Chapter 131: 11.13 Reclaiming what’s wrongfully his

Bastian was waiting in front of the conference room for Shuo and Isaac. When they arrived he informed:

"A-Xuan is talking to attorney Wan, he said to wait for him here."

They nodded and looked at him weirdly. Bastian asked:

"What?"

Shuo approached and asked point-blank:

"Do you love A-Xuan or are you just playing with him?"

Bastian was a little surprised, but before he could speak Shuo threatened:

"He’s already been through a lot, so if you’re just playing with him, I’ll make sure you pay dearly."

"Who ended up on your kill list?"

A-Xuan smiled as he walked closer to them. Shuo narrowed his eyes and pointed at Bastian. A-Xuan looked at him and could see that he was completely lost.

He smiled.

"This is my best friend Shuo, he is a little protective."

Isaac laughed.

"Little? Nothing he does is little, not even threatening. You have to be subtle, that’s why vailed threats exist, I’ll show you."

Isaac looked at Bastian and said with a smile:

"I haven’t used my gun in a long time, I hope no one gives me the opportunity."

A-Xuan rolled his eyes at him. He looked at Bastian who besides being surprised in the beginning, was completely unfazed, he looked amused.

He isn’t surprised, he’s husband can deal with everything perfectly, except when he is involved.

A-Xuan pulled Shuo and Isaac, who glared at an amused Bastian and said before leaving:

"I’ll see you tonight."

Bastian smiled wider and nodded.

A-Xuan pulled the two clowns into the elevator and said:

"Are you two done?

"No, he needs to know what will happen to him if he messes with us."

After that, Shuo cracked his knuckles as if he were ready to fight. A-Xuan burst out laughing. Shuo is your typical scientist, except that he is even more fragile than them.

With his adorable face and petite stature you just want to protect him, so how is he going to mess up anyone?

A-Xuan shook his head.

"He won’t, and I trust him."

Shuo looked at A-Xuan assessing him and said finally:

"You trust him and I trust you, which means I trust him."

A-Xuan smiled and then looked at Isaac with a raised eyebrow.

"What he said."

He likes them a lot so, of course, he wants them to like Bastian too. They’re the ones by his side when he missed his husband, and he was in pain.

Things would’ve been so much harder without them and Leia.

"I’m happy you’re finally together."

"W-What?"

Shuo stuttered and looked at Isaac, his eyes were full of animosity. A-Xuan smiled:

"He didn’t tell me, I just guessed. About time."

Shuo looked down, and his face flashed. Isaac looked at him, his eyes were full of affection. A-Xuan couldn’t understand how they both were unable to see that they liked each other.

Darren got out of the car and entered his house. His mother said she had to see him again. Honestly, every time she calls on him, he’s worried.

But this time he has no reason, he dealt with Victoria and the blackmailer. He entered the living room.

"Mother."

Shengmei looked at him with cold eyes and handed him her cell phone. Darren took it and read the text she received from attorney Wan. He clenched his fist in rage.

She asked:

"What do you intend to do?"

"A-Xuan didn’t die, and he’s the owner of Song PharmaTech."

Shengmei looked at him wide-eyed. She yelled:

"How long were you planning on keeping that from me?"

"He only came back a few days ago and before dealing with him, I wanted to know who was backing him."

"He needs to die, even more now."

Darren sat on the table facing her, and he smirked.

"He needs to stay alive until we merged Wu Pharma with Song PharmaTech. When we do, he’ll die and both companies and his contract with Bloom Pto will be ours."

Shengmei smiled, she knew she didn’t raise him in vain.

"He will be easy to convince, you know how much he idolized Yunlian."

Darren said:

"I know I’ll take care of it."

"Good."

Darren smiled and left.

A-Xuan was in his office looking at the two speaking with a smile. He closed CF and smirked. His only problem has always been Shengmei. He knew he could easily pollute Darren, but Shengmei was another story.

The man who cut Yunlian’s brake is already in prison, and the fact that Darren and Shengmei are responsible can’t be proven. He blackmailed Darren, so he would have to take money from the company.

Darren only owns 30% of the shares, so he can’t make unanimous decisions. But he did because he was sure he would get the contract with Bloom Pto.

After receiving the money A-Xuan sent it to a private bank account in his name and just like that, Darren will be arrested for embezzlement.

He had to use Attorney Wan to take Shengmei down, plus like that he’ll take the two of them down in one go. What should I do with Victoria? Ever since Darren fired her, she locked herself in her room. At least she’s suffering right now.

A-Xuan CF again and made a phone call. 10 minutes later, someone knocked.

"Come in."

His assistant came in and asked:

"President Song, there’s a Darren Wu who would like to see you. He said he is your brother. Should I let him in?"

A-Xuan smirked.

"Sure."

The assistant left and came back with Darren.

He watched as she closed the door behind her after leaving.

Darren looked at A-Xuan’s office with envy.

His company building is already three times as big as Wu Pharma and his office is the same. It will be mine soon.

"Have a seat. Did you need to see me for something?"

Darren woke up from his reverie when A-Xuan spoke. He took a seat and studied him.

He doesn’t know what happened to him for 6 years and how he managed to build the company without any money.

He never took a cent out of his heritage, so where did he get the money? He won’t do business with him if it’s illegal.

He might do some illegal things, but never with his company.

"I just wanted to see how you were doing. Victoria told me that you didn’t die."

A-Xuan tilted his head and asked confused:

"That’s the thing, it is unclear to me why everyone thought I was dead. Do you know why?"

"Well you disappeared, and we couldn’t find you anywhere."

A-Xuan smirked and asked:

"If you just came to see how I was doing, I’m fine."

Darren could see that he seemed different. Still, he needs information before he gets his company.

"It must’ve been hard to find investors to build Song PharmaTech."

"It wasn’t, actually. I went to the best science school and university in B country, and I was always at the top of my class."

Darren asked:

"So you don’t own any share of the company?"

"I do, it’s my company, I built it from the ground up. Do you think I would give the shareholders power over my work? I own 65% of it."

Darren was shocked. Even he doesn’t have complete power when he is the president.

"How were you able to pay? You didn’t get father’s heritage."

"No, but I got my mother’s, that’s why I named the company after her."

Hearing that, Darren was excited, now he knows that his company is legit. He said sadly:

"I’m sorry I wasn’t there when father died. I was trying to take care of the company, you know how much he cared about it."

"Oh, so you knew how much it meant to him?"

Darren said:

"Of course, that’s why I couldn’t see you or our sisters."

"I understand brother."

Darren smiled back when A-Xuan smiled at him understandably. I knew that fool would be easy to manipulate.

"To be fair, you did see Victoria, you know due to you fucking her."

Darren gaped at A-Xuan and he smirked.

"What did you say?"

Darren must’ve misheard him, for sure. He’s probably making a joke or something.

"If you knew what the company meant to father, why did you do the opposite of what he wanted? He wanted to help people while you extort them."

Darren was taken aback, he answered:

"I would never run an illegal business."

"Doesn’t mean you won’t do illegal things like killing father and my mother, oh and trying to kill me."

Darren looked at him for a few seconds, then understood. He knew all along. He’s the one who’s been blackmailing him.

He looked at him with anger.

"How long have you known? Is that why you came back?"

A-Xuan tapped on his computer as he answered.

"I’ve known all along, but to take care of you I first had to become stronger. I will say you were excellent at not leaving any pieces of evidence."

Darren sneered:

"No matter what, the company will be mine and there’s nothing you can do to me."

A-Xuan leaned back and smiled.

"You’re right, but there’s plenty I can do to your mother, especially now that she’s in jail. How awful would it be if she died in a prison riot?"

A-Xuan turned the computer, showing him a live feed of his house. Darren pulled the computer and looked at it wide-eyed. He could see the police handcuffing her and leading her out. She was crying and yelling, she looked petrified.

Darren looked at him and yelled:

"What did you do to her?"

"What do you mean? I’ve been here with you the whole time."

"Just tell me what you want to make it stop."

A-Xuan laughed.

"There’s nothing you can do, and don’t even try to call attorney Wan for help, he was arrested too."

Darren looked down, his hands tightening into fists. He always did everything himself, so his mother would never get implicated.

He even put in place a plan in case he was caught, so she could leave peacefully with more than enough money. So, he couldn’t understand what crime A-Xuan could pin on her.

A-Xuan teased:

"Do you want to know what she’s in for?"

Darren looked up at him.

"The funny thing is that the person who helped you back then is the one responsible."

Darren frowned.

"Attorney Wan would never do that."

"He stole the USB flash drive with the will to give it to your mother. It’s a police station, so there are obviously cameras. I gave them a tip, and they searched your mother’s house and found it. She’ll spend a long time in prison for trying to destroy evidence."

Darren started to breathe loudly. How could his mother be this stupid, why would she get involved? He always told her to stay out.

Darren looked at A-Xuan incredulously when he said:

"Okay, I’m bored now get out. Don’t worry, I’ll deal with you once you see your mother die."

Before he could react, he was pulled out by two security guards. A-Xuan winked at Darren and went back to work. He linked his watch to the computer and smiled when he saw the will.

That transparent paper was his only way to remotely invade that USB flash drive. Even if he doesn’t intend to take over the company, he just wants to change the name and sell it.

Yunlian always said that he didn’t want his name associated with something he doesn’t believe in, so A-Xuan will make sure it’s not the case anymore. He can take down Darren now, but he wants him to see his mother die first.
