Just as Luke had expected, the explosions caused by his attacks completely annihilated that group of wolves. Their parameters were quite fearsome, but they paled in front of Luke’s brute strength.

"A bit better, but still isn’t enough," Luke thought as he approached.

To summon a death knight, Luke needed a creature above level three hundred and five times more mana than usual. Also, he had a limit to how many of them he could have at the same time. The limit was his max Intelligence divided by ten. Luke had been neglecting that parameter lately, so he could only summon a little less than forty death knights. Still, it was better than nothing.

After checking the flux of mana from the area, Luke confirmed that the mana was coming from the direction the wolves came from. Even without a spell to camouflage the flying fortress, the overlord of that area should have an easy time keeping his place hidden. Against that kind of enemy, call him reckless, but Luke didn’t feel threatened, even when they clearly were stronger than him. That was because their strength was obtained after many years of hiding and choosing their adversaries carefully, Luke didn’t have the chance to do that, he had to defeat the enemies that got in his way.

In any case, when he completed his set of death knights, Luke let them do most of the fighting while he headed toward the core of mana in that area. Although they were all rounded, the death knights still were weaker than the wolves due to Necromancy level, so Luke had to summon more of them pretty often. Summoning more ordinary ones was an option, but they were too slow. Luke decided to do that only when he found the enemy fortress.

After several hours of running in that frozen area at night, Luke began to feel that his bones were freezing. The temperature was decreasing the more he headed North. Now and then, he had to stop and use Heat Field to make things more comfortable for him, but even that, only granted temporary relief. Still, Luke had to make those skills level up a bit anyway.

Since most towns were under the thick frozen snow, Luke had no idea where he was. However, he certainly wasn’t near the border between his home country and Canada. In any case, he found a massive snow mountain at noon of the next day, and since the visibility was so low and the temperature was even lower, he found the snow wolves leaving that place. The overlord probably assumed that no one would go that far north in order to find his base. He had assumed that it was beyond the power of humans to go that far... That would be the mistake that caused his downfall.

"I can’t sense the Mana Barrier active, so he using other types of magic to prevent the snow from entering his base," Luke thought.

Luke was starting to wonder if Rina and Shalia felt the same thing regarding mana. They always helped him find enemies and other things like crystals with their senses... Even though they didn’t have that skill on their list, they still could do half of what the skill granted. It was quite amazing... still, Luke shook those thoughts from his head. Thinking about them, his family and friends... It made him sad and depressed, and then angry. All of those emotions weren’t suited for someone who was on a battlefield.

"Before attacking it and forcing the enemy to come, I should buy some spears, just in case," Luke said and then did that and prepared a massive Earth Spear. "Hello, Motherfucker~ Come out and play~..."

Luke didn’t hold back this time, for all he could care, he wanted to destroy the enemy and his base together. The overlord might have some prisoners as well, but he couldn’t afford to waste time considering that. He had people to save and those people truly were important to him, more than strangers...

With those feelings fueling his strength, he attacked the base of the overlord. The massive power of the attack made all the snow covering the structure be blown away. At the same time, the frozen ground began to crack and fall apart even around the structure... and that was like ten kilometers wide and long... It seemed that Luke had the power to destroy a small town in a single strike now. Still, he assumed that he was at least ten times weaker than the thing that created that crater on the dark elves’ world.

Putting that aside, the structure began to tremble again after the whole thing was possible to be seen, but not thanks to Luke’s attack, but because something big and heavy was running on it. Eventually, a massive blue creature, that had red hair, and an ice club appeared while his head was emitting a lot of steam due to his anger.

"Even someone this stupid can hide their status... and I still can’t..." Luke Said and then sighed.

After grunting, as if he had understood Luke’s insult, the troll dashed toward Luke and swung its club. While he was five meters tall and his club was of the same size, he still was insanely fast. Luke barely had the chance to dodge it, even his instincts told him to move to the side and so he did it after using Stinger.

The club’s strike smashed the ground and made the entire tremble, while it hadn’t been as powerful as Luke’s attack, one had to praise the power of a single swing of a weapon, even without being strengthened by a skill. Still, even before the massive troll could turn around, Luke charged and made his right claw pierce the enemy’s neck.
