Both of them were wounded and both of them were using their left arms to pull the weapon, but Frank lost the dispute because the claw was still on his arm and the effort was only making the wound bigger. Eventually, Frank pulled away from the claw, but then saw the half-dead Luke holding his sword.

That was quite something, for someone that Luke had been so cautious about, he really ran at the first sight of trouble. Regardless, Luke kicked the ground and then grabbed sole ice stones before chasing Frank. If he wanted to die while showing his back to the enemy, Luke would grant his wish.

While running away, Frank used the shop to buy potions, but his health wasn’t even increasing past a point due to the wound in his right shoulder. To make things worse, his Mana shield began to consume a lot of mana, he looked behind and saw Luke firing stones that had the power of grenades. Without any other choice, Frank began to buy and use mana potions as well.

"He is heading to where I found him... he is probably trying to make me hesitate by making the others join the fight," Luke thought.

Luke had two options... crush him once and for all by using Weapon Augmentation at a higher level or wound his other arm as well doing the same thing he did before when he surprised Frank. In the end, Luke’s pride got in the way again and he activated Concentrated Strike.

A shrive rained down on Frank’s back when he felt that Luke was plotting something again, he also stopped attacking, so that was clear. Frank sped up in his attempt to escape. He knew that he was faster than Luke, but he didn’t know that Stinger range would increase with more mana Luke would use. It took only thirty seconds, and then the bones of Luke’s left arm began to crack like twigs, Concentrated Strike could do that after a while since the skill leveled up a lot in the last attempt.

At the same time, his left claw hit and pierced the left side of Frank’s back and eventually reached the other side crushing his heart along the way.
