Chapter 51: 136 (2)

"Captain!" Lieur screamed.

She was being protected by Alleus who had dropped her weapon as she was holding back a giant hammer, the Lotus Solidity glove glowed... despite the fact that she had made the hammer weightless, the strength from the werewolf was putting pressure on her, she also looked incredibly fatigued.

Running towards them, a werewolf had lunged towards Lieur, cutting through an arrow that was shot.

In the next moment, Lieur’s bow was shattered as the werewolf slashed at her, sending her flying into the inn.

Damn it! I got too distracted.

Swinging and clashing blades with the werewolf, I stabbed it through the chest, the pulled it down.

Howling, the werewolf dropped to the ground.

Pulling out the fire hero’s sword, I swung it at the werewolf that was making Alleus struggle.

"Excaliburn!"

The werewolf was then caught on fire by the arced projectile of flame.

Dashing after Lieur, I removed the rubble off her body.

My eyes widened in horror.

"Aaargh! C-captain... tell me, just how bad is it..?" She wailed in pain.

Lieur’s arm that she uses to draw her bow had been severed off.

"Calm your breathing, and just close your eyes."

Commanding the scales to wrap around her, I carried her onto the couch in the lounging area of the inn.

Staring at the innkeeper, I hurriedly asked:

"Do you have any bandages, I need them now!"

Stumbling around, she ran into a backroom.

Pulling out a recovery potion from my pouch, I forced it down her mouth.

"You must drink, you’ll keep bleeding if you don’t."

Suddenly, a tall shadow loomed over me. Judging by the silhouette, it’s a werewolf that wields a longsword... it’s either a warrior or a tank.

Looks like Incus’ wind hero sword wasn’t fast enough to stop it.

Gritting my teeth, I pulled out the bastard sword as I threw the fire hero’s sword and lunged with my body low to the ground at the werewolf.

Dodging a downwards sword strike by pushing myself off one of the inn’s supporting pillars.

Twisting my body, I swung at the werewolf’s neck.

But then the scales that strengthened my arm dispersed.

"Urgh!"

Clenching my teeth and gripping harder on the handle of the sword, I continued the strike.

"Ahwoooo!" The werewolf howled.

But the bastard sword got stuck on muscles and hard bone.

Grabbing the fire hero’s sword which was stabbed through the inn’s wall, I slammed it against the bastard sword.

Growling the werewolf slammed it’s hand at me, sending my flying.

Repositioning myself to land on my feet, I glared coldly.

"Scales, strengthen me now!"

Jumping at the werewolf, I decapitated it as the innkeeper walked in with bandages in hand.

Pointing as Lieur, laying in the lounge area, I commanded from the scales to retract back to me.

"Stop the bleeding, please I beg of you."

Looking at me, she shook her head and began pouring wine on the large gaping would before wrapping the bandages.

Sheathing back the bastard sword, I walked out the inn’s door despite the large hole on the wall.

"Spiked frost!" Vertere was piercing the werewolves with spikes of ice that rose from the ground.

Alleus was on her knees, gripping her cusped falchion.

Patting her head, I gently smiled.

"Don’t worry, I’ll take care of things from here."

Looking at me with a serious look, she sighed before plopping down on the ground.

"Give them hell partner."

Grabbing Alleus by the back of the neck, I threw her back towards the inn.

Glancing around, my eyes finally landed on Vertere.

He was limping towards the inn, one of his lower shins had been broken, as werewolves were mockingly following him.

Exuding mana, I pointing my hand at those werewolves, I commanded:

"Scales, shoot out and kill those werewolves."

Dragon scales shot out, forming holes in the werewolves bodies.

Dropping my hand, I shifted my attention.

At the army of approaching werewolves, their growls and howls filling the silence of the crimson sky.

"From this point on, any fur balls who as much as take a breath in my direction will die."

The force armor then grew much more intimidating.

’Yes, finally! Feed me more! Feed me your rage!’ The force armor loudly chuckled, it’s annoying voice filling my head.

I then lunged at a werewolf whose growl was louder than the rest, as streaks of lightning flashed the inn.

As I clashed blades with the loudly growling werewolf, it’s sword broke.

"...Impact line."

It wasn’t as good as master Index’s or Incus, but it got the job done, and this technique uses less mana than Excaliburn... meaning I can use it at a higher rate of succession.

Slicing the werewolf in half, I jumped into the sky as I was the berated by werewolves who did the same.

Incus was also in the air, as lightning thundered in the crimson sky, painting it in a hue of streaking blue.

"Excalibolt!" Incus shouted, disappearing into the sea of werewolves, wiping out several of them.

"Impact line!" I shouted at the same time, cutting through steel, fur, flesh, and bones.

"Death isn’t enough for you pieces of shits, I will make you wish that you had been created!"

My veins pulses visibly, as I fell and hacked at the werewolves.

As I reached the solid ground of grass, Werewolves jumped at me, leaving me no room to escape.

Throwing the fire hero’s sword to my other hand, I mumbled:

"Even a colony of ants falls when the rain comes."

Right before their blades touched my skin, I shifting my stance as I pulled back my sword while spinning it.

"Sky severing thrust."

Wincing in pain, the werewolves had all be eviscerated.

[Your Stamina has risen]

"Scales, make sure I don’t drop my sword."

The dragon scales then forced my hand to form a fist, making my grip firmer.

With every second, I counted in my head just how much time I have left before this full body strengthening I have left.

[34 seconds left]

Decapitating multiple heads clean off I took their swords and threw them at the werewolves, piercing through their chests, and heads.

[26 seconds left]

"Impact line!" I slashed horizontally, destroying a great battle axe.

[Your mana has risen]

Stepping forward, I grabbed the werewolf by the head then slammed it into the others, before slashing the fire hero’s sword.

"Excaliburn!" The werewolves then caught on fire.

When they tried to run towards the river back, Incus would slaughter them.

[15 seconds left.]

Continuing the slaughter, the dragon scales then dispersed.

The pain of my arms and the blunt damage I’ve accumulated but tried to avoid took over me.

At the same time, the force armor was slowly turning back to it’s normal form.

[Your physical has risen]

With labored breathing, I began to laugh.

There was still a plentiful amount of these damned werewolves alive... the absurdity of it all, who wouldn’t laugh?

Interrupting my sulking, a large splash of water then shot up in the air, from the riverbank next to the inn.

Incus was battling a werewolf but it’s size was much bigger and taller than the rest, it must be the werewolves leader.

The werewolves had also stopped their pursuit on me as they began heading the direction of Incus.

Plopping to the ground, I breathed a sigh of relief.
