"There’s another one coming?" I asked in a helpless voice.

In the end, it wasn’t as if this was something that could be delayed.

Once it came, there really was no stopping this matter.

It was just that it really came one after another instead of coming all at once.

It would have been much easier if everything came all at once.

But that wasn’t how life worked sometimes.

Sometimes, one had to roll with the punches that came and that meant rolling with the ones that came now.

After I had returned, Ariel had come back to see me.

But right after that, she had gone back to the Merman Kingdom to prepare to give birth.

I received a message from the Merman Kingdom that she had gone into labour.

Since I received this message, I didn’t waste any time heading to the Merman Kingdom instead of going back to the Kite Kingdom. I wanted to be there if anything happened, even though I knew that nothing would happen.

After all, there was a reason why she went back to the Merman Kingdom in the first place.

There were all kinds of facilities there that would help mermaids give birth and it wasn’t as if she would be mistreated since she was the princess of the Merman Kingdom. It would only take a call for all of the Merman Kingdom’s resources to be at her beck and call.

It was to the point where by the time that I arrived, it was all over.

I was happy to see that my child had been born without a problem, but I could also tell that there was something strange happening with everyone. It was as if there was something that they weren’t telling me with the way that they acted.

The more that they acted this way, the more that I felt like there was something wrong.

Which was why eventually I said, "Alright, just tell me what happened instead of keeping me in the dark like this."

"Well..."

There was hesitation not just from my in laws, but also from Ariel herself.

It was as if they really found it hard to tell me what had happened just now.

But eventually they said, "There was a phenomenon that happened the moment that the child was born."

"A phenomenon?"

I was surprised by what they said, but I also knew that no normal phenomenon would be able to provoke this kind of reaction from them. It had to be some kind of very special phenomenon for them to actually say something like this.

Which was why I narrowed my eyes to look at them.

"The seas themselves seemed to celebrate the moment that the child was born."

As they said this, the look on their faces was very strange.

With how they said this, it was as if they weren’t even sure of what they had just described. After all, what they said didn’t seem to make any sense at all.

"How could the seas themselves celebrate the birth of a child?"

To this, there was no response since they didn’t know what to say.

It seemed like whatever had happened was so strange that they had no words to describe it.

"Take a look."

In the end, it was something that Zyra took out that showed me what it was.

It was no wonder none of them was able to describe it either.

If it wasn’t for the fact that Zyra had this special seashell that could record some images, then I wouldn’t have believed it either. However, it was hard to deny it when it was in front of my face like this.

"How is this possible?"

There was no one that was able to say anything in response to this.

But that wasn’t strange since they had no words to even describe this event in the first place. If they actually knew what to say in response to this question, then they wouldn’t have struggled earlier to answer my question.

There really were no words to describe the way that the water in the sea moved after the birth of this child.

After thinking about it, I asked, "Do you know if there was some kind of external force that acted to create this phenomenon?"

Right now, the most important thing was to determine what the cause of this phenomenon was. After all, it might not be something that was caused by the child, it might be something that was caused by something else.

All of them shook their heads to show that they didn’t know anything.

It wasn’t as if I had been expecting anything from them in the first place.

This was the kind of phenomenon that seemed like a miracle in the first place, so it wasn’t something that normal people would have been able to follow. This was the kind of miracle that really seemed like it was in the domain of the gods themselves.

As this thought passed through my mind, I couldn’t help thinking of something.

"It wouldn’t be the two of them, right?"

There was a part of me that thought that it might be those two, but I wanted to believe that they wouldn’t do something like this.

But in the end, it turned out that there was someone that was able to confirm this.

As I looked at the trident that the Merman King had, he suddenly said, "I felt something from it the moment my grandchild was born."

I was surprised by this confession, but I wasn’t actually surprised by what my father in law said. After all, there was a part of me that had already guessed that they had been involved in this matter.

"Did they send you an oracle or something else?"

The Merman King shook his head in response before looking at me in a certain way.

I could already guess what he was expecting from me as he looked at me like this.

In fact, there was a part of me that already expected this since he had been looking at me differently from the others the entire time.
