Once they were done with the gifts, Jason finally took Hesabeth and introduced her to Janet and the others. Francis and Juliet also came back inside, and they greeted Hesabeth with the respect she deserved as a Queen. Now that Hesabeth was no longer talking to her mother-in-law, her usual prideful attitude came back with full force, and she only gave Janet a hug while nodding towards both Francis and Juliet. As far as Hesabeth was concerned, the only people she truly cared for were those who were directly related to her husband. Everyone else was secondary.

After the greeting, the group was ushered towards one of the largest tables in the restaurant, and Stella appeared from inside the kitchen a few seconds later with the food she had been preparing. Jason wasn’t surprised to see Stella here, since Jason knew that Stella had come back earlier to prepare his house for him. Stella bowed to the table, and she introduced herself as Jason’s personal servant once again before she began to serve the food to everyone.

"What a strange cuisine. I’ve never had something like this before."

Hesabeth muttered this as she looked down at the spaghetti that Mira had made. Gina told Hesabeth to try it with a smile, and Mira laughed softly when Hesabeth’s eyes lit up on the first bite.

"Oh my. It’s splendid!"

Jason chuckled as the girls entered into conversation about the food from different worlds, and Jason turned as Riyla slipped some meatballs from her spaghetti into his plate. Jason leaned over and kissed Riyala on the cheek, and Riyala ducked her head as her cheeks turned red. The table was very lively for a long time, and even though Jason knew that there were a lot of people he had to face very soon, Jason decided to ignore all of them and simply enjoy the moment with his family.

"What in the world is the meaning of this!?"

Within a large meeting room with multiple rows of chairs facing a large stage, the Supreme Leader of North Korea screamed in anger as he was suddenly thrown into a seat beside the president of Russia! The supreme leader turned to glare at the Legion subordinate who had put him in the chair, and he was shocked when the Legion subordinate simply vanished into the shadows! The supreme leader had been in bed with one of his wives when he had suddenly been dragged out of his room and brought here, and even now, the supreme leader still didn’t know what was really going on! The Supreme Leader looked around the room angrily, and he felt his eyes widen in shock as he realised that he was not the only major leader in the room!

Sitting right beside him was the president of one of his rival states, Russia, and two rows in front of him was the president of South Korea! The Supreme Leader sneered angrily once he saw the South Korean president, and he quickly turned away to see that the president of the United States was also there! The US president was a middle-aged, wise-looking man with grey and black hair named Ronald Strauss, and the supreme leader felt an intense anger filling his heart once he laid eyes on Ronald! America and North Korea had not seen eye to eye in quite some time, and the supreme leader couldn’t control his anger while seeing so many rival rulers sitting right in front of him like this! But the supreme leader took his time and really looked around the room to see who else was there, and he realised that someone had abducted every single major leader of the world! There were major leaders of countries from every single continent, as well as Guild leaders from the largest guilds, and the heads of the SMD and the Enforcers! The speaker of the United Nations was also there, as well as the supreme judge of the International Court of Justice and many other international bodies!

The supreme leader was even shocked to see the heads of some secret organisations that only the highest authorities were supposed to know about! Cerci, the leader of Gaia, was sitting in a chair close to the front with an air of annoyance around him! Gaia was an organisation that handled extraterrestrial invaders, and the supreme Leader knew that the number of outsiders who knew about Gaia could be counted on one hand! But there were also other leaders, such as the woman who was in charge of the Black Market Guild, an underground guild that handled all forms of assassinations and dirty business, Victoria Sanchez. Victoria was a beautiful woman with short purple hair and a wicked glare that would terrify most people. She was an unregistered S Rank that did most of her business outside the law, and even though there were many upper-class citizens who knew about her dirty business, none of them had done anything about it since most of them had used her once or twice to carry out operations that would be seen as ’immoral’ by the rest of the world!

Victoria was currently glaring at a tall man with cybernetic implants that made him look like something straight out of a sci-fi movie! The supreme leader easily identified this man as a Machina, and the supreme leader knew that Victoria’s glare was pointless since the Machina didn’t seem to care at all!

"Does no one have any idea where this is?"

Someone at the side suddenly spoke up, and the supreme leader immediately recognized her as the current Prime Minister of Japan. From the way she was dressed, it looked like she had been in the middle of dinner and someone had simply dragged her out. Surprisingly, the Supreme Leader was able to hear the Prime Minister’s words in Korean even though he knew that she had been speaking Japanese! How in the world was that possible? The supreme leader had never heard of any form of magic that could do something like that!

’Is there a whisperstone somewhere around here?’

Somewhere at the back of the hall, Azrael and Vana, the two best rune crafters in the Legion, were looking over a large rune sequence that they had carved into the building wall. This rune was similar to the rune that Jason had seen in the Stone Catacombs a long time ago, and its purpose was to allow everyone within a certain area to hear and understand whatever was said in their own language! The rune from the stone catacombs was far more complex, and it had a permanent sequence carved into it as well as other sequences that allowed it to cover such a large space. But the rune that Azrael and Vana had crafted was only a smaller version of that rune since it was meant to only handle this small room! There were more than two hundred people in the room currently, and they were all from different parts of the world, but Azrael was certain that they would be able to understand each other easily!

"You there, aren’t you the leader of the Superhumans Agency in France? I thought you had enough power to pull down an island. You should be strong enough to get us out of here."

"In fact, all the superhumans here are just useless! Why are none of you doing anything!?"

"I pay multiple superhuman taxes exactly because of situations like these! I’ve given you millions to risk your life so I don’t have to! Get up and fight!"

The murmuring in the hall began to grow as the leaders all wondered where they were, and it was obvious that things were starting to get heated as the regular humans began asking the superhumans to do something about the situation, but the superhumans simply looked away and stayed silent!
