Laden was just about to shout out asking who it was when he suddenly remembered and realized something.

"It’s that voice," he thought.

Laden hadn’t expected the voice to speak to him again since it had been silent for quite a while, and now it was back again.

"I thank you for the progress you have made in the Spirit World, and I think you should have gotten your reward," The voice said.

"What reward?" Laden was just about to burst out saying when he suddenly realized something and forced himself to stop.

"In addition to coming here to thank you for the progress, I have also come to tell you something," the voice said.

"I will be as swift as possible; the two things I need to tell him are directly connected, so make sure to sit on it."

"Firstly, you aren’t done with the work you have started, we have successfully cleared the Corrupted beasts in one section, but there are still other sections left with corruption."

"Secondly, you need to upgrade your Essence as soon as you can," she said in a determined tone.

"I have to go now and finally be careful about the abilities you use in the Spirit with that Summon of yours,"

"You are attracting their attention."

Laden remained quiet while the voice spoke; despite having questions, he still decided to remain quiet and listen to what it had to say in the end.

He had given up trying to get answers from it; instead, he had decided to start getting them himself.

"Farewell," the voice said while it slowly faded away.

A few seconds later, Laden’s presence fully left him, and now he was free to talk as he liked.

"Prime, what do you think the reward she is talking about is?" Laden asked.

Silence pervaded for a few seconds as Prime seemed to think of a perfect response to the question he was being asked. But after a few more, he finally raised his voice to answer.

"I can’t say for sure, but I think it’s that ability to see that translucent ball that connected us to that strange guy," Prime said.

"Because if you think about it, since we have been in the spirit world and as far back as I can remember in the spirit, we haven’t seen that before,"

Laden listened while he gently nodded his head; though there was no way to confirm at the moment, he was very convinced by Prime’s words.

"Ohh yeah, and another thing, What does Upgrading my Essence mean?" Laden asked.

"It just means making me evolve," Prime said.

"But I don’t think that’s going to be possible anytime soon; this Primordial one is too special for that to just happen randomly," He said arrogantly.

"Hmmmm, Making you Evolve uhhh. Something tells me it’s going to be soon," Laden said with a smile.

The space went silent again as Laden waited for Prime’s retort or at least mockery, but nothing like that seemed to happen, only silence.

"Prime," Laden shouted.

"That would be great on many levels, Laden. If we can actually do that soon, then it will be on the same level as the big event I feel will be happening soon,"

Laden’s face was instantly scrunched up when he heard Prime’s words as a question popped up in his mind.

"Why can’t evolution be the big event itself," Laden asked.

"It can’t be," Prime said before going quiet.

With Prime’s quietness, Laden was now left alone in the room with no one to talk to and nothing to do. Though he had planned to head to the Spirit World and see if there was any Corrupted beast they could fight.

But listening to that Voice’s words, Laden had decided to wait and do something else till it was later in the night.

"Hopefully we get a new region section," Laden said.

While he waited for night to fall, Laden’s mind strayed to quite a lot of areas; he thought about Dally’s words, too, and the upcoming Academy Entrance Test.

"Oh, wait, they haven’t even told us the date," Laden said with a shocked face.

"Guess it won’t be that soon then," Laden muttered.

Before he could speak further, Laden suddenly heard a ding from his phone that he had almost always ignored.

"A notification from the Academy," He said skeptically.

"Alert: All students of the school that will be participating in the Academy Entrance Test should report to the school by 7pm tomorrow, failure to do shall signify as Withdrawal."

The further down the message Laden read, the wider his eyes got.

"Are they crazy?" Laden shouted at the end.

"Why so sudden and urgent?" he questioned.

Since the Academy hadn’t told them a specific date for the test, Laden had subconsciously concluded that it wouldn’t be anytime soon, but seeing the message is showing just how mistaken he was.

"Are they crazy, something as dangerous as this shouldn’t be rushed."

"What am I supposed to do now?"

Already on his feet due to the shock he felt earlier, Laden began pacing from left to right, thinking about what he was supposed to do.

"Laden, don’t be nervous; you have even fought those Grotesque looking Corrupted Beasts before. how bad can Evil beasts be?" he said while trying to console himself.

"Instead of Pacing around like a hungry infant, use that weird glowing stuff of yours to look for more information," Prime insulted.

"Glowing stuff? what do you mean by glowing stuff?" Laden asked.

"Are you blind, that stuff lying on the bed?" Prime shouted.

Following Prime’s direction, Laden’s eyes moved towards what Prime was talking about on the bed.

"My Phone?"

"Hahahaha, Prime, don’t tell me you don’t know what a phone is."

"How am I supposed to? Do you think someone like me needs such small things? All I need is my strength; I will fight through all of it," Prime said.

"Arrogant Brute,"

Seeing the point in what Prime had said, Laden moved to his bed and picked up his phone to actually search for information about the life of things outside the Terminals.

"Life out of the Terminal," Laden typed. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

The screen loaded for a bit before finally displaying something. But the results weren’t what Laden expected. Instead, he opened his mind wide in shock.

"I am so dead," he said with a frown on his face.
