Villain Extra: Rogue Reader
Chapter 2: Villain Extra System
"AHHHHHHHH!" Ray cried aloud in horror.
Shortly after being hurled through the portal, Ray found himself falling straight down to the ground. He shut his eyes tightly when the distance was close to impact.
THUD!
The landing was hard and painful. However, don’t be mistaken that he landed in the wilderness. In fact, he was actually in a room as soon as the landing hit.
Clearly, he was transported immediately to a room by that goddess.
"Curse you, Chasing Star!" He gritted his teeth and struggled to get up. He had read so many novels, and usually, the free fall shouldn’t have any damage. Yet he felt like his bones were cracked open from the fall, which was most likely done on purpose by the goddess.
You’re telling him that a goddess couldn’t prevent fall damage?
What a good joke that was!
"Ugh, of course, the reader suffered in the hands of the author. Screw them and their slow updates or this nonsensical trash ending!" Ray cursed aloud.
He felt even less remorse for cursing the goddess and turning from a fan to an anti-fan.
How dare she treat him in such a manner!
This was all her fault from the beginning!
As a loyal fan, he stuck with the most repetitive plotline and remained supportive. Until she drew his final straw: introducing the end of the novel with a BL steamy scene.
"Fuck, I’m about to barf again!" Instantly, Ray stood up and made a few vomiting motions. Amidst his barfing moment, he heard a mechanical feminine voice.

"Raymond Carrion?" Ray clicked his tongue. The name Raymond was definitely retrieved from his name, whereas the Carrion Noble Family was a house within the novel, Lord of Magic.
If Ray recalled properly, the Carrion Family was a Marquis rank, who ended up being incriminated by the protagonist, William, in the early stages for treason.
’This is unbelievable!’ While he was pondering, information regarding his current status was extended.
Apparently, he was an orphan who had recently been adopted by the Family Head, Robert Von Carrion.
Above him were two eldest brothers and three eldest sisters.
He was adopted because Robert Carrion wanted someone new to incite his children to start working hard, lest they might lose their power.
’Jesus Christ... Only this damn Chasing Star can create such a confusing and lots of plot hole setting.’ Ray scratched his head in exasperation. No matter how one tried to explain his circumstances, it made no sense.
Why the fuck would a Marquis adopt an orphan into the family?
But then again, Ray recalled his current title was a Villain Extra. In other words, this Chasing Star wanted him to become cannon fodder or face slapping materials for others.
"Hmph, you want me to play by the book? Dream on!" He sneered coldly.
There were many extra characters who were hypocritical.
They claimed to not want to be involved in the novel, but were constantly involved and manipulating things behind the scenes with the lame excuse of progressing the storyline.
Yet in the so-called excuse, they also derailed the novel’s trajectory completely, then cried foul and wondered why the novel was going awry.
He really wanted to spit at those Extra protagonists. "Why be an extra and not the protagonist? Actually, I’ll gladly have Extra life while enjoying the protagonist thing."
Since Chasing Star forcefully implanted his role as a Villain Extra and gave him free rein, Ray was determined to make this novel world his domain.
"Isn’t it just stripping bare with a boxer on? How hard is that?" In the blink of an eye, Ray embraced his role and removed most of his clothes.
It was totally not because the loss of manhood frightened him deeply.
Right after tossing his clothes aside, the door in his room suddenly opened, with a maid coming in with some clothes in her arms.
"Young Master Raymond, I have brought you some uniform—" Before the maid could continue, their eyes widened in complete disbelief as they noticed Ray’s current appearance.
"Don’t scream like some scaredy cat!" Ray rolled his eyes and hissed.
"I-I wasn’t going to..." The maid bowed her head and apologized. She went on her knees and pleaded, "Please don’t punish me for intruding."
Looking at her behavior, Ray narrowed his eyes suspiciously. That was too much of an exaggeration and overreaction.
His reader’s instinct was kicking in!
Sure enough, an information prompt regarding the maid soon popped up.

By the time Ray finished reading the character prompt for his personal maid, he was completely flabbergasted.
’Wow, a sadistic person with a tragic past. What a great combination to serve me, the Villain Extra as maid.’ Ray nearly wanted to clap his hands and praise Chasing Star for being so thorough... at being TRASH!
"Belva, right. If you offended a high noble who wanted your beauty and body. How in the hell did they let you escape and become auctioned off?" Ray turned to her and questioned in disbelief.
If he were that high noble, then he would have long banged the crap out of her and kept her as his personal slave.
Why would he let her become an item for auction?
Make it make sense, Chasing Star!
There was a limit to how much he could endure her crappy writing skills!
’My god, am I really a villain? Chasing Star is more like the villain to create such a nonsensical plotline!’
