The prime minister was the one that suffered the most in the end.

After all, the things that those companies had done were things that went against the law.

It was also why they were able to crush those companies without much problem.

Since they had committed crimes, it was only natural that the government would be involved since they would have to punish the criminals that were caught.

What they were referring to was how the clients had harassed me or at least attempted to do so before Haley stopped them.

When I heard this, I talked to Haley about his punishment since I knew that he was a good person deep down even if he was a bit greedy as a merchant.

Regardless of how I was let go, it wasn’t as if I was going to remain there any longer since I had already observed everything that I could have observed.

I might have learned more if I went further and worked as part of the supply chain, but it would have been hard to arrange that with how everything turned out.

It wasn’t as if that mattered since I already had my next job prepared.

The state didn’t want to confiscate them since the companies were in charge of a lot of jobs. Even if those jobs weren’t the best, they still did a lot to help with the economy.

Those companies weren’t crazy enough to do things like tax evasion after all.

So in the end, all of those assets were absorbed by Haley’s company.

None of the people that were absorbed complained because finally they were being treated properly. Once those assets had been absorbed and the jobs had been rearranged, the first thing that happened was that they all received raises.

Or it was better to say that they were finally being paid the normal standard pay.

Those companies didn’t have good pay to begin with, but it wasn’t as if the workers had a choice.

Of course, it wasn’t as if Haley’s company suffered from the extra costs since this meant that things were cheaper for them in their stores. The items that these companies once provided returned to the same spots and they were even cheaper because of the lower costs.

So that was why the ultimate winner of all of this was Haley’s company.

It was also the main reason that she had helped with the investigation in the first place.

Haley was quite ruthless when it came to business, she certainly wouldn’t show any mercy if she could benefit from it.

Helping people was just an added extra.
