SSS Grade Pervert: I Rule The World
Chapter 27: Knowledge
After a few seconds, the skeleton was gone, as my new summon took his place, growing slightly taller than before.
As that burning figure appeared in the streets, people who had been peeking out from their windows quickly shut back in, horrified by his demonic appearance.
"Hey, it seemed a little taller than before," Adrine commented, watching the street with interest.
"I think so too," I didn’t deny him, but shut the window, sitting in the room in silence.
"So, what now?"
Adrine began looking around the room, as there was nothing else to do in this place. We didn’t have the signals because of that curse, leaving us bored here.
For some reason, no one worried about the demon preparing for his ascension ritual. Ron was taking a nap, his back reclining on the wall, eyes closed, and Adrine was messing around in the kitchen. As for Emi, she was lying beside me, trying to get a nap.
"Chee... chaaa..."
I was just taking a peaceful breath in when Mink came to me with the empty candy box. I looked at obsidian eyes and didn’t know what to say.
"You want more," I asked.
"Che... cha..." He quickly nodded his head.
"Then you can go out and get as many candies as you want. Remember not to hurt any humans."
I stood up and opened the window for him, and added, "Oh, you can also help out your fellow brother."
I pointed at the hellfire demon, which was munching on another skeleton on the street. Mink quickly nodded and flashed out of the house at lightning speed.
After he left, I again closed the window, sitting back in my place.
The silence was too deadly here, so I looked at Ron and decided to ask, "Will your clan come to save us in time?"
"Most likely, Hale’s will send someone to rescue him," Ron said, his words implying clearly that the Hale family will be coming for Adrine, not for him. But before I could ask the question in my head, Ron spoke again, "Don’t worry, much about it."
Saying so, he simply fell back asleep.
A few minutes later, Adrine walked out of the kitchen with four bowls of instant noodles.
"Hey, guys, wake up, time for dinner." He announced, giving a bowl each.
We all sat together, enjoying our meal, forgetting about the outside chaos. None of us mentioned any plan or anything, just passing our time together.
"Can you tell me a little bit about the ranks?" I asked, sipping the extra soup from my bowl. Of course, I didn’t forget to steal a bite from Emi’s bowl to get some rewards, but the system only gave me 10 perverted points for that not worth mentioning.
"It’s pretty simple, Ranks are divided into 7 tiers from Primary to Divine, and this Sacred Rank is tier 4," Adrine explained, leaving me to rest to guess on my own.
From what I’ve seen and heard from their conversation, the ranks were like this:
Tier 1: Primary
Tier 2: Mutant
Tier 3: Ascendant
Tier 4: Sacred
Tier 5: ?
Tier 6: ?
Tier 7: ?
So, currently, I am at the weakest Rank Primary, while Mink was a Tier Mutant.
But I was still missing one thing, which was the grades, so I turned to look at him again, ready to ask him about it too.
"If you want to know about the grades, then let me be clear, grades are metrics that make some qualitative boost in creatures, under the same rank, but they are also divided into sub tiers, Low, Mid and High, roughly. Like, the monkey we encountered was a low-grade Ascendant demon." Adrine explained patiently, but this mf still didn’t tell how many grades there are, might be seven, just like the Ranks.
"The grades are pretty simple, all you have to know is there are 5 grades, like ordinary, like those little monkeys, then comes awakened, like your pet, they have pretty high intelligence, after that comes ruler grade, the one that demonic monkey was at. Finally, at last comes the Overlord, the one who cast this curse."
Adrine explained calmly, emphasising his every word as if he were sharing some secret knowledge.
"But aren’t these only four?" Emi asked, she was listening to our conversation much more seriously than I, as I almost missed that this mf only told 4 grades after mentioning 5.
"Oh, the 5th-grade monster hadn’t been seen for a hundred years; they are just legends, that’s why we called it legendary grade." He said nonchalantly, before showing off his fan, as he added with a smirk, "You know, legends had it that this fan was made from the body of a legendary grade demon."
He unfolded his fan and flapped it at all of our faces for once.
"So, that was for the demon’s right, what about you guys, how do you enhance yourself?" I decided to ask more; they will likely not get an evolution point to upgrade themselves.
"That’s a secret, and believe me, even if I told it useless unless you join one of the already existing factions. It’s impossible to rank up for normal people who somehow were able to awaken their talents like you. They will always be stuck at the same rank." Adrine said with a cocky look, but am I gonna tell him that I don’t need their stupid method, I got my own treasure chest, of course not.
When he didn’t hear any reply from me, he said, "If you give me that red mouse of yours, I can let you join the clan."
"No thanks."
We ended our small meal, and I was feeling really good now, knowing so many things about this world’s secret, and it was completely like those manhwa’s now, I doubt if all these authors come from these great clans.
While all of us were completely relaxed, suddenly, a loud scream broke into our house, ruining my happy mood.
"Ahhh..."
