After enjoying the city’s night scenery in the park for a while, it was finally time for Aldrian and his wives to part ways with Su Wenxin. At the side of the road, Su Wenxin was already inside her car.

"Sir Aldrian and ladies, please call me if there is anything you need help with," she said toward Aldrian and his wives, who stood outside the car.

Aldrian smiled at her. "Alright, thank you for escorting us today, Miss Su. As my gratitude, would you give me your wallet account number?"

Understanding what Aldrian intended to do, Su Wenxin instantly waved her hand.

"Please don’t, Sir Aldrian. You already gave me many things today that I could only hope for my entire life. You have already done enough that even I feel bad myself."

Aldrian still smiled. "I see. Just tell me your wallet account number," he said once again.

At that moment, Su Wenxin’s eyes suddenly turned slightly blank, and in a flat tone, she spoke her wallet account number.

"445503288596."

Aldrian nodded and transferred some money to her. Sylphia and the others knew that Su Wenxin was under Aldrian’s hypnotic control, and they could not help but smile. Su Wenxin had no choice but to receive Aldrian’s gratitude, even though it was shoved right down her throat.

They also agreed with him, as Su Wenxin had been really helpful to them today, and it must have been tiring for her as she also worked as a law enforcer.

She was worth earning much more.

After Aldrian finished transferring the money, he released his hypnotic control over Su Wenxin. She blinked a few times. She could not help but feel something strange within herself, but before she could check what it was, she heard Aldrian speak.

"Well, I think we will part here for now, Miss Su. Have a safe journey on your way back. You should take a good rest. Oh, and please enjoy your day off tomorrow. We already know the common knowledge of this world, so I think we do not have to hassle you during your day off."

Su Wenxin was astonished upon hearing Aldrian mention her day off, because she had never talked about it to him at all!

How did he know about it?

She felt embarrassed as a faint blush appeared on her face.

"What are you talking about, Sir Aldrian? If you or the ladies call me and need my help, even if I have to come to you, of course I will come. There is no need to hesitate."

Aldrian only smiled, which made her even more embarrassed.

"If there is a chance in the future, then we will meet again, Miss Su. For now, goodbye, and have a safe trip home," Aldrian said before he and his wives disappeared.

Su Wenxin stunned. After confirming that Aldrian and his wives had truly left, she let out a sigh.

Today was truly an unbelievable day.

She had met someone like Aldrian, someone who had already caused an uproar in the city on his first day on Earth. The military and the Hunter Association had placed him on their most important list.

And here she was, just a normal captain from the municipal police, becoming their guide and even building a connection with them.

She could not help but shake her head with a smile as she was about to drive, but then she saw a message on her smart bracelet. She opened it, and after reading the content, she was completely shocked.

"Five hundred million yuan?" she blurted out.

She had received a transfer of five hundred million yuan from Aldrian’s account.

She was stunned, as she did not remember ever giving him her wallet number. She had already refused his intention to send her money, since she had received many things from him today.

Inside her car’s trunk, it was already full of her belongings.

’How could he do it?’

She did not know how he did it, and that was what made her heart shudder and feel unsettled. But then she let out another sigh. If Aldrian had already given her this much, then what could she do? It would be impolite if she kept refusing.

With this amount of money, she could even buy a new big house for her parents. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

She smiled, thanking Aldrian in her heart, and finally drove away.

-------------------------------

Aldrian and his wives teleported to the sky above the city, where they could see the vast scenery below, filled with countless lights. It was truly beautiful, and they enjoyed it for a few moments before Aldrian looked at Sylphia.

"Do you want to visit my home from the past? My home is actually still standing after all these years."

Sylphia raised her eyebrows, then smiled. "Let’s go. I wonder how your past home looks if it is still standing now."

Baek Jimin and Angelica were also curious about what kind of place Aldrian had lived in during his past life.

Aldrian then teleported all of them to one of the residential areas of the city. The moment they appeared, they saw buildings of a different style. They were from an older era, mostly normal houses, with some classic eastern-style buildings mixed into certain parts of the area.

Aldrian and Sylphia felt as if they had been brought back to the past, to the time when they lived in that era, when they met on the street and walked together.

Moreover, they had arrived on a road that both of them knew well. Nostalgia washed over them. Memories from their past life kept surfacing at that moment.

They began walking toward Aldrian’s former house. He deliberately did not teleport them directly in front of it, as he wanted to take a walk and look at the places that had once been part of his daily life.

The area here was much calmer compared to the bustling parts of the city. At a distance of five kilometers from the main city, the noise did not reach this place. The number of lights was minimal, creating a serene atmosphere that calmed the mind.

Only a few people passed by, and they were shocked upon seeing Aldrian and his wives. Most of them were elderly mortals without power, likely returning from work, such as selling food.

"Oh, are you otherworlder?" an old man pulling a food cart asked with a surprised expression as he noticed Sylphia’s elven features. Despite his slightly bent body and fragile appearance, he still seemed strong and healthy enough to pull the cart.

Sylphia smiled and nodded. "Yes, sir."

The old man raised his eyebrows and nodded in understanding.

"So all of you are otherworlders?"

Aldrian and the others nodded. "Yes, we are, sir," Aldrian replied.

"I see. This is the first time I have seen otherworlders come to this place. Well, they do not really have any reason to visit here anyway," the old man said.

An old woman and a middle-aged woman, who looked like her daughter, were also listening to their conversation. They seemed to have just returned from selling food as well, and they decided to join in. The old woman spoke to Aldrian and the others.

"This is the first time I have seen otherworlders directly. I am surprised that you visited this place. May I know why you came here?"

"We just wanted to see another part of the city where it is much more serene, ma’am. We got a bit bored looking at the usual city scenery," Aldrian replied.

The old woman nodded, her expression showing approval. "I see. It is good that you want to explore more. Most tourists do not want to visit this kind of place because they think it is boring."

"Of course it is not boring, ma’am. How could it be boring when there are so many interesting things happening here? Those who consider this place boring are the ones who never understand the value of a place like this," Aldrian said. As he spoke, he recalled the things he had done here when he still lived in this place.

The old woman and the others who heard him felt touched, and the old man nodded in approval.

"What a great young man. I like your words. If only more people from this country thought like you, our culture would never fade, no matter the era."

Aldrian smiled at the old man. "Anyway, how about we help you, sir, ma’am? It seems you are heading in the same direction as us, so why not let me help you move your cart?"

The old man and the old woman instantly refused.

"No, you don’t have to. I don’t want to hassle you," the old man said.

"No, please don’t mind us. We don’t want to disturb your time," the old woman added. Her daughter also refused politely.

But Aldrian smiled. "It’s okay. I just want to do it, and it’s not a hassle for me, because I can do this..."

Suddenly, both of their food carts began to feel lighter. They were shocked as the carts slowly floated into the air, then gently moved in the same direction.

"Heavens, what kind of power do you have, to make things float like this?" the old man asked in shock.

"Well, this is an easy thing for me, sir," Aldrian replied with a smile.

"What a convenient ability," the middle-aged woman commented in amazement.

"Let’s go. I will escort you to your destination, sir, ma’am," Aldrian said.

The old man and the old woman could no longer refuse, as Aldrian had already done this much. They walked together for some time. Along the way, they chatted about a few things, such as Aldrian’s origin and the lives of people in this area.

Aldrian could not help but feel touched by their good hearts and hospitable nature. They did not think much about his or his wives’ origins as otherworlders. Instead, they treated them like normal people. They did not differentiate between others, which allowed them to be amicable with anyone.

He could not help but want to protect people like them, so their hearts could remain this kind.

The old man and the old woman’s houses were located before Aldrian’s destination, allowing him to escort them all the way home. After he finished escorting them, he and his wives continued walking toward his house.

After a few more minutes, they finally arrived. They stood in front of the house that had once been his home when he lived his life on Earth.

A house that occupied only a small part of his long history, yet remained one of the most memorable places to him.
