Unrivaled Soldier in the City
Chapter 530: Deserved to be Beaten
Guo Ziming stared blankly at the scene before him, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he gulped. He hadn’t paid much attention when Zhantai Mingyue had punched him away earlier, but now he realized that this ’little lamb’ in his eyes was actually incredibly powerful!
At that moment, Zhantai Mingyue stepped toward Guo Ziming, scaring him so much that he kept backing away.
"What... what do you want?" Guo Ziming couldn’t help but ask as he watched her approach.
"Not much. I just don’t like you, so I want to beat you up!" Zhantai Mingyue huffed.
The next moment, she pushed off with her legs and instantly appeared in front of Guo Ziming, giving him no chance to dodge. Simultaneously, Zhantai Mingyue’s small hand swung again and smacked him hard across the face.
Well, that blow stunned Guo Ziming senseless, sending him flying five or six meters away before he crashed hard onto the ground. He landed in a sprawling heap, his scream sounding more like a pig being slaughtered than a human.
The two Bodyguards were also scared senseless. They had wanted to intervene, but after remembering the impressive strength Zhantai Mingyue had just displayed, they exchanged a glance and quickly rushed to Guo Ziming’s side. As for intervening, that was probably just wishful thinking.
Watching Guo Ziming get beaten again, Zhantai Mingyue couldn’t help but clap her small hands. "Hmph, serves you right!"
With that, she turned around, smiling brightly as she returned to Lin Kuang’s side. She paid no heed to the crowd that had gathered to watch. In her simple world, people like Guo Ziming simply deserved a beating. Whatever status he held wasn’t something her simple mind could even comprehend.
"Let’s go," Lin Kuang said with a smile, looking at the cheerful Zhantai Mingyue.
The longer he spent with this girl, the more he was captivated by her pure, innocent nature. And Lin Kuang had to admit, that feeling was quite nice; he really liked it.
Hearing Lin Kuang’s words, Zhantai Mingyue obediently nodded.
Just as the two were about to leave, a middle-aged man in his forties or fifties arrived with a group of men. Seeing Guo Ziming on the ground, the man’s face flashed with anger.
"Ziming, what happened here?" Guo Dean asked, furrowing his brow as he reached his son’s side.
"Dad! Dad, you’re finally here! Look at how they beat me!" Seeing his savior arrive, Guo Ziming forgot all about his pain. He scrambled to his feet and began wailing loudly. With his face covered in blood and tears, he looked utterly wronged.
Guo Dean’s expression grew even uglier. He had never encountered someone so arrogant in Yanjing, daring to openly assault his son. Guo Dean wasn’t just boasting; in all of Yanjing, there were very few people who would dare to do such a thing. He certainly didn’t believe the young couple walking away had that kind of power!
"Ziming, you just wait," Guo Dean said. He then glanced at the two Bodyguards beside him and ordered coldly, "You two, go and bring them back here!"
Hearing this, the two Bodyguards promptly nodded and quickly went after Lin Kuang and Zhantai Mingyue.
Just as the onlookers were about to disperse, they saw Guo Dean arrive and immediately stopped in their tracks. Some of them recognized him and knew he was a significant figure in Yanjing. Now that he was here, this matter certainly wasn’t going to end so simply. So, the crowd that was about to leave decided to stay and watch the show.
As they were leaving, Lin Kuang and Zhantai Mingyue naturally heard Guo Dean’s command.
"Hmph, these people are so unreasonable! Lin Kuang, I’m going to beat them up!" Zhantai Mingyue said furiously, looking at Lin Kuang. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Hearing this, Lin Kuang smiled and nodded. "Go ahead. Beat them up all you want. It doesn’t matter."
"Okay, you’re the one who said it!" Hearing his words, Zhantai Mingyue immediately broke into a happy smile.
She turned around, her gaze falling on the Bodyguards who were striding toward them.
"You bad guys! You deserve a beating!" she huffed and then quickly walked toward the two men.
These two Bodyguards hadn’t witnessed Zhantai Mingyue in action before, so they were careless.
Dealing with such a beautiful girl should be a piece of cake for the two of us, right?
However, they were being careless, and underestimating Zhantai Mingyue was a recipe for disaster.
Sure enough, when Zhantai Mingyue threw a punch, one of the Bodyguards merely raised his arm slightly, thinking he could block her attack and then capture her. But the moment her small fist made contact with his arm, his expression changed dramatically. In that instant, he felt a terrifying power radiate from her fist. Yes, it was a terrifying power!
BANG!
The Bodyguard was sent flying by her punch. His entire arm was ruined, and he flew more than ten meters before crashing harshly to the ground. He lay there groaning, unable to get up.
At this point, the other Bodyguard was stunned.
How could such a beautiful, frail-looking girl unleash such terrifying power? Is she even human?
While he was still in shock, Zhantai Mingyue struck again, launching another punch at his chest.
Having seen her strength, this Bodyguard didn’t dare to be careless. He quickly shifted his feet and dodged the attack. The next moment, he threw a powerful punch of his own, aiming fiercely at Zhantai Mingyue’s head.
Seeing this, Zhantai Mingyue remained calm, deftly avoiding his fist with a slight tilt of her head. Then, she kicked out, aiming for the Bodyguard’s abdomen. Her kick was incredibly fast, leaving the Bodyguard no chance to dodge. In an instant, her foot slammed hard into his stomach.
BANG!
The man was kicked flying, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth. His face turned ashen, a clear sign that the kick had been devastating.
After knocking down the two Bodyguards, Zhantai Mingyue clapped her hands and gave Guo Dean a fierce glare.
"Hey, you bad man! Why did you send people to attack me? It was clearly your son who started it! Not only are you unreasonable, but you also had your men attack me. You really are a terrible person!" Zhantai Mingyue glared at Guo Dean, her blunt words making his face turn beet-red.
Some of the bystanders couldn’t help but laugh, apparently finding a lot of truth in what she said.
"Girl, stop your nonsense!" Guo Dean retorted, his face flushed with rage. "There are consequences for every action. You beat my son, so you will give me an explanation!"
"Hmph, he deserved it! If you want a beating too, then come over here," Zhantai Mingyue said defiantly.
