Surviving in the Beast World with a System
Chapter 303: The Entire Process From Nothing to Something
Later, he would also have Yue check him, as well as the Beastman Warriors who had followed him.
It would be a disaster if they had Poisonous Insects on them and brought them back to the tribe.
Evidently, the Lion Witch beside him had the same idea. He looked directly at the Snow Tiger Witch and said, "When that young female gets back, have her check the Beastman Warriors of our Lion Tribe, and me too, of course."
He then stood up, walked over to the pot of chili water, and dipped his finger in. "So this is the potion that can kill the Poisonous Insects?"
With that said, he wiped his dripping finger on the Beast Skin covering his chest.
But the moment his finger touched the garment, he felt a sharp bite. The pain was excruciating.
The sharp pain made him instinctively pull his finger back with a pained hiss.
A moment later, he had a front-row seat to the entire process of an ugly insect materializing out of nowhere on his finger...
Seeing this, the other three witches all scooted away, putting some distance between themselves and the Lion Witch.
"So... I do have one on me..."
The Lion Witch stared in disbelief at the Poisonous Insect on his finger. It writhed for a moment before going stiff, and he felt his stomach turn.
Then, a peculiar glint appeared in his eyes as he looked at the Black Wolf Witch. "What are you still sitting there for? You don’t actually think you’re clean, do you?"
The Snow Tiger Witch and the Flying Eagle Witch shot up and scurried to the very back of the cave.
They even helpfully tossed out two branches. "Use these to dip in the potion and splash it on each other. We can talk after you’ve dealt with the insects."
Seeing their disdainful expressions, the two witches desperately wanted to rush over and grind their feet into their faces.
’How the hell do you think we got these damn Poisonous Insects in the first place? Don’t you two have any goddamn clue?’
But after a moment of silent cursing, the two picked up the branches the Snow Tiger Witch had tossed them.
They exchanged a glance and swallowed hard. After all, even witches were just more powerful Pure Humans.
And that Poisonous Insect was just plain terrifying to look at.
"Don’t be a wimp, just do it!"
"Exactly! We’ve lived this long. What’s there to be afraid of? Let’s go!"
Black Wolf Witch: "..."
Snow Tiger Witch: "..."
’Those two bastards are so smug,’ they thought. ’I’d love to just shake these Poisonous Insects all over them.’
And that’s the danger of a sudden stroke of inspiration...
The two witches exchanged a glance, let out a round of creepy laughter in unison, and then sauntered toward the Snow Tiger Witch and the Flying Eagle Witch.
"We’ve known each other for hundreds of years. At a time like this, shouldn’t we be killing these insects with the potion together?"
The Half beastman Warrior guarding the cave let out a stealthy yawn. But before he could even finish, a furious roar erupted from the cave behind him—it was his own witch and the Flying Eagle Witch. Their yells were accompanied by the smug, triumphant laughter of the Black Wolf Witch and the Lion Witch.
The Half beastman Warrior’s curiosity was piqued. He got ready to charge in, but the call from his witch never came.
He couldn’t help but sigh in disappointment. ’It’s so hard to get some juicy gossip on the witches these days...’
After the four in the cave finished de-bugging one another, the Lion Witch was naturally roped into service.
Staring at the three eagle eggs before him, the Lion Witch looked at the Flying Eagle Witch in disbelief. "So you’re telling me you bastard called me back just to inject my witch power into these three eggs?"
The Flying Eagle Witch nodded. "I want to see if an injection of witch power can save these little ones. My own witch power is full of toxins, so it’s useless."
