Angelica took a deep breath and nodded. She was still within the barrier created by Heavenly Demon as she sat down in meditation. Although she looked like she was floating in space, in truth she was standing on a solid, invisible barrier.

She closed her eyes and began to feel her surroundings. She still felt fear from the sensation she experienced from the point of beginning, as well as from the primordial chaos energy. But she fought against that feeling and instead embraced the attraction coming from the energy.

She could sense the rich primordial chaos energy around her. She cast aside her hesitation, gritted her teeth inwardly, and began to absorb it.

The primordial chaos energy responded to her attempt, and the energy around her started to flow toward her. Then finally, the first strand of primordial chaos energy entered her body, and at that exact moment, she felt something she had never felt before.

Something that left her slightly stunned.

She felt the primordial chaos energy easily enter her meridians, then flow smoothly toward her dantian. Every part of her body that the energy passed through felt rejuvenated. It was like dry land that had not been touched by water for a long time finally receiving rain.

The primordial chaos energy did not harm her body. Instead, it began to strengthen it.
