"Thank you for taking the time to meet with us."

I didn’t say anything in response to this greeting.

Instead, I just looked at the faces in front of me with a cold look on my face.

Seeing this, there was an awkward mood that filled this call. It was just that they couldn’t ignore me since they were the ones that had requested this meeting.

Not to mention that they were the ones that were suffering because they were the ones that wanted something from this meeting. They were the ones that would be in trouble if this meeting didn’t have an ending.

So that was why they had no choice but to continue with the meeting even though I didn’t have a response.

"I know that this is a difficult matter to discuss, but I feel like we should discuss this properly. This is a matter that involves the fate of the entire continent and all the races living on it, so it isn’t one that can be made lightly. I feel..."

"Is that all that you have to say?" Before this representative could finish what he was saying, I suddenly asked this question.

As soon as they heard this question, there were ugly expressions that appeared on their faces.

It wasn’t as if it was just the representative that had this ugly expression.

All of them had the same ugly expression on their faces when they were forced into this situation.

But there really was no other choice since there was nothing else that they could do.

In short, they were trapped because the other side held all the cards in this negotiation.

"What do you want?"

It took a while, but the representative eventually said this with a sigh to show their surrender.

I didn’t waste any time in dictating the terms since it wasn’t worth the time to negotiate with them.

As I did so, I could see the expressions on their faces turning uglier.

The terms that I gave them simply didn’t leave them any way out, these were terms that were determined to take everything away from them.

So it was clear that it was hard for them to actually accept these terms.

From the expressions on their faces, it really seemed like they wanted to argue against some of these terms and try to lessen the punishment that was imposed on them.

"I don’t care if you have anything to say, this isn’t actual negotiations. This is nothing more than a sentence and you can accept it or not." I said in a cold voice once I was done telling them everything.

Stunned expressions appeared on the faces of all the representatives since they didn’t expect me to be this firm on this matter. They thought that these were actual negotiations and that they would have a chance to at least say something.

But now that everything had been declared one-sidely like this, there really wasn’t a single thing that could be done or said. All that was in front of them was to either accept these terms or reject them.

"This is tyranny."

"Yes it is."

Once again, they fell into shock at my immediate response.

It was clear that all of them had a formed idea of me and that was what they were basing their negotiation tactic on. However, that idea of me was outdated since I had also changed during this time. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

I realized that while it was important to help the people of the continent, that didn’t mean that I had to go along with everything that they wanted.

In the past, I had been too idealistic since I had been following the plans of the gods because I had no other choice. But now that I had gained most of the inheritance of the God of Creation, I had some wiggle room to make my own decisions.

I wouldn’t let them hurt the ones that I cared about.

"Even if you say all of this, it’s not as if we can hand over people that don’t..."

"This is a list of all the people that we’ve identified so far and we’re in the process of identifying more. It’s your decision whether you want to cooperate or not. If you don’t cooperate, then I can only say that it will be much worse for you."

At this point, the stunned expression could even be considered the default expression on their face.

They had wanted to deny what I was showing them, but it was hard for them to do so when they knew that this list was legitimate. The names that were on the list were names that we had gotten through our information networks and the soldier that we had captured.

I had made sure that soldier spit out everything that he knew before taking care of him.

As for the information from the information networks, those were from the information networks of the other three empires and the other races. So there really was nothing that could be hidden when basically the entire continent moved to unearth it.

At this point, they had been completely beaten into submission with everything laid bare.

The only thing that they could do was beg and hope for clemency.

"We accept these terms."

There were many different emotions that appeared on their faces as they tried to think of something to say, but there really wasn’t a single move that was left for them. Which was why in the end, they really had no choice but to accept the terms that I had put forth.

I gave a simple nod since this was what I had been expecting from the beginning.

However, what they didn’t know was that behind the scenes, there were already things that were moving.

These people that had these thoughts were too dangerous to leave alone, so the only thing that could be done was to take them out secretly.

Which was what my next meeting was about.
