Chapter 550: Chapter 550 Temporarily Safe

Instantly, over a dozen ninja stars tore through the night sky, shooting forth like Fairy Scatter Flowers.

A moment later, more than a dozen soldiers from the Island Country were dead, each with a ninja star lodged in their throat. Seeing this, Mu Wan quickly dashed out and began collecting firearms from the fallen soldiers. After all, the enemy’s numbers were too great. Without guns, dealing with them would be far too slow. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

As Mu Wan charged out, some of the Island Country soldiers spotted her and raised their weapons to shoot. However, Lin Kuang’s ninja stars always managed to kill anyone about to open fire, allowing Mu Wan to calmly collect one rifle after another.

By the time Lin Kuang had thrown all of his ninja stars, Mu Wan had returned with over a dozen rifles and several pistols.

"Here." Mu Wan tossed a pile of firearms to Lin Kuang, keeping only one for herself.

Lin Kuang didn’t think twice about it; they had always cooperated this way. Quickly strapping the weapons to his body, he exchanged a look with Mu Wan, and they both charged out.

Mu Wan wielded a submachine gun, its bullets sweeping across the battlefield like a fiery serpent, cutting down the Island Country soldiers one by one. Meanwhile, Lin Kuang was dual-wielding pistols, firing relentlessly. Every bullet he fired found its mark, and an enemy would fall, either from a shot to the head or a pierced heart.

Although there were only two of them, their firepower was so fierce that they momentarily suppressed the entire enemy force.

"Damn it, charge! Attack, you bastards!" Nakagawa Nagakawa roared, his face ashen. So many of my men are being suppressed by just two people? Who the hell would believe this?

Hearing Nakagawa Nagakawa’s roar, Lin Kuang fired a shot in his direction. The bullet slammed into the wall, missing his head. Even so, Nakagawa Nagakawa broke out in a cold sweat. I was lucky my head was behind that wall; otherwise, that last shot would have finished me!

At that moment, the Island Country soldiers surged forward. They didn’t want to, but they had no choice. With Nakagawa Nagakawa standing right behind them, how could they dare disobey his command?

"Quick, send me the Gene Warriors! Hurry up!" Nakagawa Nagakawa dialed a number and yelled into his phone, his eyes brimming with murderous intent.

Meanwhile, Lin Kuang and Mu Wan were on the move, firing as they ran. They couldn’t stay put; they had no reinforcements and could only focus on finding a way to escape.

They were now at the back of the villa, where a long runway had been built. Parked on it was a white private jet.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang’s eyes lit up. A jet! We can use it to get out of here!

"Wan’er, go start the jet! I’ll hold them off here!" Lin Kuang yelled.

In truth, both of them knew how to fly, but Lin Kuang was the stronger fighter. With so many enemies, it was the right choice for him to provide cover.

"Okay, be careful," Mu Wan said without wasting words. Slinging her rifle over her back, she dashed toward the private jet.

Nakagawa Nagakawa had been watching the situation intently. When he saw Mu Wan sprinting toward the private jet, his expression changed drastically. He wasn’t a fool; he immediately realized what she was planning. They’re obviously trying to use the jet to escape!

"Go! All of you, go get her! Hurry, don’t let her get on the jet! Quick!" Nakagawa Nagakawa roared, his voice filled with tension and urgency. If he let Lin Kuang and Mu Wan escape now, he would be utterly disgraced.

Hearing his command, the soldiers dared not hesitate and rushed forward.

At that moment, Lin Kuang held a submachine gun in each hand, wildly spraying bullets and cutting down a continuous stream of Island Country soldiers.

"Come on, you scum! I’ll take down every last one of you!" Lin Kuang roared, fighting with a near-berserk fury. When a gun ran dry, he simply tossed it aside and grabbed another from his belt. He was an incredibly domineering figure, embodying the courage of one man holding a pass against ten thousand, looking impossibly fierce.

The soldiers were practically in tears. Are we even fighting a human? We’re supposed to be military elites, but in front of this guy, we’re being completely dominated. We can’t even fight back! This is unbearable!

Lin Kuang’s expression remained calm as his guns spat fire. Anyone who tried to get past him and reach the jet became another corpse on the ground.

Meanwhile, Mu Wan had shot the jet’s cabin door lock; it was the only way to get it open. Once inside, she expertly navigated to the cockpit and began the startup sequence. One by one, the lights on the control panel flickered to life.

Seeing this, Mu Wan breathed a sigh of relief. The jet is operational. If it weren’t, we would have had to find another way out.

Gradually, the jet began to move, its engines letting out a massive roar. Hearing the sound, Lin Kuang knew without looking that Mu Wan had started the jet, and a smile broke across his face.

"Finally got it sorted," he muttered. "Time to go, you little brats. I’m done playing with you."

With that, Lin Kuang unleashed one last furious barrage to suppress the enemy, then turned and sprinted toward the moving jet.

"Baka! Baka! Chase them! Go, chase them!" Nakagawa Nagakawa roared, so furious he felt like his lungs would explode.

At his command, the Island Country soldiers scrambled out, frantically chasing the jet on foot. But how could they possibly catch up to a jet? They weren’t Lin Kuang. Comparing their speed to his was like comparing a firefly to the moon.

Seeing this, Nakagawa Nagakawa angrily made another call, this time to the Island Country’s air defense division. He gave them the model of the jet Lin Kuang and Mu Wan were on.

"I refuse to believe I can’t kill you! Scramble the fighter jets! Bomb them to death!" Nakagawa Nagakawa snarled, his expression vicious.

By this point, Lin Kuang was far out of earshot. Reaching the jet, he planted his feet, gathered his strength, and sprang four or five meters into the air. Gripping the edge of the open cabin door, he vaulted inside.

He glanced back at the pursuing soldiers and scoffed, "Don’t worry, we’ll have another chance to meet."

After managing to secure the damaged cabin door, he made his way to the cockpit.

"Wan’er, I’m back," Lin Kuang said with a smile.

"Mm, let’s go. Looks like we’re in for an aerial battle next. This is something new," Mu Wan smiled, looking at Lin Kuang standing beside her.

"You know," Lin Kuang said with a grin, showing no trace of concern, "I’ve never actually fought an air battle in a private jet before. Looks like we’re in for some real danger."
