When A-Xuan opened his eyes, he was lying on a king-sized bed. He turned and looked at the gigantic and richly decorated space. He blinked to receive the world’s information.

This world is divided into two: humans and vampires. There was a war that lasted decades after the vampires made themselves known. They finally reached an agreement and signed a peace treaty.

The land was divided into two, and both vampires and humans would only listen to their ruler. The reason they couldn’t agree sooner is that vampires were a hierarchical society, and they would only listen to their king.

The king would never bow to humans since he was part of the original family. The original family was the first vampires, and every vampire that came after was their descendant.

After the king went into dark slumber, his first son Yan Wang became the ruler. Only the first son can become king. If something happens to him, they would choose the first son of the brother of the king, his cousin, as the new ruler.

Yan wang got hurt during the war with the humans, saving a lot of his descendants, and after signing the peace treaty, he fell into a bright slumber. While dark slumber is eternal, bright slumber is temporary.

After waking up from a bright slumber, the vampire would become stronger, but no one would know how long the slumber would last.

Yan Wang had been slumbering for 60 years, and during that time, his father’s brother Yan Hao had a son named Yan Ning. Yan Hao has always despised his father for putting in place the rule that only the first son can become king.

He despised his nephew Yan Wang even more for being the strongest vampire in the kingdom.

Everyone feared and worshiped him at the same time. They respected him even more when he hurt himself trying to save a lot of descendants. During his bright slumber, the council took all the decisions.

While the king is ruling, the council would be like advisors, and the final decision would always be the king’s. During his slumber, the council led by Yan Hao became greedy.

He could finally rule using the council as a shield. After Yan Wang was in slumber for more than 20 years, Yan Hao decided to have a son to make him the next king since he figured Yan Wang would never wake up.

Bright slumber would usually last 20 years at most. He had Yan Ning with his wife, Yan Lu, and had a bastard named Yan Xu with a prostitute.

After she gave birth to him, Yan Hao had her killed and brought Yan Xu to the palace. He told Yan Lu to act like she was his biological mother, and when he told her the reason why, she immediately approved.

The only reason Yan Xu was brought to that world was to be a siphon. Yang Hao wanted his son to be stronger than Yan Wang in case one day his slumber ended. The royal family is the strongest, so the siphon had to be of royal blood.

Yan Xu had no idea that every night while he slept, half of an amulet hidden under his mattress, connected to the other half in Yan Ning’s room, was transferring his essence to him.

Essence is the basis of every vampire’s power. When Yan Xu found the artifact, he confronted his father.

He finally understood why Yan Lu has always only cared about his brother and why his brother was the only one who had a place in the council.

The council was made up of Yan Hao, Yan Ning, four other ministers, and Yan Lo, who was Yan Wang’s little brother.

Second sons were allowed to join the council, but Yan Xu never took a seat in the council room. After he found out he was a siphon, his life was even more unfortunate.

He couldn’t set foot near the main palace anymore for fear of him telling the truth and was followed everywhere by two guards. His father told the whole kingdom that he was mentally unstable, that’s why he never left home.

After he was entirely siphoned, his father tossed him out of the kingdom without any money. He left to live with the humans but on the way, he was killed by a vampire.

He was an assassin sent by his brother who always hated him, with his father’s knowledge. Now that Yan Ning was stronger, Yan Hao decided that it was time to deal with Yan Wang.

Yan Wang’s bright slumber was in his imperial chambers. The room was sealed, and only a vampire as strong as Yan Wang could open it. But before that, you would need to pass through the guards.

Even after siphoning Yan Xu’s essence, Yan Ning was still not Yan Wang’s opponent. Instead of putting him in a dark slumber, father and son decided to wait until Yan Wang woke up from his bright slumber to kill him.

After a bright slumber, the vampire becomes stronger, but in the first 5 minutes, he is as weak as a Baby V. A Baby V is a newborn vampire who can be killed easily, even by a very strong human.

The guards were bought by Yan Hao, and the second his slumber ended, Yan Ning was informed and killed him. One of the guards took the fall to have his poor family thrive in the future, and Yan Ning was named king.

Father and son suppressed the council, and all the power was in their hands. Yan Ning was the strongest, so he ruled with an iron fist.

When A-Xuan received all the information, his eyes flashed with anger. To rule, they stole the original’s life, and before that, they couldn’t even give him a decent life. His life and death were miserable.

He got down from the bed and walked to the bathroom. He looked in the mirror, and his reflection showed a beautiful young man. He didn’t seem to be older than twenty, with the trademark gold eyes of the original royal family.

He had long phoenix eyes and thin eyebrows. His raven-black hair made his golden eyes shine like stars. The original is the only one in the royal family to have dark hair.

He carried an aquiline nose that complemented his distinguished cheekbones, and his lips seemed red as blood. "I like this body," A-Xuan smiled, and his eyes shined brighter.

The only person in the royal family that doesn’t have gold eyes is Yan Wang; his eyes are as blue as the sea. A-Xuan walked to his bed and lifted the mattress. He saw half of an amulet and put it on the bed.

He touched his interface and improved his physique and increased his essence. He picked up the amulet, closed his eyes, and concentrated for a few seconds.

When he was done, he put it back under the mattress and put on a cloak. He felt too lazy to take off his pajamas and put on clothes. He put his hood on and vanished.
