Chapter 1176: Deep Nostalgia

Aldrian stood in front of the gate entrance to his house, which was surrounded by a brick fence as high as one and a half meters. He and his wives could see the house clearly. It was simple house, around a hundred square meters in size, including its own garden.

There was no second floor and no excessive ornament. Yet even without any luxury, the house exuded a kind of warmth. The warmth of a family.

Although some of the details of the house had already changed compared to his past life, overall, it still retained the same shape as when Aldrian had lived here.

He could not help but feel sentimental. In that past life, he had lived an ordinary life in this house with his parents. The parents he believed to be the same as those in his current life.

They lived as ordinary people here and were even considered poor, as they barely managed to meet their daily needs.

It was a life full of struggle. It was also in this house that he and Sylphia built their sweet memories with his family. Even so, he still had to prove himself worthy to make her family accept their relationship.

He could almost see the shadows of their past moving in front of the house, and it made him want to cry. But he held himself back and took a deep breath to calm himself.

Sylphia, Baek Jimin, and Angelica could feel Aldrian’s emotions at this moment just from the way he looked at the house, especially Sylphia. How could she not, when this house held so many memories?

Sylphia herself was also deeply moved. In this house, she had her own memories with Aldrian and his family.

"So this is where you lived, husband? I can’t help but imagine what kind of life you had at that time, a simple, normal life," Baek Jimin commented.

Aldrian nodded. "A simple and normal life," he repeated in soft voice.

"The house looks clean and neat. Someone must be living here, keeping it in order." Angelica said as she looked at the condition of the house.

Aldrian nodded. "Yes."

Not long after he said that, all of them sensed someone approaching. They turned their gazes toward a figure walking through the dim streetlight.

It was a young man with brown hair, wearing plain clothes. His expression showed how tired he was. His gaze was lowered, watching each step he took, as if something weighed heavily on his mind, making every step slow and heavy.

Seeing that the young man was approaching them like this, Aldrian and the others thought that he might be the one living in the house.

’Speak of the devil...’ Aldrian thought.

The young man finally noticed Aldrian, Sylphia, and the others. He froze when he saw several figures standing in front of his house.

He had never expected anyone to visit at this hour, so who were they?

His surprise deepened as he realized they were otherworlders, noticing Sylphia’s elven features. His face flushed slightly at the sight of the three beauties, and he was also struck by the man’s handsome appearance.

But he quickly pushed those thoughts aside and focused on something more important.

’Otherworlders? Why are they in front of my house?’ he thought.

He grew wary. He was afraid these otherworlders might do something bad to him.

Still, he gritted his teeth and continued walking toward Aldrian and his wives. They were standing right in front of his house, after all. He wanted to know why they had appeared here, especially in front of his home.

"Excuse me," he said, gathering his courage to greet them.

"Um, can you speak my language?" he asked.

Aldrian showed a warm smile and nodded. "Yes."

The young man let out a sigh of relief before looking at Aldrian. "May I know why you are standing in front of my house?"

"You live in this house?" Aldrian asked.

"Yes."

"Do you live alone in the house?"

The young man grew more wary as Aldrian asked this question. Why would he ask whether he lived alone or not? That was already suspicious.

He did not know what kind of answer he should give. Should he answer honestly or not?

Aldrian, who could sense the turmoil in his mind, continued to smile.

"Please don’t worry, we are not here with ill intent. We are just visiting this area because we came here a long time ago. Seeing that this house is still standing, we wanted to take a look and reminisce."

The young man still did not completely believe him, but it eased the tension in his heart and mind. He was already prepared to escape if something went wrong and call the police.

Aldrian nodded inwardly in approval. This young man, who looked to be in his twenties and had an aura much stronger than normal mortal without power, was actually afraid.

However, he still pushed himself to act brave in front of them and even prepared for the worst, showing his courageous character.

Another thing Aldrian noticed was that the young man did not recognize them. He knew their faces had already spread across the internet and had become a hot topic in the city, even beyond it.

Yet this young man’s reaction showed that he did not know them.

"I see," the young man replied before letting out a sigh. "I live here with my older sister."

He decided to answer honestly. After thinking it through, there was nothing about him or his house that would attract these otherworlders. After all, he did not have anything valuable.

Aldrian nodded. "Ah, right. It’s impolite of me not to introduce ourselves first. You can call me Aldrian, and they are my wives. This is Sylphia, Jimin, and Angelica."

The young man raised his eyebrows. To think that these three beauties were this man’s wives. But seeing his appearance, he did not doubt it that this man was a lady killer, someone many women would want to be with.

"I’m Mo Yuheng," he said.

"Mo Yuheng," Aldrian repeated with a nod. Driven by curiosity, he then looked at Mo Yuheng’s information through the system, and what he saw truly surprised him.

’What? He has a special physique, the Divine Flame Sovereign Constitution?’

He did not expect to find someone with a special physique on Earth. The earth had only entered the era of cultivation a few hundred years ago, and this place was still too weak to support someone like this.

Even if a miracle occurred and someone possessed a special physique, they would not develop properly here. They could not unleash even a fraction of their true potential.

’The Divine Flame Sovereign Constitution is a special physique that reveals its true worth when a cultivator reaches the divine realm. A sovereign of flame that can burn anything in existence. But even before reaching that level, their control over flame and the power behind it is no joke,’ Aldrian thought.

He looked at Mo Yuheng again with a knowing expression. This young man was far too weak for someone with such a physique. It was downright pathetic.

But he knew the reason.

The environment of Earth could not support the cultivation required for his physique. The heaven and earth energy here was far too thin for his growth. In fact, Aldrian even doubted that the young man realized he possessed such a physique.

Mo Yuheng, who noticed Aldrian staring at him intently, felt uncomfortable and uneasy.

"Is there something wrong with me?" he asked, which brought Aldrian out of his thoughts. Aldrian smiled at him.

"Ah, I’m sorry for spacing out. Something just came to mind."

Sylphia and the others could tell that Aldrian had discovered something about the young man that made him act that way. They just knew it.

"So, Mister Yuheng, may I call you that?" Aldrian asked.

"Just Yuheng is fine for me. Um, Mister Aldrian?" Yuheng said hesitantly.

"You can call me whatever makes you comfortable," Aldrian replied with a smile.

Mo Yuheng nodded.

"Yuheng, may I visit your house? I know this sounds sudden and inappropriate, but there is something I want to talk to you about. I believe it could help you," Aldrian said.

Mo Yuheng was confused. What did Aldrian want to talk about? Help him regarding what? He still felt suspicious, but his curiosity made him nod.

"Please come in. I apologize that I may not be able to serve you well."

They entered the front garden after Mo Yuheng unlocked the gate. The moment Aldrian stepped inside, a wave of nostalgia washed over him.

Not long after, they entered the house, and Aldrian’s eyes glimmered at the familiar interior. Although the furniture was entirely different, the layout of the rooms remained the same.

Memories of his past life surged within him, recalling the days he had spent in this house.

’The house is truly clean. He said he lives with his older sister. It seems both of them take good care of it,’ he thought.

"Please wait for a moment, let me bring you some tea," Mo Yuheng said, gesturing toward the sofa not far from them.

"Thank you. Excuse us," Aldrian replied.

Aldrian and his wives sat down and observed the interior while waiting. Sylphia also felt a sense of nostalgia, as she had visited this place many times before. Her eyes reflected quiet reminiscence.

Not long after, Mo Yuheng returned with five cups of tea and served them.

"My apologies if it is not to your liking. I am ashamed that, given my situation, this is all I can offer," he said.

Aldrian waved his hand. "Don’t mind it. This is more than enough."

He picked up the cup. Sylphia and the others did the same and took a sip. Although the taste was not as good as the tea they usually drank in the palace, they did not mind it.

After seeing Aldrian put his cup down, Mo Yuheng spoke.

"So, Mister Aldrian, what did you want to talk about?"
