"With this, the entire western area of the continent is down. Sigh..." Albert said as he stepped into the portal and came to the other continent.

"Why are you sighing?" I asked.

"Because right now, it really feels like we are the invaders. Our goal is to destroy the cult and not to conquer the world," he said.

The other Kings are there as well. Including the original King of this country who surrendered.

"How many civilian casualties?" Fabio asked.

"I don’t know. But you don’t have to worry as we didn’t kill anyone who surrendered. The only problem now is that the cult already knows that we’re here and will probably fight. And we don’t know where they will appear from since they can also use portals. Maybe the next fight could be in this continent. Maybe back in our home country. Maybe even in Monsters World," I said.

We’re at a point where both sides are unable to hold back anymore. The point where only one side can survive and the other side has to be erased completely.

"The original King here will persuade the citizen to not trust the cult. You will send the centaurs and get them to see if there’s anyone lying about it. If they find any, they can tell the soldiers to arrest those people. As for you, you will look for anyone who is hiding or looking from far away. We will check the palace and give advice to the original King of this country about what to do," Albert said.

Busy again. Not fighting again.

I enjoyed it when all I had to do was killing. Especially if those I need to kill are members of the cult.

Well, I guess I need a break once in a while. Keeping my mind occupied by killing will make my girlfriends worried.

"Do you have to do this again?" Kayla asked me.

"I don’t think so. Albert said that since the King surrendered, we will make him be the main character in this continent that will persuade other people here telling them that the cult is the real enemy. Now I will focus on defense again. Unless we found another country that has been completely under the influence of the cult. Which I expect to be many," I said.

By the way, on the west area of this continent, other than the kingdom that we fought in yesterday, we also somehow managed to get another small kingdom. The King was crazy. But the prince was not. So we arrested the King and got the prince to rise to the throne. The prince, now the King, is here as well.

For the whole day today, we investigated this place. Though for Albert and the others, they have returned back to their own country. Leaving Toni behind to be in charge of the mission here. To teach the King of this country what to do.

Toni was the one who suggested staying behind. Because his job in Arturo was not much and other people can handle it so he decided to come here.

Is this how he’s taking a break? Why is he taking a break by working?

We captured those who lied about not believing the cut again and those who resisted. The children in the facility were returned to their parents. For those whose parents died, they were taken to an orphanage.

It will be hard to convince the children because the life they have lived is totally different than what the future hold now that they are free. Some still believed in the Evil God. And for them, it seems like how we will teach them is no different than how the cult is brainwashing people.

Well, once they grow up and still believe in the Evil God, I don’t have any reason to hold back anymore.

A few days later, we finally decided to move east. Going to the next country and conquer it. I mean persuade them to leave the cult.

But as we were about to start scouting, I got a report that there’s a movement in Monsters World. One of the scouts we have there found another base of the cult there. So we decided to go there first.

This time, since there are no civilians and no children, I brought the girls with me.

Just me, members of Wolf’s Crown, and the monsters.

And since the girls missed the fight in the other continent before, they were going around actively so I didn’t have much to do.

So I just watched. Watching to make sure that no one escapes.

At most I would only use Victorifle to shoot at summoners who seem to about to open a portal.

We made a new rule after experiencing so much battle. It’s to kill summoners and monsters last if possible. It will be hard since the summoners will probably escape using a portal so we ended up killing summoners first.

We made this rule so that no summoners in the place we’re fighting could escape and no summoners with a familiar placed in the place we’re fighting could come there as reinforcement. Though once we killed a familiar or a summoner, people or the familiar on the other side would notice.

So even though we have the rule, we broke it most of the time.

Meanwhile, Angela didn’t do much as well. But that’s only for the first fifteen minutes. After that, she made her move.

And just like that, the entire base is destroyed with her magic. Killing everyone except us.

"Angela, your magic is too crazy!" Shelia shouted.

"I can’t wait any longer. Fifteen minutes is too long," Angela said.

"Next time, we can simply send Angela somewhere to fight on her own," Kayla said.

Even Kayla is annoyed. I guess she wants to relief her stress by killing the cult members.

"Just how many does it make? And how many more will it be? Why are they so hard to find?" Candy complained.

And then I got a call from Toni. I listened to his report and hang up the phone.

"Seems like it won’t be long. One of the most powerful members of the cult seems to have made an action," I said.

"Really?" Candy asked.

"Yes. In the other continent, several countries have fallen. Not because of us. But because of undead. All the mages, including master level mages, have turned into undead. Into zombies. Seems like the Death mage has made her move. And that mage should be at the stage beyond master level. Toni told me to go there. How about you guys?" I asked.

It finally happened. Someone big made her move. It’s someone who captured Sonia in the past. Though it’s a good thing that she was already made a contract with Lina back then.

Everyone is looking at Kayla. She’s the smartest one here so everyone is looking forward for her opinion.

"We need to split up. There’s a chance that somewhere in our continent there are already zombies. As for Monsters World, we can leave it to the monsters. I think just Angela and Roy alone would be enough if it’s just zombies. You two can help Toni over there while we will return back to Tatrama," Kayla suggested.

"Alright. I’ll open a portal for you."

I opened a portal and returned them to Tatrama. Not to our house but to Albert’s palace. They will be briefed again there.

While Angela and I returned to the other continent right to where Toni is.

"Where’s the zombie?" I asked.

"Not here yet. We have enough people to stop them from reaching this kingdom. But outside of this kingdom, there might be many. Unfortunately, several of our master level mages have fallen and turned into zombies. We were forced to kill our own allies," Toni said.

"What about other countries?" I asked.

"If my guess is right, other than some people, the rest have been turned into zombies. Even the civilians. That’s what the few agents who survived told us," Toni said. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

This is the power of a Death Mage beyond the stage of master level. This is crazy. Turning everyone into zombies.

Using Divine Vision to see as far away as possible, I could see that zombies are moving here slowly. There are even baby zombies. This is why we call them Evil Cult.

"What should we do?" I asked.

"We can get the earth mages to elevate the ground so this kingdom will raise and those zombies need to climb the wall to reach us. It’s a simple method to stop those who are weak. But if the zombies used to be powerful mages, they can still use magic again even in that state. Although they will not be as strong or as fast as before, it’s still annoying. Let’s just elevate the ground," Toni suggested.

Raising the ground? Well, we have Angela here. With the help of other earth mages, it won’t be hard.

"Angela, you go and help the earth mages. I’ll focus on the zombie mages," I said.

The final battle is getting closer. That’s what I hope. I really want the Evil God to die as soon as possible.
