SSS Grade Pervert: I Rule The World
Chapter 24: Spider Web
I took a deep breath, only to find myself almost vomiting because of the rotten smell of these undead.
"Um~ Gulp~"
I barely swallowed what was coming out of my stomach just to save face. While Emi wasn’t really crying hard, her eyes were dripping with tears.
"Are they your grandparents?" Adrine asked, taking interest in the drama.
"We need to leave this place. Once they are done eating, we will be the next food source for them." Ron’s cold rang in everyone’s ears as he was already walking forward.
"Let’s go, they are already dead, you guys can always mourn later, if you stay alive," Adrine said, following behind Ron. I crouched down beside her and offered her a ride on my back, wanting to follow them.
"I can run," She said, trying to control her tears, but I said, "You would only be slowing me down."
Of course, she wasn’t much of a drama queen, so she didn’t try to act all strong and quickly got on my back. As dashed behind those two losers, crossing through the woods.
It didn’t take me much time to catch up with them, because Ron was clearing the path forward for everyone, as he crushed all the bushes and tree branches blocking the path.
"Hey, what do you guys plan to do about this demon in the mountains? He seemed pretty strong," I asked, wanting to know if they had a way to deal with this level demon, which can manipulate weather and use undead curses.
"We will report it to the elders, and hopefully, they will kill it; if they can’t, they seal it in the Wong Zhi mountains," Adrine replied.
"Oh... it means there have been monsters that even your clans couldn’t kill," I clearly understood his words, as I said, wanting to know more about this supernatural word, which I was unaware of.
"You can think it like that, nowadays all ancient clans are facing severe decline. New emerging talents are unable to keep up with the talents of the past eras." Adrine spoke while his eyes were looking at Mink, who was jumping from one tree to another, keeping up with Ron easily.
"You know your pet is a good fit for a rune master. If you’re willing, I can offer you 100 million for it." Adrine said all of a sudden, making me almost fall on my steps.
"What! 100 million..." I asked with shock. All I needed was money to have a good life, and these millions would be enough to fulfil all my fetishes.
Then again, I wasn’t an old broke boy anymore, I have a system, and ultimate talents. There was no way a hundred million could be enough to buy my pet from me.
So, I quickly controlled myself and said, "he is not for sale."
"Sad... I can offer you half a billion or even more if you ever planned on selling him." Adrine said, showing his extravagant nature and his family’s wealth.
"What the fuck..." This person was making me lose my composure for the second time, as I realised one serious weakness of mine was that my mind was still that of a broke person. I need money to fill that broke wallet of mine. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
"What do you think of me? I am not selling anything," I retorted while running continuously. My lungs were reaching their limits. It was becoming harder for me to keep up with him.
On the other hand, Adrine was able to keep up with Ron much more easily because he didn’t have to carry a treasure chest on his back.
"If you want help, I can carry her," Adrine said with a smile, but didn’t waste my breath on him and continued running.
I was running with all my strength. My body was covered in sweat as I continued moving. Emi’s legs were wrapped around my waist, her hands wrapped around my neck, while her face was buried in my back, so some branches won’t hit her face.
The only good thing I could think of at this moment was that we were about to leave this place.
Suddenly, I had to stop in my tracks, making her hug me even tighter. In that process, her lips touched my ears, as her head came on my shoulder.
The next instant, the system was here, with a new reward.
[Congratulations, Host, on getting a kiss on your ears from your stepsister. Rewards are being calculated.]
[Reward: Wing of the Dead]
[Perverted Point: +100]
[Forbidden Point: +1]
I didn’t look at the description, as my eyes looked at the sight in front of us in horror.
We were standing at the edge of the small cliff, but below that was a swarm of the undead, which was heading down the mountain.
No one said a single word, as we stared at the horrifying sight in front of us, there were at the very least hundreds of undead. Moreover, every single one of them was human.
I seriously wonder why we haven’t seen any other creatures turning into undead, why only humans.
"Should we stop them?" Adrine looked at Ron and asked, waving his feather fan.
"It’s not worth it, we need to leave from here," Ron said, staring at the dark clouds capturing the sky.
At this moment, I also turned to the sky, finding nothing unusual there. But when I looked at Adrine, he was also staring at the sky. As if something was there.
They were made really curious, so I decided to use the eyes of the void to see if they show anything or not. After these void eyes were the only talent, I got related to vision.
This time, I was way more careful, as I activated my void eyes, and everything turned into a black outline, while the silver threads were everywhere. But it still didn’t see anything in the sky, except for rather silver strings that tied like a spider web in the sky.
"Ouch~"
As I was staring at the sky, I heard Emi’s painful voice from behind, and I realised I couldn’t feel her weight on my shoulder anymore.
