Chapter 3: First Villainous Act

A few seconds had gone by since Ray raised his question.

Belva was stunned on the spot to have her history exposed.

’The Lord definitely didn’t reveal my past to him.’ She was certain about this point. This was technically their first meeting, and to ensure she could stay undercover, she acted like an innocent maid.

While Belva was confused by Ray’s knowledge, the latter approached her with a vile grin.

He extended his hand and touched her chin, lifting her head up to meet his gaze.

"Tell me, Belva. You were sent here by my adopted father to spy on me, right?" Ray asked in amusement.

"My adopted father sure dotes on me dearly. He wants me to become a catalyst to force his children to become united, and sent someone with such a sadistic nature to be my personal maid. He sure embodies the definition of a doting father!"

Belva’s face turned pale when each word spouted by Ray was on the mark consistently.

As her eyes revealed fear, she was unsure what was going to be her fate.

’Hey, my lovely Villain Extra System! Can I see if she’s under some sort of magic contract?’ Ray asked silently.

In Lord of Magic, the magic contract was the most common aspect in controlling one’s person to act in accordance with the clauses.

Even the most notorious slave contract branched out from the magic contract.

[Certain information can be purchased through the Villain Store. Granted that the host has made an unconventional plot line, the Villain Store is temporarily opened!]

’SWEET!’

Ray was satisfied with the fact that he could communicate with the system for some information and guidance. Though he was already certain it could do so when the system prompt had quite a lot of parentheses commentary.

Without hesitation, he quickly opened the Villain Store and checked on the available items.

[Villain Store]

Total Villain Points: 0

Item 1: Belva’s Information, Cost 10 Villain Points

Item 2: Contract Changer, Cost 100 Villain Points

Only two items were available at the moment, which made Ray believe this system was indeed updated in real time. Moreover, the simplicity of the Villain Store should only be temporary.

He reckoned that it would have a more sophisticated layout once he gained access to more unique items or reached the unknown prerequisites.

Nevertheless, Ray rubbed his chin softly at the two items in the store.

’The Belva’s information from item 1 was self-explanatory. So I don’t need to know about this.’ He thought and clicked on Contract Changer to see what it does.

Contract Changer: Enable the Villain Extra Ray to forcefully change the content of a contract from someone. (Do use it with caution, and no prohibited changes could be made, such as forcefully making someone be in love with you or making them have sexual intercourse with you, etc.)

"..."

Speechless, Ray wondered if the System had been influenced by a certain novel that had the protagonist forcefully change an NPC’s data to make the NPC fall madly in love with them.

’I won’t even go that low if I get to do it.’ Ray clicked his tongue and snorted internally.

But don’t be fooled by this fake righteous mind!

’If it were up to me, I would make them completely loyal to me without being capable of ever betraying me whatsoever. By then, I can ravage them however I want anyway. What’s the point of making them fall in love with you when their heart could change due to unexpected factors? Falling in love is such a cheap thing!’

He was a villain, alright!

He had suffered the harsh reality of being a good guy. He knew that doing good deeds only resulted in one fate.

And that was to be bullied to death by actual villains!

Just look at the main protagonist in Lord of Magic.

The goddamn "hero" protagonist loved to do good deeds and abided by the laws, which resulted in so many great characters dying except for the love interest.

"Ah, what was I thinking?" Ray hurriedly spat out his saliva, which unintentionally landed on Belva’s face.

Those women weren’t love interests but fucking bait to swindle a horny man like him into continuously paying to read.

While he got caught in his own thoughts, Belva’s body twitched uncontrollably. Her hand slowly lifted to touch her cheek that had been smeared by Ray’s saliva.

’T-This bastard actually dares to spit on my face??!’ Aggrieved, she hurriedly retrieved a handkerchief and was about to wipe off the saliva.

Unfortunately, her handkerchief was snatched away by Ray, who used it to blow his nose.

’Phew, I can’t believe I still allowed myself to think about that trash protagonist.’ He finished blowing his nose and threw the handkerchief to the ground.

Ding!

[Congrats on your villainous act toward Belva! Granting 5 Villain Points!]

’Hmm, what the heck?’ Startled by the system prompt, Ray snapped out of his daze and glanced at the situation.

He was just thinking in his own world, so how did it become a villainous act?

However, when he saw Belva appear in an aggrieved look, followed by her cheek having some wet liquid, he quickly recalled what had happened.

’Oho, so this also counts as a villainous act?’ Amused, he didn’t expect to have made such a discovery.

To think that just by accidentally spitting on her face granted him 5 villain points, he wondered what other action he could do.

He only needed 5 more to purchase her information anyway.

"As your Master, you dare to glare at me?" Ray sneered coldly and grasped Belva’s chin tightly.

"I-I don’t dare..." Startled, Belva panicked and apologized.

"You don’t dare, huh?"

"I am your personal maid, Master. I couldn’t possibly hold any grudge toward you."

"Is that so?" Ray chuckled and took a seat. He then spread his legs wide and pointed at his lower part. "I just woke up, and this little buddy has been quite active. Why don’t you come here and treat my little buddy well?"

Stunned, Belva’s eyes widened in complete astonishment.

She glanced at his lower body, which had something bulging, almost as if it wanted to tear away the fabric of his pants.

’This villain actually wants me to take care of that disturbing thing?’ Belva suppressed her internal rage and the urge to kill Ray on the spot.

Ding!

[Congrats on your villainous act in subjecting Belva to humiliation! Granting 5 Villain Points!]
