The king listened to his cowardly son and yelled at someone to cut the feed and empty the stadium.

A-Xuan looked at Huang Xing nodding and the stadium was emptied and the feed cut. When everyone was gone the king came down and stood in front of the dome looking angrily at his son.

The spectators who paid to watch the last battle were angry beyond words.

But then they all received a notification saying that they’d been reimbursed and telling them to click on the link at the bottom.

They all clicked and saw that they could still see everything happening in the dome.

All the spectators at home couldn’t understand either but after 15 minutes the feed was live again. They all looked at their screen excitedly.

The king howled.

"You fuckin coward, you give in just because of wolves. You’re such a disappointment."

Ming said with disdain:

"I’m not going to get mauled by wolves because you had him abducted and killed when he was a baby."

A-Xuan smiled.

"Like father like son."

The king looked at him and yelled:

"What because you’re a powerful mage you think you can take my throne?"

A-Xuan sighed and said:

"Father I’ve never wanted the throne. You’re so obsessed with keeping all this power to yourself that you see everyone around you as a threat. That’s why when Li Guang showed you that I would be a powerful mage you had me killed. That’s also why Huang Xing left when the only person who wanted your throne all along has been by your side this whole time."

A-Xuan nodded toward Ming. The king looked at him with contempt and said:

"I know he wants the throne that’s why I decided to name someone else the heir."

Ming looked at him screaming:

"How could you do that to me? I’m the one who’s been trying to fix a problem you created 19 years ago and that’s how you repay me?"

The king looked at them.

"None of you will get my throne."

A-Xuan smirked.

"You won’t either. Attack!"

The dome came down and the wolves sprinted past Ming and jumped the king. The king screamed as he was being mauled by the relentless wolves. When he only had a few minutes left A-Xuan called them back.

He approached the king and knelt.

"Father I could forgive you for trying to kill me but I’ll never forgive you for killing mother. She could never forgive herself for losing me but she got a little better when Ming was born. But when she found out the truth she lost it and you killed her."

A-Xuan waved his hand and everything that happened that night appeared, you could see Yanzhao and his wife’s spirit.

When the original’s mother lost him she became depressed and lost a lot of weight. She couldn’t forgive herself for losing her firstborn son.

When Ming was born her mental health became better day by day but she drowned in guilt when she found out what Huang Yanzhao had done. She confronted him and he strangled her.

The whole realm watched the scene horrified, a cruel king who would kill not only his firstborn but also his wife.

Ming fell to the floor in tears as he looked at the scene. He could see growing up that his mother felt guilt for losing A-Xuan but he never thought his father had her killed because she found out the truth.

It means if he hadn’t tried to kill A-Xuan his father would’ve killed him, he only let him live because he wanted the same as him.

A-Xuan waved and the wolves finished him. When they were done they looked at A-Xuan for the next order. He nodded toward Ming who was still looking at his father’s mutilated body.

When he saw the wolves approaching he tried to get up but fell again. He looked at A-Xuan pleadingly.

"The only reason I tried to kill you is that father made me."

His father is dead it’s not like he can deny it. Plus he saw that A-Xuan genuinely doesn’t want the throne so if he can make him see that it was all their father’s fault he’ll be king and he’ll have the most powerful mage as an ally.

A-Xuan stopped the wolves and asked:

"Father is the one who asked you to poison and tie me in the wraith forest? Is he also the one who asked you to pay for me to participate in Mystic Warfare?"

Ming took a breath when the wolves stopped in place, he said:

"Yes yes, it was all him."

"How can you be so stupid? I was able to show father killing mother don’t you think I’ll be able to show your culpability as well?"

Ming blanched and said:

"Wait plea..."

A-Xuan waved and Ming and Li Dagou’s visions appeared. In the vision, Ming told Li Dagou that he found out that he was his brother because of the birth mard and explained his plan to get rid of him.

When the whole realm saw enough A-Xuan waved and sent the wolves to him. When he was dead he cut the feed and left the stadium.

While walking he mind linked to his husband.

"I’m in your office, I’ll wait for you there."

"Ok."

He knows he has a lot to do. He basically turned his reality tv show into a horror show. To be fair they are used to seeing things like that in the dome.

He actually went easy on them, he only let the feed go live so they would all know they didn’t die in vain or witches would start to say he uses his power to do whatever he wants.

That’s why he showed proof, so no one can use anything against him. He wants to live the rest of his life in peace with his husband now that he’s done with his mission.

After Huang Xing dealt with everything he left for his office. He wants to see how A-Xuan is doing.

They are still his family after all. He felt nothing seeing them die but that doesn’t mean A-Xuan didn’t.

When he entered his office A-Xuan was on his couch asleep. He smiled and closed the door. He lifted A-Xuan’s head and put it on his leg as a pillow.

A-Xuan woke up and lay on his back. He asked:

"You’re done?"

Huang Xing caressed his hair and nodded.

"Sorry I know it was a lot. I wired you the money for the tickets you had to reimburse."

"I don’t care about that. Are you okay?"

A-Xuan sat up and looked at him.

"I feel nothing for either of them. That day I woke in that forest I had already decided that I would kill them. Everything that I did was a step to get closer to that."

Huang Xing looked at him uneasily and asked:

"Everything?"

A-Xuan understanding his thought straddled him and explained:

"Me falling in love with you had nothing to do with them. If anything, it just made things more complicated. I was afraid you wouldn’t want to be with me when you found out my plan."

Huang Xing lifted A-Xuan’s sad face and said:

"No matter what happens I can’t leave you, even if I was part of your plan I still wouldn’t. You’re mine."

A-Xuan insisted:

"But you weren’t part of the plan. I don’t want you to ever think that I’m using you."

Huang Xing caressed his cheek.

"I know baby."

Huang Xing kissed him and A-Xuan melted in his arms.

A-Xuan and Huang Xing spent the rest of their life together. A-Xuan had no intention of becoming king. Even after the whole realm begged him to be, so the next in line after Huang Xing became king.

A-Xuan made it clear to him that if he wasn’t truly a king for the witches he would get rid of him. He dealt with MercyOrphanage and made sure every orphanage was run correctly.

After he made an example out of MercyOrphanage they all became scared and the abuse of young witches stopped.

He used all the money he would get from his investment to make sure the witches there would all get a chance to enter the university of their choice without having to slave at work as the original did.

Even if he spent his life not working he still helped the king and the realm. Huang Xing after a few years retired and let someone else run Divine U and Mystic Warfare.

Like A-Xuan he would go and help them if something came up. They spent the next 150 years together and his husband died first.

A-Xuan kissed his forehead devotedly and left for the locus space. He stayed a long time receiving the world’s energy. When he was done he decided to sleep.

A-Xuan woke up 100 years later and went to the next world excitedly. As soon as he opened his eyes he cursed. Why does this keep happening to him?
