The superhumans simply looked away and stayed silent! The humans wouldn’t understand how dangerous the current situation was because they couldn’t really feel mana! But for the superhumans, what they were in right now was no different from hell itself! The mana signatures that the superhumans could feel from Jason’s subordinates were multiple times more powerful than anything they had ever felt before! Even if every superhuman here joined forces to fight, it would still take only one of Jason’s subordinates to put all of them down! How did the regular humans think the superhumans could win? The superhumans had also been kidnapped, and there was nothing the superhumans could do about it either! The tension in the room continued to rise as the non-superhumans demanded answers, but before things could get any more rowdy, the Legion members that were standing around made themselves known by pulsing their magic to keep the people in check!

The pressure that suddenly washed over the room shocked everyone into silence, and they all sat down slowly while looking around at all the Legion subordinates with wide eyes! The leaders here had all met extremely powerful people before, but this was the first time they would ever feel power like this! Just one of those subordinates had enough power to be seen as an SSS Rank, and that meant that they were stronger than the most powerful man in the world, Yulev Stragga!

Yulev Stragga was actually sitting a few rows to the left of the Supreme Leader of North Korea, and Stragga could feel a sweat going down his spine as an extremely powerful Legion subordinate stood right beside him imposingly! The former Sovereign leader of Radagan was the same one who had abducted Stragga from his home earlier, and Stragga knew just from feeling the Sovereign’s mana that there was nothing he could do against an opponent like this! The Sovereign was far more powerful than Stragga, and Stragga had no choice but to sit and wait for whatever was about to happen!

"So how long are we expected to wait for whoever is responsible for this? Is this some sort of power play that they are using to make us terrified of them?"

The president of South Africa spoke up with a frown on his face, and the Canadian president spoke up in response.

"I think it’s pretty obvious who it is that’s behind this. My intelligence agency reported the return of a certain man no more than one hour ago, and within that same hour, I was abducted and brought here. I don’t think that is a coincidence."

A wave of silence passed over the group, and none of them could say anything to counter what the Canadian president had just put forward! There was only one man who not only had the means and power, but also the audacity to kidnap so many heads of state at the same time! Jason Marc. All eyes in the room slowly turned towards the group of leaders that had been brought over from America. The President of America was sitting together with the head of the American Superhumans Management Department, as well as the Chief Commander of the Enforcers! Even though it was obvious that these three men had also been abducted just like the rest of them, the three men were also the ones who governed the state where Jason was from, so it was obvious that the other leaders would expect them to have some explanation for what was going on!

"We’re just as confused as the rest of you regarding this situation. Asking us for an explanation isn’t going to help anybody."

The president of the US suddenly spoke up, but the president of Russia was obviously not having any of it as he spoke up in an angry tone!

"What do you mean you have no idea what is going on!? This is your citizen! Someone who grew and fought within your own country! You’re meant to be responsible for keeping him on a leash! This is why I always say that Americans have far too much freedom! Allowing that man to do whatever he wanted was no different from throwing a nuclear bomb into the world without any supervision!"

"I suppose your idea of keeping him on a leash would be capturing him to run experiments in secret. Unlike you, we actually care about our citizens!"

The American president turned to glare at the Russian president, and the Russian president narrowed his eyes in anger! The Russian president didn’t think there was anyone who knew about the secret experiments Russia had been carrying out on its strongest superhumans to try to raise their power level! How in the world did the Americans find out about them? Well, it didn’t matter. The experiments were already starting to bear fruit, but the Russian president couldn’t risk revealing too much here! The Russian president ignored what the American President said as he spoke up again!

"Well, look where your care has led us to. We’ve been abducted, and we are now at the mercy of a power far beyond our control! A power that you could’ve dealt with right from the start if you had simply put limits on his freedom!"

The American president clicked his tongue and turned away since he didn’t see the point of arguing about how to run his own country with the Russian president, but his attention was drawn once again as the Prime Minister of Japan spoke up.

"Regardless of how much freedom you believe your citizens should have, it is still a great oversight that one of your own citizens became dangerous enough to do something like this. For all we know, this Jason Marc could be a madman hell-bent on world domination. He could have brought us all here to have us killed."

The Chief Commander of the Enforcers spoke up while motioning to the multiple powerful Legion subordinates around.

"If Jason Marc wished to kill us, I believe we would be dead already. It is quite obvious that this is something else. For the past few months, Jason Marc has been away from Earth. When he left, he was nowhere strong enough to do something like this, so we saw no reason to limit his movement since we believed we could stop him if he went too far. But now, it is obvious that he has gained incomprehensible power from his journey. Blaming us for his power is unreasonable since it happened outside our scope of influence."

"You say that even in such a situation? If it had been a citizen from any of our countries, would you be able to sit there and remove the blame from us just as easily?"

The Japanese Prime Minister was obviously not happy about the Chief Commander’s words, and the Chief Commander actually fell silent as he realised that the Prime Minister was right. If Jason had come from any other country, then the Americans would have blamed them for not keeping a tight leash on Jason as well! But the other countries just didn’t get it! Even before Jason left Earth a few months ago, he had already become a force to be reckoned with. Trying to make an enemy of a man like that was the height of foolishness! The Chief Commander, as well as many other high-ranking superhumans, had known about Jason’s father Richard and the power that he possessed. They all knew that Richard was a good man, and they understood that Jason took after his father in the best of ways, so they believed they didn’t need to involve themselves in Jason’s life until now. And besides, no one wanted to touch the family of a man who was said to be stronger than the Primordials. If they had done anything to Jason, then they knew Richard would not overlook it!
