Chapter 101: Class: Supreme

The bright moon cascaded the surroundings. Faint light passed through the canopies of the trees, gently illuminating the dark of the night beneath.

Atop the canopy of one of the trees, a figure of a man sat unmoving. Gazing at the top of the dark horizon, the bright moon and the stars painted the man’s somewhat lazy eyes.

Wearing a dark hoodie paired with black pants, Desther leaned on the tree’s branch with relaxed posture while staring into the void.

It has been a few hours since he reached the maximum experience points for a Tier 0 Awakened Professional. It had been that many hours since his ten overpowered classes were also replaced by a single one without any prior warning—or maybe there was, but he just did not know.

After all, the moment all of his attributes’ values reached 500, the ten options disappeared and were immediately replaced by a single one.

Looking at the description of the Class, Supreme, Desther was actually not that disappointed toward the entire incident.

After all, the name alone already sounds powerful, and upon viewing all of its effects, bonuses, and skill names, it was hard to stay disappointed as well.

What he was really upset about was the process of how he got it.

The ten options provided him with a choice, while what replaced them was just a single one, without any room for selection.

For Desther, it felt like reading a novel with a good synopsis, and then when you read the actual novel, the content was actually entirely different and far from what the synopsis was all about.

Fortunately, it was not that awful for him since he kind of liked the Class called Supreme that has replaced the others.

[Supreme:

The pinnacle that stands above all. Transcends space and time, bends laws and possibilities with no limit. A supreme is not bound by nothing. A carefree being at the top of power and might. No one is above a Supreme. No one!

Effects: For every level up, All attributes +200. All skills Mastery +1 level. You can easily learn all kinds of skills and easily increase your mastery over them.

Skills: Supreme Form, Supreme Battle Art, Supreme Body, Supreme Will, Supreme Force]

For starters, the description was definitely on par with the ones earlier. The bonus attributes, as well as its other effects, were a notch higher, allowing him to obtain a total of 1000 Attribute Points each time he leveled up. This number was truly absurd.

Not only that, but this Class also allows him to increase his mastery or proficiency of his skills by one level.

Take the current Magic Bullet for example. As of this moment, his mastery over it was just at Intermediate 15%. However, with this Class, it would be directly upgraded to High Mastery. Its might would be a notch higher, and his applications and control over it would improve overnight too.

Aside from this, it also allows him to easily learn other skills and at the same time easily increase his mastery over them.

It must be known that once an Awakened Professional obtains their class, learning or getting skills from other skills would be extremely difficult. Although it was still possible, they would find out that they would not be able to utilize the skill as efficiently as when it was used by its appropriate class.

Take a Warrior trying to learn an Archer’s skill for example. Although they could still learn and use an Archer’s skill like Swift Arrow, they would find it hard to actually land a hit on their target. Oftentimes, the skills’ power would also be drastically reduced and would veer off course without warning.

This was why synergy with your skills and class was important, too.

With Supreme’s effect, though, he could just learn any skills and it would not affect him. This was definitely a good effect to have since his Skill Theft literally allows him to learn the skill of monsters.

This was part of the reason why he liked this talent too.

Having yourself restricted to one particular set of skills was kind of boring. With such freedom, Desther could be a mage, a warrior, a tank, or a healer without any form of restriction.

Anyway, all the skills have the ’Supreme’ prefix, as if the name of the class was not enough for them to be known. The skills sounded powerful, too. He could not wait to see their actual details and effects once he reached level 11.

Desther summoned his Profile Page and checked over the details once again.

He was now at the maximum limit of Tier 0.

Not only that, Desther also learned of the fact that he could no longer allocate his Free Attributes to his main attributes the moment they hit 500.

Desther wondered whether this was the limit of a Tier 0 Awakened Professional or just his own limitation.

He also wondered if someone had already reached this limit before reaching Tier 1 like him. And if they did, had they also unlocked the Supreme class, or had they unlocked a different one?

Desther has a lot of questions in regard to this actually. Unfortunately, it would remain unanswered for the time to come. He doesn’t have anyone to ask about it after all.

He clicked on the Choose Your Class part, and the interface containing the Class: Supreme’s details rose in front of him.

Clicking on it once more, an interface once again popped up.

[Are you sure you want to choose the Class [ Supreme ] as your Tier 1 Class? Yes|| No? ]

Desther shrugged his shoulders upon seeing that.

’Not that I have a choice anyway!’

He clicked ’Yes’ and confirmed his decision.

Once he did so, a brand new interface showed up.
