Drork was an overlord that looked like an orc, massive body, pointy ears, and yellow fur that covered his whole body. Instead of an ax, though, he had some spike gauntlets. After looking at Luke, he assumed that he was just a weakling and tried to punch him and his ax away. However, Luke’s strike sent him away to the back of the monster’s army. That didn’t make any sense. The difference in power level was too much for him to be able to win that dispute... That overlord was supposed to be at least two times stronger than him... And yet, Luke showed a power that went beyond his parameters, maybe it was due to a skill, but he couldn’t see such an activated skill yet... something was off. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Regardless, because of the jump, Luke also ended up landing beyond the enemy’s lines. Despite that, no monster moved to attack him. He assumed that Drork was controlling them to prevent that.

"Their numbers... They don’t have that many on the backline, but some monsters are coming from behind and joining them," Luke thought.

Things were more or less how Luke had expected, but he didn’t have any more time to think about that because Drork appeared and dashed toward him. Without Rina’s support spells, Luke couldn’t see him move at all. However, he moved his ax and blocked the right straight that was aimed at his face. He was pushed backward for dozens of meters, and while he felt his bones cracking, Luke blocked the strike. Still, he wondered why some cut marks appeared on his face and arms.

Before Luke could find an answer, Drork appeared above him and then tried to punch him again. This time, Luke decided to dodge, and he did so by using Stinger to the side. Thanks to that, the enemy’s claws only hit the ground, creating a twenty meters wide crater. Not only that, some slashes appeared around the crater as well that cut the ground.

"It must be the effects of his claws..." Luke thought.

"Luke, this enemy is dangerous..." Rina said. "A single punch can do this, imagine if he uses some sort of skill..."

"Don’t interfere," Luke said.

"But..." Rina insisted.

"I did things the way you wanted on your home planet and I am doing things the way Shalia wants here," Luke said. "However, I won’t allow any of you to control me anymore than that."

Rina could only nod silently. Luke wasn’t exactly someone who worked in groups, but he endured the times he couldn’t do that because of his friends. At least in moments like this, he could do the things he wanted, even if it was unreasonable.

Drork charged again, and since the distance between them was small, Luke barely saw him moving. Still, he used Stinger while pointing his ax toward the enemy. Drork opened his eyes widely, but he still reacted on time to twist his neck a little and dodge the attack. Still, that movement made him lose his balance, and his claws only cut the external side of Luke’s left shoulder. That had been enough to make a lot of blood gush from the wound and open small cuts again... Despite the fact that Luke had his armor that was supposed to block those cuts...

Drork prepared to punch Luke with his left hand, but then a lightning fell and then hit the enemy in full. Drork trembled during its duration, and Luke prepared to cut his neck, but he still managed to move his and block the strike aimed at his neck.

Luke clicked his tongue in annoyance since he almost went deaf by being so close to the impact. Regardless, Drork tried to kick Luke, but then he disappeared, and he appeared at his starting point. At the same time, Luke’s body healed, and he received the notification of a level up. That was one of the things that he was counting on... To be able to heal like that now and then while his followers were fighting.

"I can’t command them from here, but they should know what to do by themselves..." Luke thought.

Drork showed up again, and then he was welcomed by Luke’s Stinger. He easily sidestepped to the side and prepared a counter, but when Luke stopped moving. He disappeared again. In the next moment, Drork saw Luke almost hitting his neck, and he had to use all his strength to block that attack. That was a Troublesome combination with enemies that were fasted than Luke. By using Stinger, he could approach the target, but if he misses, he just has to use Checkpoint and try again soon after. Most enemies would find the second hit hard to dodge. He blocked the attack somewhat, but the ax still cut some of his neck. The enemy tried to kick Luke yet again, but he used Checkpoint.

"You fight like a coward," Drork said.

"And you complain like a moron," Luke said and then attacked again.

This time, Drork already knew what to expect, or so he thought. Luke stopped after using Stinger instead of using Checkpoint, and then he used Sonic Blade. At close range, even that overlord would suffer some damage, and so that happened since Luke fired a barrage of those. Still, he protect his face and vitals, only his arms suffered some scratches, and even those were closing quite fast.

"Here we go... Combo number three," Luke said and then used Stinger.

Drork blocked one of the attacks with one claw and then prepared to receive Luke with another punch on his second attack, but then Luke opened his mouth.

"HAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Luke used Roar.

Since the difference in level was too big, the shout only worked for a small fraction of a second. Still, it had been just enough to paralyze the enemy for a moment. Instead of preparing a big swing, Luke acted faster by using a water tornado and then lightning.
