Yan Wang was sitting on the sill of a window, looking at the full moon. His blue eyes seemed to shine under the moon, making his gold hair seem clearer. He had a chiseled jawline and a straight nose.

Sitting here is the only thing he’s been doing for the past 60 years. He would never regret saving his descendants; he just wishes his spirit could leave this palace even if his body is in a bright slumber.

But with the seal protecting his body and essence, he can’t. He did it so he would be safe; he is the strongest vampire in the kingdom, after all.

He immediately looked at the doors when he heard a sound. He watched as they opened and closed on their own.

He thought that maybe he imagined it. He’s been so bored these past 60 years, so his mind must be playing tricks on him. He kept looking at the doors and turned to look at his body on the bed.

In the next second, a young man appeared out of thin air. He was shocked beyond words; the young man looked like a Baby V. How did he get through the guards and the seal?

He watched him approach his bed and gaze at his body curiously. His spirit floated to his side, looking at what he was up to. When he approached him, he didn’t feel a sense of darkness or any evil intent.

He watched as he sat on the edge of the bed, assessing him with a smile. Baby V, why are you smiling? Yan Wang listened as he said, after grabbing his hand: "You’re handsome."

Yan Wang involuntarily smiled and sat in front of him. He assessed him as he had and saw his golden eyes. He’s part of the originals. He put his translucent hand on his slumbering body and closed his eyes.

When he opened them, he was stunned. He could feel all the essence the Baby V was sending to his body to end his slumber. Why would he sacrifice himself for him?

It doesn’t make any sense; they don’t even know each other. He watched as Baby V pulled his cellphone, watching a movie while he made the transfer. He knows all about the new technology since he can move all over the palace.

After finding out way more than he wished, he stopped and never left his room again except to check on all the novelties of the period. He hasn’t seen anyone in 59 years since he would mostly roam the palace at night.

He sat next to Baby V all night, watching the movie with a hand on his sleeping body. He likes that for the first time in 60 years, he can feel something. He can feel a tingly sensation as his body receives the essence.

Every once in a while, he would turn to look at the curious Baby V. He thought after a while he would leave and realize that it would be stupid for him to sacrifice his life for a stranger, but he never moved.

He sat there all night, sending his essence, watching movie after movie. At dawn, the youth broke the connection and let go of his hand.

He smiled and said, before putting his hood on and disappearing: "I have to go. I’ll come back tomorrow night, I promise." Yan Wang watched as the doors opened and closed by themselves.

He looked at his resting body and left to sit on the window sill again. He couldn’t understand what happened. Even if they’re family, he has never met him, which means he was born during his bright slumber.

So why would he sacrifice his life for him? To wake him, he would have to transfer all of his essence, which would turn him into a human. Once you turn into a human, there’s no going back. He looked at the doors, feeling unsure.

After entering his chambers, A-Xuan took off the cloak and put it back in his private space in CF. He lifted the mattress to touch the amulet and smiled. Hopefully, Yan Ning will like the gift I’m sending him.

He put down his mattress and laid down. The only way to stop his dear brother and father is to make sure that they don’t find out he knows the truth.

They still need him until he’s siphoned, so during that time, A-Xuan will end Yan Wang’s bright slumber. The reason Yan Hao had to lock the original at home and buy the guards in front of the royal chambers is that he confronted him.

But A-Xuan will gladly play dumb. Yan Hao doesn’t care about him, so it will be easy.

While Father and son would be working with the council, the original would be out roaming the streets.

Descendants didn’t dare to approach him, and he couldn’t understand why. Turns out Yan Hao has been spreading rumors about his mental abilities ever since he was a kid, in case he ever finds out the truth.

Even when descendants would talk to him, he would only hear insults. After being tired of it, he would just lock himself in his room, and his food would be sent when he was hungry.

After trying for years to get close to his family, he gave up, so at home, he was pretty much always alone. Yan Hao thought the more isolated he is, the better since people won’t ask questions once he disappears.

A-Xuan woke up at noon and took a shower. He called for his lunch to be sent. He sat at the desk, using his computer. He linked it to his system, CF, so he can make money rapidly.

Yan Hao’s way of seeing things is the opposite of Yan Wang’s. Yan Hao believes that vampires should rule the entire world, while the latter thinks they should cohabitate.

They should help each other and share when it comes to culture, technology, science... The field they are most lacking in is technology.

Humans are at least 15 years ahead of them, and with Yan Hao’s new laws, there is no exchange between them. Meaning the humans can’t build a company in their kingdom and sell their products to the vampires.

If they did, it would relaunch the economy and create a lot of jobs in the kingdom, so refusing to have that kind of partnership is a loss but only for the vampires.

Once Yan Wang’s slumber ends, A-Xuan will present a plan to revitalize their economy. Yan Hao hated it when the original was in the limelight even a little bit, so he will make sure he has no choice but to suck up to him as he did.

He did it all his life to gain even a tiny bit of respect and consideration from his father but never got it. A-Xuan will make sure the tables turn.

He and Yan Ning will kneel to him. It will be the best revenge since the original has always been scared of them since he was a kid. They’ll think they will be able to control him. We’ll see about that.
