The Billionaire's Revenge Wife
Chapter 35: Sparring Day
Shivers ran down his spine and even with the cool AC, beads of sweats were already starting to fall off his face.
When he didn’t say anything, Arianna twisted his hand even tighter, forcing him to scream out in pain.
"I’m talking to you, Logan. Can’t you talk anymore?" She demanded.
Then with one swift movement, she kicked him on his butt then his face planted on the wall against him.
"I don’t even have much to say to you, but I’ll say this," she said, walking closer to him. "Keep your hands to yourself, else, I’m going to make sure you end up with no arms."
He might think she was joking and that she couldn’t go that far but she was, at least, Cassian was willing to go that far.
She knew that the moment she dropped Logan in their dungeon, both Cassian and Josephine will play with his body parts until they’ve both gotten their fill.
As for Nicholas, they still weren’t talking. She’d called him earlier but he didn’t respond.
Arianna shook her head, taking Nicholas out of her mind. He’ll come along one day.
"I’ll let you enjoy everything while you still can, but if you believe you can treat however you want and think I’ll let you walk away freely, then you’re solely mistaken, Logan."
With a kick to the knees, he dropped to the floor.
Arianna glared at him before she turned her back and left.
Outside the company, Arianna took a breath, trying to hold off her anger.
Earlier, she’d wanted to hurt Logan. She’d wanted to beat him up until he looked unrecognizable.
For the first time, she’d wanted to release all her pent up rage on him, but once again, she had to stop herself.
Arianna’s fists were tightened, disappointed in herself.
She opened her phone, ready to call Josephine for a casual spar day when a notification suddenly popped up on her screen.
It was a picture of Vivian collecting an award on stage.
It was the Best Model Award which was always given at the end of the year.
Since Vivian was a model, and a good one at that, it was no surprise that she’d gotten it.
In fact, she always got it but Arianna was the one who’d helped her along the way.
Both Logan and Vivian, she’d helped them both grow their careers only for them to discard her like she was a toy they were done using.
Arianna swung past the app and searched for Josephine’s number in her phone.
"Wanna spar?" She asked at the first ring.
A few minutes later, both Arianna and Josephine were both in a ring.
"Seriously now, who pissed you off?" Josephine asked, cracking her knuckles and getting herself ready.
Arianna did the same, raising her arm upward to stretch her muscles. "Logan."
Josephine paused. "Oh boy."
Arianna didn’t say anything else before she charged at Josephine, her legs reaching and kicking her in the abdomen.
Josephine tumbled back, but quickly held herself before she could fall to the ground.
If she did, Arianna would straddle her, leaving her with no opportunity to escape.
"He tried to hit me again. That bastard!" She cursed as she charged at Josephine once again, but the latter countered her attacks.
Josephine wanted to involve herself in the conversation, but the speed at which Arianna was coming at her made it difficult to understand anything that came out of her mouth.
While the two women were busy sparring, literally pulling each other bones and teeth out, the men dared not to get close.
They watched them with horror.
Both Josephine and Arianna weren’t the type of women you would describe as petite and fragile, but they looked beautiful and feminine enough to attract the attention of the men around.
Earlier, a few of them had been checking them out, hoping to go home with one of them later tonight.
But seeing them throwing punches at each other got them backing off by five feet and just watch in horror.
"Hey! Who are the women up there?" A man asked, tapping another on the shoulder.
"I don’t know them. They just appeared and asked if they could borrow our rings for a few minutes."
Frederick frowned slightly before his gaze returned to the ring. He watched for a few seconds until he recognized one of them.
’Sister in law?’ He thought.
His eyebrows creased in confusion, hoping he was mistaken.
Arianna couldn’t be up there fighting.
However, the woman up there really looked like her. And the other woman looked like someone he knew.
"Sister in law!!" He screamed, running into the ring.
The boxers who punched tried to stop him but he shoved them away.
"Sister in law!!" He called once again but Arianna and Josephine were already deep into their spar that they didn’t pay attention to their surroundings.
Upon reaching them, Frederick quickly got in between them in order to tear them apart.
"What’s wrong with the both of you? Have you lost it? I understand that sisters can have an issue with one another, but that doesn’t mean that you have to tear each other’s necks off."
"What’s this idiot saying?" Josephine questioned, glaring at Frederick who’d just interrupted them.
"Did you just call me an idiot?" Frederick asked, clearly offended.
"Excuse us," Arianna said.
"No! Your faces are already starting to bleed and you want me to stop so you can continue to fight?" He asked, genuinely confused.
’I thought they were close. What could have happened to make them hit each other to this extent?’ He wondered.
"If you guys don’t stop, I’ll call Daemon," he threatened.
Arianna glared at him, but she couldn’t bring herself to care what daemon will think or not.
On the other hand, Josephine was done listening to him.
She lifted him up, stunning him completely and threw him out of the ring.
"Stay there if you don’t want to get beaten up!" She threatened with a look that made him believe her.
She just lifted him up so easily as if she lifted people on a normal day.
From her physique, she was definitely smaller than him but she managed to lift a 90kg 6’3 man.
He was baffled, utterly speechless even.
The same man from earlier reached out and helped him up. "See, I told you not to go."
Frederick got to his feet and patted his butt.
"How long have they been at it?" He asked.
"About twenty minutes."
Frederick’s jaws dropped.
Without wasting a moment, he reached out for his phone and put Daemon on a call immediately.
"You need to get here fast!"
Twenty minutes later, Josephine had her legs around Arianna’s neck in a chokehold with her legs.
"Aren’t you going to tap out, sis? Don’t be stubborn now." Josephine held a grin on her lips while Arianna struggled to get free.
Arianna’s head had turned blue but she was still being too stubborn.
Frederick watched in horror.
He was tempted to step inside, but the fear of getting throw away like he weighed nothing stopped him.
He still couldn’t believe how strong Josephine was to throw him away so easily and keep her sister in a chokehold.
"Daemon, where are you?" He mumbled, glancing around.
Then all of a sudden, a man stepped into the ring, hickory separating the two women.
Arianna coughed as she fed on oxygen as if she’d been deprived of it for years.
"What’s wrong with you?" Daemon questioned, his voice thundering over the whole gym. "You were about to kill your sister!"
"But I didn’t!" Josephine yelled back at him. Then her gaze landed on Arianna. "She’s completely fine."
"Are you being serious? Her face had gone blue. She was so close to losing consciousness."
"And how’s that my fault?! She was the one who refused to tap out." Then she hissed, clearly irritated. "What’s with you Langford brothers? Can’t you just leave us to spar in peace?"
Confusion painted Daemon’s face.
"Spar?"
He turned to Arianna who was already glaring at him with so much rage in her eyes.
"Get out!" He blinked at the blood stained face. "I said get out!" She pushed him but Daemon didn’t move an inch.
"You two were sparring?" Frederick asked, confusion also evident in his face. "You were about to kill your sister and you call that sparring?"
"How about you come in here and I teach you how we do it?" She bit back.
Frederick quickly took a step back, quickly recalling how she’d thrown him away twenty minutes ago.
"You can’t spar with your sister," Daemon said, glaring at Arianna.
Both women had blood on their faces, his wife had been so close to passing out and yet, they wanted to continue.
"In that case," Arianna said, her narrowing at him. "I’ll spar you."
Frederick turned his head so fast at her, the muscles cracked.
"Get yourself ready, Daemon," Arianna said before walking away to wash her face.
