The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse
Chapter 1517: The Elites Coffee shop
Supreme Warrior Sayuri quickly made her way back to her residence, which was located on an island. She was the only person who lived there.
As the headmistress of the warrior college, she had the privilege of living on one of the islands that had a much denser concentration of laws.
If a god were to live in such a place, deepening their understanding of the laws would become three times easier.
At times, her elite students, who were planning to ascend to godhood, were allowed to spend a few decades there, comprehending the laws.
Today, she was the only person there.
However, when she landed on the island, she activated a formation that shielded her from all forms of surveillance. If someone were spying on her, this formation would block them.
But as if that wasn’t enough, she retrieved an SSS-Class item and activated it as well, causing the entire island to plunge into the water. In no time, the entire island sank, and the water covered everything.
Still standing outside, she lifted her head and saw that a dome had formed around the island.
It was then that she exhaled.
Then, a look of shock, guilt, happiness, and all forms of emotions flashed across her eyes. She used her hand to cover her face as tears rolled down her cheeks.
She dropped to her knees, and a few seconds later, sobbing sounds could be heard.
While she cried, memories of her past life continued to flood her mind, intensifying her tears.
Eventually, the memories stopped, and one that she now remembered so vividly flashed through her mind. It was the memory of the day she died...

[The Era of the Paragon of Death - The Day the Paragon Died]
A petite lady clad in a tank top and tight leather jeans stood atop a wall, her fists clenched. Beside her stood two other ladies, one clad in green cloak armor and the other in red tight-skin leather armor.
"Kitty, are you really sure about this?" the red leather-armored lady asked. "From what you told me, your brother was captured by the Heavens Court 30,000 years ago. How sure are you that he is still alive?"
The petite lady, who went by the name Kitty, turned to Makani, the red leather-armored lady.
"He sent his signal, big sister. He and I share a signal, so I know it was him. Big Brother is still alive."
"Still, even if he is still alive, how sure are we that he is still the same person he was? For all we know, he has been brainwashed and is being used to lure us out, and Lord Paragon..." Seiki, the green-cloak armor lady, questioned, her voice devoid of emotion.
Kitty glared at her but didn’t snap like one would expect her to, considering her temper.
"Even if he were being controlled, I would still save and heal him. He is my brother. After mom and dad died, he protected me and made sure I grew up in peace. I won’t abandon him, not when he needs me."
"Ahh, what a headache. Lord Paragon told us not to get into trouble until he returns. However, here we are, going looking for trouble despite knowing all of this is a trap." Seiki, one of the greatest archers in the universe, straightened her posture and turned to Makani.
"So, when are we leaving?"
Makani smirked and replied, "Since we are probably going to end up dead, why don’t we try Uncle Bob’s cupcakes one last time? I have a feeling my head will be severed by the close of tomorrow."
"Death flags, Makani. Lord Paragon warned you against throwing death flags all over the place."
Makani chuckled and cupped Kitty’s cheek. "We only have one shot at saving your big brother, so make sure your sword is as sharp as your tongue. If you end up dying before I do, I might just go mad and kill everyone."
Kitty nodded, a smile appearing on her face.
---
The scene changed, and Kitty found herself on one knee, her body supported by her sword. On her left, Seiki lay dead, a spear stabbed through her chest.
On her right, Makani’s headless body lay on the ground, her entire body littered with all forms of gruesome cuts.
Looking forward, she saw a dark-haired man wielding a spear as he faced off against tens of thousands of gods, thousands of supremes, and over a hundred celestials.
Behind that man, thousands of gods and supremes lay dead, while a few celestials barely held on to their lives.
What was shocking, however, was the fact that this dark-haired man was merely a demigod. He hadn’t even reached the realm of [God Ascension] yet.
However, such a man had already killed thousands of gods and supremes. Naturally, that man was the Paragon of Death, one of the most dangerous incarnations of the Paragon the universe had ever seen after the death of the Asura God.
Kitty clenched her fist, tears rolling down her face.
This was all her fault. If she hadn’t insisted on saving her brother, who happened to be the one leading the charge against Orion, the Paragon of Death, none of this would have happened.
"I-I am sorry, Big Sister Seiki... Big Sister Makani... I am sorry..." Her tears flowed freely.
Looking up, she saw an arrow stab through Orion’s chest, sending him crashing down. However, just when a celestial thought he had Orion cornered, a smirk formed on the demigod’s face as he pointed the index finger of his right hand.
"Underworld Death Finger."
A black beam shot from his finger, and that was how the first Celestial fell. The others halted in their advance, some taking several steps back.
Just then, Orion turned and looked at Kitty.
"I will see you in the next life, Kitty. Until then, watch how I go out in style."
Just as he said that, he dropped his spear and formed a series of hand seals.
"RUNNNNNN-"
The Celestial, Kitty’s big brother, who was leading the charge, screamed, his voice spreading everywhere. Thousands vanished into the void, others flew out of the planet, while some became locked in place.
"This ends the Chapter of the Paragon of Death." Orion’s smile grew wide as he lifted his right hand and snapped his fingers.
"Doomsday Art: Eternal Damnation."
Kitty, who had already crossed the gate of death, saw a pitch-black darkness emerge from Orion’s finger and swallow the entire world. No sound was heard, but she knew thousands screamed, and some probably cursed.
But in the end, none of it changed their fate...
The Great Annihilation, one of the many unfortunate events that had rocked the Heavens Court, was born, and it cemented the end of an era, one where the universe got to witness a Paragon who simply wouldn’t die, no matter how many times he was killed.
---
Supreme Warrior Sayuri remained on her knees for ten minutes before she stood up. Still with tears in her eyes, she walked inside and instantly connected to the Dark Space.
She appeared on a busy street where thousands of people, going about their daily routines, walked to and fro.
Supreme Warrior Sayuri quickly found her destination and made her way there. A few minutes later, she stood before a coffee shop with a sign that read ’Elites Coffee Shop.’
She sighed and pushed open the door.
The moment she entered, her gaze locked with the Barista, who smiled and wiped her hands.
"Well, well, well... look what the cats dragged in."
