That was the only expression that was on anyone’s face at this moment.

After all, not a single one of them could believe that I would propose something like this all of a sudden.

There wasn’t a single person that seemed to be able to come back to their senses even after some time passed. It was as if their brains just couldn’t process the words that came out of my mouth.

Only it didn’t seem like they had a choice but to accept what I said.

The one that spoke in the end was the representative from the Holy Empire.

"Holy Son, you can’t do something like this. You must remember the prophecy."

The Holy Empire was the one country that had direct contact with the gods and received oracles from them. So it could be said that they were the ones that knew the most about this war other than me.

Which was why they were very distressed when they heard that I would be leaving the Kite Kingdom.

As soon as the representative from the Holy Empire spoke, it was as if a spark had been lit and everyone came back to their senses. All of them started trying to convince me to go back on this decision since they thought that I was being rash.

Only I didn’t say anything as all of them tried to convince me.

Once they felt like they’ve said all that they could say, they slowly stopped talking and waited for me to say something.

I just calmly said, "The reason that I created this racial alliance was for the benefit of all the races on this continent. I wanted to help everyone fight against the forces of Destruction since it was a threat that we all faced."

Then as my voice turned colder, I said, "But it seems like this racial alliance has served its purpose. While I have been offering my sincere cooperation, there are those that are plotting behind the racial alliance’s back for their own gains. As such, I feel that there’s no need for us to cooperate anymore."

Finally, my voice became a bit less cold as I said, "Of course, we’re more than happy to continue other cooperations that we currently have in place."

As soon as I said this, there were many that understood what I was doing by withdrawing from the racial alliance.

The ones that panicked the most were the countries that had brought up the proposal to do something to Dorothy.

After all, they knew that they were the ones that I was targeting.

These countries weren’t actually that important in the racial alliance.

There were a few large human kingdoms that were a part of this, but they weren’t large enough to threaten the four empires or the other races. Which was why they had grouped together like this in the first place.

Overall, the ones that were currently proposing this only made up around 10% of the racial alliance. It was only because they were bringing it up at a time like this that anyone took them seriously.

None of the representatives from the empires or the other races said anything.

It seemed like they were all waiting for the group that had brought this proposal to say something. It didn’t seem like this was something that concerned them at all with how they were acting.

"This...we...I..." The one that had spoken on behalf of this group before stammered when they heard this.

After all, they knew that they really wouldn’t survive if this were to go through.

If this happened, they simply would lose all support from any other country.

That was just how much influence the Kite Kingdom had.

If it wasn’t for the forces of Destruction, then they might not mind since they would be able to survive on their own until something on the continent changed.

But since it involved the forces of Destruction, they really needed the divine energy weapons and such that we provided them. If they didn’t have them, they would be sitting ducks waiting to be swallowed by the corruption energy.

It was just that they didn’t seem willing to put down their pride to beg...

"Since there’s no objection on this matter, then we’ll leave things here." I said all of a sudden when there was no response from the representatives.

At this, all the representatives from that group started to panic.

With a sigh, the one that spoke for them said, "What do you want from us?"

"There’s nothing that I want from you, it’s up to you to make a decision."

"But this will tear the continent apart. What about for the prosperity of all races?"

"That was something that I wanted, but it’s clearly not something that you want."

"All this for one person?"

The moment that the representative asked this, my eyes turned cold and I said, "Never touch my family." 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Without even waiting for a response, I closed the connection to those representatives.

The ones that were left shook their heads with bitter looks on their faces.

It wasn’t because of what I said, but rather they knew that the representative had messed up.

In the end, the representative from the Holy Empire said, "We can’t accept this withdrawal request right away and need to discuss this. As such, we’ll hold off on this for now."

I gave a simple nod in response since I knew that this was nothing more than a stall tactic.

Not to mention, I didn’t really want to tear all of this apart.

The only thing that I wanted was to show how far I was willing to go to protect Dorothy and my family. As well, I wanted to make a demonstration of those that had tried to do something to her behind my back.

I did want to help all of the people of the continent, but they had gone too far.

Since I had the power to make a few countries collapse, then I would use it and help the people of those countries later.

Once the people that made this decision were gone, it wasn’t too late to help those people then like with the Democratic Union.
