Ignis was confused and turned to see Adele standing with a silver-haired young man. The lady leaned her head on his shoulder. Ignis wanted to explode when he suddenly froze. He stood up, and Valerian bowed his head, "I have seen First Brother."

Ignis walked up to the guy, embraced him, and Meridiem stomped her foot on the ground, "Papa taking handsome sir too, you baddie."

Valerian could not hold it anymore and laughed loudly. This little girl was just too funny. Adele held her forehead, and Valerian asked, "Sister-in-law, how did she grow up like this?"

Ignis sighed and said, "I seemed to have pampered her too much."

He turned to look at the little girl and said, "Meri, this is not your handsome sir. This is my younger brother and your uncle."

The little princess tilted her head and said, "Handsome Sir, Uncle. Hmph, cheating, Meri."

Adele glared at the girl and said, "Meri, you are being naughty again."

Valerian thought the girl would be coaxed now, but instead, she raised her chin and said, "You want to bully Meri? Meri tells Grandma."

Adele sighed and slumped her shoulders as she said, "I give up. Ignis Verus, you should sleep on the doormat if I found you spoiling her."

That said, Adele turned her face away. She was not keen on looking at Ignis. The prince was stuck between wife and daughter. Valerian chuckled and gazed at Ashlyn, who said, "This is a daily occurrence."

Meridiem also turned faces from her mother, and Valerian sighed. He decided to teach this girl a lesson and said, "Oh well, to think Princess Meridiem will be like this. Your Excellency Ashlyn, I cannot watch this; I shall leave."

While talking to Ashlyn, he winked at her and sneakily made a few signs, ’Let us correct her.’

Ashlyn subtly nodded and played along, "I am really ashamed, Your Highness Valerian. The princess is not how you expected her to be."

Meridiem was a child, and she could not help but ask, "Aunt, what are you saying?"

Ashlyn sighed and shook her head while saying, "Prince Valerian does not like you."

Meridiem opened her eyes wide, and she was pampered to the point where he might laugh it off, even if she set fire to Libra’s beard—hearing that someone did not like her. This was a surprise. She asked, "Why?"

Ashlyn replied with a pitiful gaze, "Prince Valerian likes soft-spoken women."

Meridiem shook her head and said, "Soft-spoken women are weak."

Valerian asked, "Do you think your grandma is weak?"

The question stumped Meridiem. She did not know how to answer because Fragrantia was soft-spoken. However, she knew that she was really strong. She complained, "You are cheating."

Valerian glanced at her and said, "Only the weak give excuses and shout. You are the Princess of Lumen. People should not fear you when you walk out but respect and love you. Your mother is also a princess, and you know how people look at her with affection and respect? They bless her for her generosity and kindness. A handsome sir would probably have loved you if only you were like her."

Meridiem was shaken. She had been receiving tuition and knew what Valerian was talking about. This was something all her teachers pointed out. However, they had always been polite to her. Valerian, on the other hand, was very rude.

She had tears in her eyes, and Ignis was shaken. He could not watch his daughter cry. He wanted to move, but he froze in his steps. His entire body was immobilized. He looked at Valerian from the corner of his eyes. Ignis was angry.

Valerian did not care. He matched his gaze and said, "It is because of you treating her like a fragile thing she has become like this. Meridiem is strong, and she can handle herself."

Then he walked over to the girl and crouched down. He patted her head and said gently, "You have tears in your eyes, but that is because you cannot prove me wrong."

The girl raised her teary eyes, and Valerian took out a dagger and a magic wand. These things were given to him as gifts on his birthday. He said, "These two are yours from now on. When you grow up, you can use any of them."

Meridiem asked, "These are the tools for people with gifts. What if I do not have any gifts?"

The young man smiled and said, "There is no such thing as a gifted or a none gifted. If you don’t receive the blessing from the moons, you will have a chance to learn what they cannot. You will know when you grow up. For now, take these gifts from your uncle. This is the first time I met my niece."

Meridiem took the gifts and said, "Thank you."

Ignis and the two ladies were surprised because this was the first time the girl had said thank you. Valerian said, "Would you like to play with me?"

Meridiem nodded, and Valerian stretched his hand for her to hold. He said, "You can chill now; I will take her along."

...

After Valerian left the room, the spell he cast vanished, and Ignis wanted to chase after him, but Adele stopped him and said, "You do not have to interrupt. Val will handle her nicely."

Ignis snorted and said, "He made her cry."

The young lady shook her head and said, "She cried because she was defeated. It was not his fault. Aunt Flos was correct. Too much love and luxury beget weakness."

Ashlyn nodded and said, "As if he has not faced enough. That Tyrant sent him to a place where he faced even more difficulties."

...

Valerian carried the girl to her room, and he combed her hair while talking to her. Meridiem also became frank with him. She told him that the people treated her with love and gifted her a lot, and she did not like it.

The young man heard all her complaints and gave her solutions too. Meridiem nodded, and Valerian said, "Look into the mirror. You are so pretty."

Meridiem was surprised, and then the two began to play with dolls and held a tea party.

...

Ten days passed in a blink, and it was time to visit Titan Peak. The meeting was upon them, and the people worldwide had moved to attend it. The magical and humans have never gathered together in such a big number.

As the news spread among the masses, many of them mobilized to gather the news of what caused such a big event.

...

Valerian and Fortuna stood at the Titan peak, watching the human and magical dignitaries mingling. The queen of dragons asked, "What do you think the Pointiaf has to say?"

Valerian sighed and looked at the sky as he said, "Whatever it is, I do not get a good vibe. You know. Such a big mobilization, even when we had to face the Tyrant, this was not the case."

Fortuna nodded and said, "True, I also have the same feeling, but Grandpa told me to stay calm since we do not know what it is."

Valerian nodded, and a portal opened in the void. Two tiny figures appeared before everyone: Boo-too and the Pointiaf. The young man thought, ’She came herself, definitely bad news.’

Fortuna replied, ’I agree. When will this torture end?’

Boo-too said, "Greetings, everyone. Thank you for coming over for the gathering. I am Boo-too, and this is Her Excellency, The Pointiaf of the bloomkin."

The people were shocked but saw Valerian and Fortuna bowing to the rose in the void. They all followed to bow and greet quickly. The Pointiaf said, "You all must have been thinking, why did I call you to meet?"

The people nodded, and Pointiaf continued, "The world is about to change. This change will not be good."

A wave of shock traveled through the people, and they exchanged glances, and Valerian asked, "Your Excellency, what is this change?"

The Pointiaf said, "There is more to the world than you all know. In ancient times, Primus lived in the Kingdom of Gods. One time he came out of the Kingdom to travel and found it boring as he traveled alone. So he created Vita.

When Vita grew up and came out to travel, she created this world. However, just like the Kingdom of gods, there is a kingdom of demons. These demons found the world and decided to settle here. However, they could not sustain the positivity. To make things more sustainable, they corrupted the people and spread negativity.

Vita sensed it, and she banished them from her territory. However, the damage has been done. Before leaving the world, the Demons proclaimed they would return one day. Tyrant Immortuous was the person they sought to use as a pawn and return. However, that plan was foiled.

However, when the Tyrant sent Valerian to the Avarium, he opened a gateway between the worlds. It will take time, but the demons will evade us, and we will have to fight with them, together."
