The first sign that she was changing was the fact that corruption energy was dripping out from her feet.

When this happened, Zeldir had no choice but to drop Dorothy by transforming back into his small form.

It wasn’t that he wanted to drop her, it was that the corruption energy had been trying to enter him. It was as if the corruption energy that came from Dorothy was some kind of living symbiot that was trying to find something to attach to.

Which was why Zeldir had no choice but to drop her or else he would put himself in risk of being attacked by the corruption energy.

It was actually worse for Zeldir since he was a god’s messenger and was filled with divine energy.

If the corruption energy had actually attached to him, it would have created a large mess as it fought the divine energy inside of him. It would have basically destroyed him from the inside to let the corruption energy in.

After being dropped by Zeldir like this, the corruption energy caught Dorothy as she fell to the ground.

That corruption energy that came from her feet formed some kind of landing pad that caught Dorothy as she hit the ground. It cushioned her fall and made sure that she was alright before creeping out around her.

Even though it had just crashed to the ground like this, the corruption energy was still looking for a host as if it wasn’t injured at all.

While this was happening, it seemed like there was some other kind of change that came over Dorothy.

Her body was still growing in size as she became more and more of an adult, but it was also changing as if things were growing out of her. She had only looked like a human adult version of herself before, but now it was like she was transforming into some kind of demon.

There were horns that appeared on her head, there were wings that came from her back, and there was even a tail that came from her butt.

It really seemed like she was transforming into some kind of demonic creature.

Though that was strange since it wasn’t as if demons were representation of the forces of Destruction in the first place. They were nothing more than pawns that had even fallen to the plot of the forces of Destruction in the first place.

"Her desire should be to gain more power to help us and if that’s the case, then it transformed her into this creature because it’s a representation of her power?"

That was the best explanation that I could think of, but that didn’t matter right now.

Since she had fallen to the ground, it meant that there was more that we could do now.

"Use your divine energy and try to purify the corruption energy. We need to form some kind of net that will suppress it and help her regain her control."

This wasn’t just for me alone, this was for anyone that was nearby since there really was no choice. I was running low on divine energy after that fight with War and even with Queenie’s help, it was hard for me to suppress this on my own.

Though it didn’t seem like there were many that wanted to help.

It seemed like there were many that were afraid of Dorothy.

Even though we had slowly changed the racial alliance’s opinion of Dorothy, it wasn’t as if it had completely changed. There were many that feared her and her power, which was why there were still petitions to lock her up.

Now that she had lost control like this, there were many that were afraid to approach her.

There were some that came to help, but it really didn’t seem like it was going to do much.

"Fight it. You can fight it. Don’t lose to this."

I tried all that I could to help cheer her on as she fought against the corruption energy, but it really didn’t seem like there was much that she was able to do as her figure kept changing.

"It might be time to take her out once and for all."

There were a few whispers that suggested this, but I just ignored them as I focused on helping Dorothy suppress her transformation.

Only it didn’t seem like it was having much effect.

"Fight it!"

There was this familiar voice that cut through all other sounds.

When this voice rang out, it seemed like there was a reaction that came from Dorothy.

With a tremble, it seemed like the transformation that she had been undergoing suddenly came to a stop. It seemed like this voice had a positive effect as it drew out her will to fight.

I turned to look in the direction of that voice with a look that said, "What are you doing here?"

It was just that Rose completely ignored me as she was focused on Dorothy alone.

It wasn’t just Rose alone that came here, it was the rest of my wives that came as well.

Rose was just the first one that shouted out, the others soon followed behind her as they all encouraged Dorothy to fight against the corruption energy.

With more of us joining in, it finally had an effect on Dorothy.

She was finally able to draw out her will to fight and she was slowly suppressing the corruption energy that came from inside of her. As she drew this out, the transformation of her body was reversing.

Slowly the horn, the tail, and the wings were disappearing.

At the same time, her body was shrinking as she returned to her original size.

To help her, I focused on using my divine energy to create a net that would help her take control of the corruption energy.

Only it didn’t seem like everyone agreed with this plan.

It seemed like there were those that still believed that it was better if Dorothy was taken care of once and for all.

These people were willing to risk their lives for this.
