The Billionaire's Revenge Wife
Chapter 36: Beat Me Up
"Get yourself ready, Daemon," Arianna said before walking away to wash her face.
Daemon stared at Arianna’s back as if she had gone mad.
She looked up at with so much defiance he was tempted to agree to sparring with her but it was a stupid thought to have.
She didn’t even wait for an answer before she walked off, as if he had no say, no choice to object and just did whatever she wanted him to.
Well, not like he plans on refusing any of her requests in the future. Even if she wanted him to lay down his life for her, he would gladly do so without even thinking.
But still....
Daemon shook his head, hoping to wake up from the stupid dream he was having. But even after opening his eyes, he would still find himself in the ring with Josephine glaring at him as if he’d just stolen her kill.
Just like Arianna, she had blood all over her face which meant that Arianna had also gotten her good just as she’d gotten her.
He revealed a proud smirk.
’That’s my girl.’
"Aren’t you going to change? She’ll be back soon," Josephine said, disrupting his thoughts.
Daemon shook his head. "I’m not fighting her. Are you two crazy?"
Josephine glanced between Frederick who quickly hid behind Daemon in fear, her eyes lingering on him for a second too long, sending chills down his spine.
"Alright, I’ll leave you to Arianna. But I want him," she pointed at Frederick, whose eyes widened as if they were about to pop right out their sockets.
He shook his head vigorously, fear clearly evident in his face.
"No! I don’t want to spar with you."
Josephine scoffed with a corner of her lips perked up. "I wasn’t asking, you fool. This is a payback for interrupting my session with Arianna earlier. You’re going to pay for that."
Frederick’s heart fell to his feet as he tried to completely shield his body behind Daemon.
Unfortunately for him, he was almost as big as Daemon, so he could barely hide himself.
Josephine reached out for him while his eyes quickly moved to Daemon, pleading with his eyes.
Daemon gave him a quick once over before tearing his gaze from him as if he didn’t matter.
"Brother!" Frederick cried as Josephine pushed him down the ring, pulled him like a rag doll
to another ring.
"Stop yelling brother!!" She snapped, her eyes filled with rage. "Get yourself ready."
That was the only thing Daemon said before he took his gaze off of them.
Frederick was a big guy, much bigger than Josephine. So, he believed there was no way she would be able to land a hit on him. Unless he wanted her to.
His eyes brows furrowed slightly at that thought before he turned his head to look at them, only to find Frederick doing as he was told, wearing some punching gloves.
If only he knew Josephine had just thrown him off the ring like he weighed nothing.
"I told you to get ready," he heard Arianna’s stern voice say to him. He turned to find her glaring at his suit. "Do you plan on fighting in that?"
"We’re not fighting, Arianna," he said, deadpan. "Have you gone crazy?"
"Well, maybe you should have thought of that before you interrupted my session with Josephine."
Daemon’s lips thinned.
He knew the Wesley’s were twisted, but not twisted up to this point. The daughters sparred against each other, and from the blood on their faces, it was obvious they didn’t hold back at all.
"Arianna—"
Daemon’s words were cut short when he suddenly saw her legs flying to his face. He didn’t have the time to react because the next second, the leg connected with his face, sending him stumbling back a few feet away from her.
Dumbfounded, he touched his nose, only to feel a wet liquid dripping out of his nostrils. He stared at the blood on his hand in shock, even more dumbfounded now.
He looked up at Arianna with a proud look.
She’d gotten him when he was slightly distracted. Her kicks were strong, considering her legs didn’t look like it.
She was only 5’8 and weighed lighter than she should. Come to think of it, she looked smaller than two months ago.
He didn’t have a good feeling about this.
While in his thoughts, Arianna took the opportunity and aimed for his head.
Unfortunately for her, he saw this coming.
With a swift movement, he caught her leg and pulled her closer until he was towering over her.
She stared at him with confusion evident on her face.
"Have you been eating, my love?" He asked, staring into her shocked blue eyes.
With gritted teeth, Arianna tried to yank her leg off his grip, but he held it tightly, held her tightly with a hand snaking at her hand, holding her still.
"You haven’t," he continued, inching closer, as if taking his time in scanning her appearance. "Your eyes look hollow, and you’ve lost a lot of weight."
"Shut up and focus on the fight!" Arianna snapped before she raised her other leg, directing a kick on his face which he didn’t bother to block.
He let her go, his hand coming to the side to hold his face.
Arianna gritted her teeth. "I don’t want you to go easy on me. Show me what you got, Daemon, or are you just going to let me beat you up?"
Daemon’s nose was still bleeding from the first kick, staining his suit.
Now, he was tempted. Very tempted.
"Aren’t you ashamed of letting a woman beat you up?" Arianna continued.
Daemon snickered.
If only she knew he didn’t care if he was beaten by the woman, as long as she was the woman. He would gladly let her use him as a punching bag.
That was how obsessed he was with her.
"Fight me, Daemon Langford."
Daemon’s eyes rose to meet hers, a grin pulling at the corners of his cheeks. "If that’s what you want, then I’ll gladly give it to you, my love."
