The golden rays of light turned them into golden statues. With their bodies trapped in the golden statues, they could only continue to suffer immense pain.

The damage from the golden light was so much that Nether Flame and Ant Hill lost their bodies in less than one second of being exposed. Their bodies crumbled, leaving behind their holy fire and a channel to their Cave Heaven.

This could only have happened if they had given up on healing their injuries or if the damage had been too much for them to heal in a short amount of time. Loki was sure that it was the latter after seeing how powerful the golden light was with the Power Identification Ability.

By the time the two shields in front of him had lost their bodies, he was already gone. So he was standing very far away when he saw through the power Identification Ability that the Golden Light Metac was capable of attacking an enemy about 1 million times per second. This was information that he hadn’t seen in the previous timeline.

In the previous timeline, Money Body had only displayed the ability of the Golden Light Metac to produce fast and undodgeable attacks that turned everything it touched into gold. This was the first time that he saw that Money Body could spend an exorbitant amount of lifespan to put the Golden Light Metac into overdrive and force the body of the target to crash in a second.

This sight made Loki both impressed and solemn at the same time. He couldn’t help but say inwardly, ’Forget being an erupting volcano. He is almost an exploding star.’

’He wasn’t like this in the previous timeline. It is almost as if he is angry at something in this timeline.:

’I wonder what he could possibly be angry about. After all, I gave him the simple job while I took on the most difficult job of being the brains of the operation.’

Then he clicked his tongue and said, ’Some people are just impossible to satisfy. They just like getting angry for absolutely no reason whatsoever.’

After having his fun, his mood became serious when he saw Nether Flame and Ant Hill trying and failing to reform their bodies. Anytime they tried to recreate their bodies, it would be frozen by the golden light. Then the frozen body will scatter into gold dust.

The sight made him nod and think to himself, ’I doubt any amount of lifespan can narrow that kind of gap in power. With that much power, he can force a target to open a passage to their Cave Heaven for him. Then he can force his way into their Cave Heaven to destroy it or assimilate it.’

’I bet that’s how he managed to form such a large alliance. Even if it is not how he formed his alliance, I am sure that is how I’ll die when he turns in me.’

Meanwhile, the fight between Monarch Money Body and the crystal shield was still going on. The two of them were at an impasse at the moment. But this stalemate didn’t last more than five seconds.

The stalemate only lasted for five seconds because that’s how long it took Money Body to channel all the golden light into a single beam that he directed into the crystal shield.

With the golden light gone, Nether Flame and Ant Hill could finally heal their bodies. As soon as they reformed their bodies, they ran away from Money Body to put some distance between them and him.

They wanted to be away from him for their safety. Loki couldn’t blame them for this, but he thought their actions were a waste now. This was because the crystal shield was the one bearing the full brunt of Money Body’s power now.

The beam of light shining on the crystal shield didn’t suddenly increase the power of the attack. But it did intensify the pressure of the attack by concentrating all of Money Body’s power into a single point.

Because of the Money Body Metac, the crystal shield was becoming weaker as it destroyed the beam of light. This and the overwhelming power of the attack caused the crystal shield to shatter like glass before Money Body.

With Money Body going all out right from the start, the crystal shield would be breached faster than Loki expected. But Loki wasn’t happy to see this.

His face contorted with anger as he said to himself, ’That bastard. He must be doing this on purpose. What a scum bag.’

As soon as he realized what was wrong, he sent a message to Money Body, saying, ’I order you to take your time breaching the crystal shield. Make sure to use your Money Body Metac extensively on it.’

He had decided not to mince words at all. He also didn’t bother to ask for an explanation. He immediately used his privilege to order Money Body to order the money cultivator to behave.

Money Body didn’t say anything about the order, but he did do as he was told and took his time breaking through the crystal shield. This way, the crystal shield was weakened immensely.

When Loki wasn’t satisfied with how weak the crystal shield had become, he ordered Money Body to delay again. He did this a third time until the crystal shield had become too weak to even be a bother to the weakest among them.

Then he had Nether Flame and Ant Hill enter the crystal shield after Money Body. As for him, he didn’t enter. He chose to stand back and wait with a shield breaker.

Once the three of them have landed in Oceania, they will plant the other part of the pair of shield breakers with them. He will activate the shield breaker in his hands and use it to connect to the one in the world.

This will create a safe passage through the crystal shield. Only then does he plan to pass through the crystal shield and enter Oceania.
