There were only a few people that were at this meeting, but these were the people that held most of the power on the continent.

It was the representatives from the other three empires and the representatives of the other races.

This was a meeting that was rarely held in the past since we decided to include the other countries in the meetings of the racial alliance. But this time, I was the one that had called them all together like this.

When the meeting started, all of them looked at me with strange looks.

They all looked at me as if they were meeting me for the first time.

I didn’t react to the way that they looked at me as I waited for any of them to speak.

There was one thing that I wanted them to bring up first.

"So you’re planning on subduing them?"

When they swung, they really didn’t hold back at all.

The way that they were being this direct made me feel a bit awkward, but I quickly suppressed that feeling.

It didn’t matter if they were being direct or not, since there was only one thing that I was aiming to do today. In fact, it was even better if they were being direct since it meant that I didn’t have to beat around the bush.

"Yes."

There were surprised looks that appeared on their faces once more.

They weren’t stunned like before since they already had some guesses, but they were certainly caught off guard by the fact that I was admitting this.

After coming back to their senses from this shock, they narrowed their eyes to look at me.

After all, the fact that I admitted something like this meant that there was something serious that was about to be discussed. They really wanted to prepare themselves for what kind of bomb I would drop this time.

A part of me felt a bit aggrieved seeing them look at me like this, but I didn’t show any of that as I continued speaking.

"It’s become a problem in the racial alliance. It didn’t matter in the past if they wanted some things since that was just how it was and we all agreed that this was the case. As long as they didn’t harm the shared interest of the races of the continent, there wasn’t anything for us to do."

Then my voice turned cold as I said, "However, they’ve crossed that line and have started taking action that harms the racial alliance as a whole. That is why I have decided to put my foot down this time."

Once again, everyone looked at me as if they were meeting me for the first time.

I could guess what was on their minds just from the way that they looked at me, but I just calmly looked back at them while waiting for their response.

After a long silence, the pope of the Solista Religion said, "It is true that they’ve been acting out lately, so we can agree on this idea. However, there’s another matter that needs to be addressed."

I wasn’t surprised to hear this, this was actually what I was waiting for them to bring up.

"It’s still a fact that she is dangerous. It’s not as if they are completely unjustified in what they did, even if they did take things too far."

That was the stance that they took and I didn’t blame them.

They were right that Dorothy was technically dangerous because of the power that she possessed. Especially when she had started transforming in the end, which just went to prove that she was a ticking time bomb of sorts.

However, I countered, "But we can’t ignore the fact that she is useful. She has abilities that none of us have that can help us in this fight against the forces of Destruction."

There was no one that argued this since they knew that this was true.

In that fight against War, if it wasn’t for the fact that Dorothy had been restraining the corruption energy that had been flowing into War, then I certainly wouldn’t have been able to stop War that easily.

So in a way, it could be said that Dorothy was one of the main contributors to this matter.

However, they had to think about pros versus the cons.

Even if Dorothy was helpful in dealing with the forces of Destruction, it didn’t completely negate the fact that she was dangerous. With her transformation, she had even shown signs of becoming a bigger problem than the forces of Destruction.

Seeing that they were hesitating over this decision, I said, "There’s still one more of the Four Omens and it will be the strongest of them all. You’ve already seen how much I’ve struggled with War alone, so there’s no telling what will happen in the future. For now, it’s best if we keep her safe and make sure that we can count on her help in the future."

Though I said this, it wasn’t as if I was actually planning on bringing Dorothy into the fight with the last of the Four Omens, Death. I was just saying this so that I would be able to convince them not to make things too difficult.

There was even a part of me that was even feeling guilty because of the way that I had to talk about Dorothy.

Saying that she was something that we should use was not the right thing to say, but it was the best thing to say in this situation which was why I had no choice but to say it.

Slowly, it seemed like they were being convinced of what I said.

However, it also seemed like they had some conditions before agreeing to this.

"You’ll have to make sure that she doesn’t have another similar outburst."

I gave a simple nod of agreement.

As long as they agreed on how to treat those other countries, it didn’t matter if they had a small request like this.

It was even something that I had been planning to do anyway.
