The Three Lords were unwilling. But they communicated with their Lifeline beasts. They had inflicted damage on the Black Centipede.

The Beast needed recovery. It won’t be able to attack the city again. At least, the city would be safe for a few months.

Three of them then returned to the gathering point. An old lady with a healing ability was waiting for them at the gathering point.

When they got there, they saw the old lady with the healing ability. They immediately appeared before her and started talking about the fight.

The old lady with the healing ability had been observing the fight earlier.

She knew that their Lifeline beasts had faced poison attacks. She told them to release their Lifeline beasts.

Boom!

The Three Lords released their Lifeline beasts. The next moment, the great white sparrow, the green anaconda, and the Black Ape appeared.

Three of the Lifeline beasts were dizzy. The white sparrow didn’t fly in the air; it quietly landed on the ground.

The green anaconda had black dots.

The Black Ape was standing on the ground with crossed arms. It was doing better compared to the other beasts.

Boom!

The old lady released her Lifeline beast. A towering, tall plant-type beast appeared on the ground. The plant immediately used its roots to treat the Lifeline beasts.

The plant Lifeline beast used its ability to heal the three of them.

Because of the four Tier-9 Beasts’ presence, no other beasts were in the vicinity. Those who felt the coercion fled from the place.

So the border area had become quiet. No other corrupted beasts were crossing the border from the unexplored region.

Meanwhile,

Governors Martin and Orion were in the wilderness. They saw four Tier-9 Beasts at the border. Their massive size couldn’t be hidden.

Both the governors sighed in relief. They understood that the problem had come to an end.

Martin’s eyes filled with relief. The Tier-9 Beast which had been terrorizing them was no more.

They hadn’t heard anything from the lords, but they assumed it themselves. Because the lords had come here to kill the beast.

So they assumed they must have killed the Tier-9 Beast. Not only them, but the other Heads saw through the situation as well.

They were happy that the battle had come to an end. They didn’t have to worry anymore.

The Dean of the Central University, the Head of the Beast Taming Association, and the Head of the Red Moon Chamber were present as well.

Head Harold was looking at the large sizes of the four Tier-9 Beasts. His eyes flickered. He knew the terror of a Tier-9 Beast.

He was a Tier-8 Beast Tamer. There was a one-tier gap between them, yet that one gap was massive. It could not be underestimated.

A Tier-9 Beast could easily kill Tier-8 Beast Tamers. He had been trying to break the shackle, but it was not easy to attain.

He knew that only if he became a Tier-9 Beast Tamer would it be easy to protect the human zones. It was because of the Tier-9 Beast Tamers that their human zones were saved.

Time passed.

The Tier-9 Black Centipede had found a good hiding spot. It was injured. Right now, it doesn’t have resources for recovery.

On the back of its body, the thick scales were cracked. Some of the areas were riddled with small holes. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

It was due to the attacks from the white sparrow’s air bullets. On the other hand, other parts of the scales had wider cracks.

The cracks were the result of the fist attacks from the Black Ape. It had done some damage. Because of it, the internal organs were hurt.

There was also an injury caused by the green anaconda. Because of its coiling move, the tail end of the centipede was hurt.

That’s why the Black Centipede had made a last effort to escape from the place.

On the other hand, the Beast Tamer Samuel returned to the unexplored region. Since he had contracted with the Tier-9 Black Centipede, he could locate the beast.

When Samuel entered the deepest area of the unexplored region, he was shocked. Because he realized that the Centipede was hurt.

He had tried to withstand the backlash, yet he was hurt. Because of it, he was delayed. Otherwise, he would have reached there faster earlier.

Two hours later,

He reached the core area of the unexplored region. Soon, he reached the area of the Tier-9 Black Centipede.

When he appeared before the beast, he saw the condition of the beast was worse. The Tier-9 Black Centipede was relaxed.

Samuel didn’t ask anything. He first collected the beast into his mental zone. Then he began to communicate with the Lifeline beast.

He wanted to know what happened. He wanted to know what injured the Black Centipede. The beast communicated with him and shared all the information.

A few minutes later,

Samuel’s eyes gleamed with a twinkle. He didn’t expect powerful combatants to come. He had heard about them.

They were in the top rankings. If not for the Black Centipede’s poison ability, the beast wouldn’t have had a chance to create an opening to escape.

He was glad that the beast was safe. If the beast were dead or had suffered a life-threatening injury, then the backlash would have been so severe that he didn’t want to imagine it.

Samuel then dropped the plan to continue with the attack on a city. He was successful in the mission. If not for the beast’s injury, he would have ordered the Black Centipede to trouble the city continuously.

But this time, the beast was so close to exposing itself. So he decided to stop the attacks on the human city. If he got further orders from the higher-ups, he would attack.

Samuel then left the place.

Meanwhile,

The three Lords saw that their Lifeline beasts were doing well. The poison was cured by the plant beast. Fortunately, the old lady Monaca was here.

Otherwise, they wouldn’t have known the consequences.

"Lord Monaca, thanks for the help," the middle-aged woman said.

The other two men thanked her as well. Healing Tier-9 Beast Tamers were important people in the human alliance.

They didn’t dare to show any disrespect.

Old lady Monaca nodded to them.

"Do you think it will come back?" she asked.

The three lords looked at each other.

"The beast is terribly injured. It won’t dare to come back," the woman said.
