surge of energy within him intensify.

The dark, fiery landscape stretched out before them, a twisted reflection of the world he had left behind.

The demons that remained in the realm could sense the change in power, the shift in the balance of energy.

They would either follow him or be destroyed—there was no middle ground. Jeremy would see to it that they understood this clearly.

And once the demons were his, he would turn his attention to the Administrators. He would divide them, break them, and then—one by one—he would conquer them.

But for now, he would bide his time, gather his strength, and prepare for the battles ahead.

The Administrators were powerful, but they had never faced anything like him before.

Jeremy had become a singularity, a force of nature that would not be denied.

As the portal closed behind them, Jeremy’s eyes glowed with a dark determination.

The world had not yet seen what he was truly capable of, but soon, they would all know. He would reshape reality itself, bend it to his will.

And nothing—not even the Administrators—would stand in his way.
