Chapter 319: Amazon Lore I

"Wait, wait, wait! Just one moment, all of you!" Benjamin yelled, raising his voice enough to stop the rapid and chaotic conversation in its tracks, his hands waving frantically in the air between them. "You all... You all know that Sara is your sister?!"

The three girls all blushed deeply, their cheeks turning shades, and they began to shift nervously where they sat on the bed, avoiding Benjamin’s questioning gaze as they fidgeted with their hands and adjusted their clothing, or looked anywhere but directly at his face.

"Y-Yeah, we have known about Sara being our sister for a while now," Martha finally admitted, scratching the back of her head sheepishly, keeping her eyes fixed on a spot somewhere over his left shoulder. "For about some decades, we learned the truth of our family connections." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"No, how did YOU know about it, Benjamin?" Heka tilted her head to one side suspiciously, her eyes narrowing as she studied his face for any sign of deception or hidden knowledge.

[Eep! I better change this topic immediately before I look like someone who normally keeps secrets from them] Benjamin thought frantically, feeling the pressure of their suspicious stares bearing down on him.

"M... More importantly," Benjamin stood up on the bed, rising above them, and firmly declared his position with an unwavering voice. "I will not force anyone to have sex with me against their will, no matter what reasons you give me."

Though as he stood there making this serious and principled declaration, the three girls’ eyes were quickly fixed directly on his crotch area with dreamy, almost trance-like expressions.

Their earlier suspicions became replaced by something entirely different and far more intense.

He continued speaking, choosing to ignore their wandering gazes for the moment in favor of completing his point. "If there are women in this tribe who are not comfortable with having sex, or simply do not want to have sex with me, we should let them be and respect their choices without pressure, you hear me?.

"I have once personally asked Marina to have sex with me, but she declined my offer politely. Yeah, I will admit that it kind of hurt, being rejected like that. But I also think she might hurt someone (me) really badly if she was forced into a situation she did not want to be in. By the way, who exactly IS Marina?"

"..."

The three girls did not respond.

Because their eyes remained eerily locked onto Benjamin’s exposed crotch area with unwavering intensity, their pupils dilated and their breathing slightly shallower than before.

And there was no answer to his question, only the heavy silence of three women completely lost in their own lustful thoughts.

"Uhm... I asked a question just now, did I not...?" Benjamin felt increasingly awkward having his penis stared at like that by three pairs of hungry eyes.

He sighed, being a bit self-consciousness. "I knew I should have dressed up immediately. Look, if you girls want it so badly, you can just say so instead of staring at me like that without speaking."

"NO!! Absolutely not! We will take you when each of us are alone!" Heka yelled out as if she were personally offended at something, her entire body trembling visibly from barely contained lust, with her hands clenched into fists at her sides as she fought to control herself.

"Benjamin, please, just put on your clothes already..." Martha struggled with every fiber of her being to look away from his body.

Her neck muscles strained as she forced her head to turn toward the wall, while Lulu bit her own fingernail anxiously in anguish, her teeth scraping against the keratin as she fought her own urges.

"Ahem. Getting back to your question about Marina and who she is," Heka started, clearly using the explanation as a way to distract herself from her more primal desires, "I should explain some important history to you so that everything makes sense.

"There used to be three ’major’ or ’original’ clans of the Amazons in ancient times, long before our current village and our current way of life existed. These three clans were known as the Irinians, the Pasitheans, and the Zephyrians. Everyone else now--the other groups and offshoots, or smaller tribes--came from these three original bloodlines."

She paused to let that information sink in before continuing;

"It is worth noting that we are Irinians; myself and my sisters. We belong to that clan by blood and heritage, though, not as pure as our mother. Lotus and her daughters are Pasitheans, descended from that separate line, but Lotus is very pure-blooded. And Marina, along with Deva, are Zephyrians, the purest members of the third original clan, as far as anyone knows."

Heka explained further to Benjamin, her voice growing solemn and heavy with the weight of ancient history as she spoke of events that had occurred thousands upon thousands of years ago.

She told him that the goddess Artemis had broken her sacred vows of chastity a very long time ago, and fell deeply in love with a demigod of remarkable courage and kindness.

She soon bore three children for this individual, three offspring born from the union of a goddess and a demigod.

And for a time, they all seemed to live happily ever after, dwelling in a state of joy and peace that seemed as if it would never end.

Except said beloved demigod deeply loved the human race with all of his heart — he cherished mortals, protected them from monsters, and fought for them in great wars.

But that love became a problem when the human race was being specifically targeted by Lucifer during the second great Celestial War, a conflict that threatened to wipe out all of humanity from the face of the world.

Artemis, the goddess, did not really care THAT much for humans in the grand scheme of things.

She was willing to let them perish if it meant keeping her own family safe.

And she did not want to risk her beloved husband and their precious children perishing in a Celestial war that she considered beneath her concern.

So she was actively against him joining the battle and risking his life for the sake of mortals she valued not.

Her husband decided to help the human race anyway, despite his wife’s objections and warnings.

He even chose to sacrifice himself into a dangerous process designed to save mortals from Lucifer’s genocide, with the promise that he would reincarnate himself a few years later and return to his family once the danger had passed.

He did it. He performed the sacrifice. And it sort of worked, at least partially.

Mortals were no longer at risk of being completely wiped out from existence due to his brave intervention and the price he paid on their behalf.

But there was a terrible cost that no one had anticipated... Namadris... never reincarnated.

He never came back. Thousands upon thousands of years passed, centuries and millennia rolling by like grains of sand through an hourglass.

And it became increasingly clear that his soul had long since been salvaged and consumed by the very process he had used to save humanity.

He was no more. His very existence had been extinguished completely. There was nothing left of him to return, no spark of consciousness, or fragment of identity.

There was no hope of resurrection.

Artemis took this loss as a very strong and unforgivable betrayal, a wound that never ever healed, and a grief that turned to bitter rage.

In her overwhelming sorrow and anger, she tried to take her children away from the mortal world and bring them to the heavenly realm forever, where she could keep them safe and never lose anyone she loved ever again.

Her already mature children, who were grown adults by that time with their own desires and ambitions, did not like that idea at all.

They refused to follow their grieving goddess mother into, basically, eternal captivity.

They chose instead to remain in the world their father had died to protect.

Pasithea, the first born and eldest daughter, wanted to explore the world of Elyndor, and experience all the wonders and adventures it had to bring.

Irina, the second born and second daughter, was deeply in love with a mortal king and served as the leader of his elite soldiers, commanding his armies and fighting at his side in countless battles.

The last one, Zephyr, the first son and last born child of Namadris and Artemis, wanted simply to be with his sisters.
