"He won’t; don’t worry. His nature is really kind; he was forced to act that way because he had no money to treat his sick mother. I’ll let you meet him today," Ye Chen said calmly.

"Meet him? Since we know he’s the murderer, shouldn’t he be caught?" Zhou Susu asked Ye Chen.

"Susu, I’d like to request something from you," Ye Chen’s expression suddenly turned serious.

Seeing Ye Chen in this way felt rather unusual to Zhou Susu—Ye Chen’s usual demeanor was carefree, and she felt she didn’t recognize the man in front of her.
