Jeremy made his move. He swept the blade across the beast’s side. The blade traveled in a wide arc before slicing through the body of the Red Tiger Beast.

Swoosh!

It happened fast. The Red Tiger Beast came to a halt at the other end. It felt the injury on its side; one could see a small, red-lined cut.

But blood was not leaking from the wound.

On the other hand, Jeremy turned around and looked toward the beast. Specifically, his gaze was fixed on the wound.

Seeing that blood was not coming from the cut, he was shocked. He hadn’t expected the flesh of the beast to be so thick.

He gripped the blade again.

Roar!

The Red Tiger had completely lost it. All of a sudden, the aura around the beast grew stronger. The Tier-5 beast’s strength surged unexpectedly.

Its already fierce scarlet eyes became even more blood-red, as if the beast were completely taken over by bloodthirsty instincts.

The beast was no longer rational; it looked completely savage. In this state, the beast would reveal more openings.

Seeing that, Jeremy Night’s eyes flickered. He didn’t expect the beast to lose its mind so soon.

The fierce Red Tiger disappeared from its spot. This time, its speed had doubled.

Jeremy Night was ready. He used his full concentration to observe the beast. Finally, he saw a slight difference in its movement.

But to the people outside, they only saw a flash.

Jeremy Night shifted his body weight and stabbed at the neck of the beast. The fiery red beast’s claws moved past, only an inch away from his body.

If the beast’s claws had hit, they would have taken a chunk of flesh and internal organs.

But right then, the blade’s edge penetrated the neck of the beast. The blade went deep inside and severed the blood vessels.

Boom!

The beast jolted all of a sudden. Jeremy felt the impact from the creature. He withdrew the blade and leaped backward.

A torrent of blood gushed forth from the stab wound. The blood fell, dyeing the ground crimson.

The Red Tiger Beast was stunned. The bleeding was heavy. It wanted to give chase, but it felt its strength failing.

The huge body of the beast landed on the ground, causing a heavy thud.

The shockwave spread across the area. Only then did the Beast Tamers fighting nearby pay attention.

They were fighting alongside their Lifeline beasts, yet here was someone who had brought down a Tier-5 beast with a bladed weapon.

It was a huge shock to them. However, because of the ongoing battle, they couldn’t afford to waste time.

Jeremy Night didn’t look at the beast. He turned around and started observing the battlefield, wanting to find his next target.

Boom!

Right then, an aerial beast flew above his head. The coercion from the beast hit the ground, and everyone felt the pressure.

The pressure applied to Jeremy Night as well. It was three levels above him. He slightly bent his body.

His bones made a creaking sound, but soon the pressure disappeared. The aerial beast was gone. If the pressure had persisted, a few bones in his body would have broken.

Jeremy stood up and wiped the sweat from his forehead. He then looked around. He found the sorry state of the Beast Tamers and their Lifeline beasts.

The corrupted beasts didn’t escape the pressure either; they were also affected by the coercion. Those who had been injured a few minutes ago were now dead.

Jeremy Night calmed his heart. He took a deep breath before looking toward his next target. He had already found one.

It was a group of Tier-5 Hyenas. The lead hyena shredded the low-tier corrupted beasts in front of it to clear a path.

They were in a straight path toward one another. The hyenas’ gaze fell on him, and they made their distinct laughing sound.

Three more beasts behind the leader came forward as well. Now, he had to face four Tier-5 beasts all at once.

Jeremy Night’s eyes gleamed with a twinkle. The hyenas had metal-like jaws and rows of teeth. He knew he should not underestimate them when fighting a group.

To end it quickly, he circulated his starlight power. A starlight thread covered the blade’s edge again, and a white glint appeared.

The hyenas didn’t notice it. They started charging at him. Compared to the Red Tiger Beast, the speed of a hyena was less over a short distance.

Slash!

He performed a "blade one move."

While executing the attack, he felt the momentum gathering in his body. In a flash, the beasts reached him.

He used his eye power to avoid a direct attack. At the same time, the blade came down, striking fast. It landed on the neck of the first beast.

Combined with the starlight power and blade momentum, the edge swept across the neck. In a single move, the head was decapitated.

Blood splattered across the ground as the decapitated head rolled away. All of this happened fast. He didn’t stop.

Jeremy executed the move against the other beasts. The result was the same. The blade strikes severed the heads of the three remaining hyenas, one by one.

Only then did Jeremy Night look around. He saw that the hyenas were completely dead. He didn’t relax; there was no quiet around him.

The chaos and sound of battle were everywhere. Fortunately, he had his eye power and sharpened senses. If any danger came close, he would know.

Jeremy then saw that the battlefield was moving slightly away. Everyone was going deeper into the wilderness. He didn’t know if it was happening naturally.

He still had doubts, but he decided to go and check for himself. The next second, he rushed toward the battlefront.

When he got closer to the area, he saw the chaos. The corpses of Beast Tamers were everywhere. When he checked their strength, he found they were Tier-4 Beast Tamers.

There was a corpse of a Tier-5 Lizard next to them. It was dead; it appeared they had killed it before they died.
