Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 36: Second Treasure Chest Acquired
Damian was now returning to his residence, and while walking, he grinned as he looked at the system screen appearing in front of him.

The moment he saw the screen, his eyes widened because he had never expected this kind of reward. "Damn... itās a critical multiplier?"
He almost wanted to laugh out loud right there because he never thought Vulkara could give him a critical multiplier.
He glanced back at Vulkara, who was walking behind him with a suspicious and irritated expression.
Her personality was quite troublesome. She was proud, stubborn, and clearly not the obedient type, but still, her multiplier said otherwise.
He just couldnāt help but think that she was a little funny, and she also seemed like a good target to bully for a while. After all, even though she said rude things, her heart seemed to say otherwise.
Meanwhile, Vulkara noticed his strange grin and frowned. "Why the hell are you smiling like that?"
Damian immediately coughed and waved his hand. "Nothing. I just remembered something good."
Vulkara narrowed her eyes. "You look like a thief who just found a mountain of gold."
Damianās mouth twitched slightly because technically, she wasnāt wrong. After all, he had found a treasure chest.
He turned back to Vulkara and grinned. "You could say it like that, but you donāt need to know. Youāre not my person yet, are you?"
Vulkara snorted. "Damn it, just keep walking then. I donāt care about any of that."
Damian just chuckled a bit as he continued walking because his second treasure chest was quite funny.
---
After leaving the Black Mist Forest, Damian and Vulkara finally arrived at a safer road leading back toward the city.
Damian glanced back at Vulkara and saw that she had mostly healed, but she was still a bit injured. Even so, she refused to show any weakness.
Damian couldnāt help but grin slightly. Vulkara really was stubborn as hell, so he casually asked, "So, Vulkara, what are you going to do now?"
Vulkara frowned immediately. "What I do has nothing to do with you, right?"
Damian laughed lightly. "Nothing, nothing. I just want to know. I saved you, after all."
Vulkara clicked her tongue. "Tch. I guess Iāll go into hiding."
Damian raised an eyebrow. "Is that so?"
Vulkara crossed her arms. "What else can I do? Go back to the Great Flame Sect and let them kill me properly this time?"
Her red eyes darkened slightly. "Those bastards already decided I was guilty. Whether I explain or not, no one will believe me."
Damian nodded slowly. "True. With your current situation, going back is basically asking to die."
Vulkara snorted. "Thanks for saying it so nicely."
Damian ignored her sarcasm and continued walking slowly. "Then why donāt you stay with me?"
Vulkara froze for a moment and slowly turned her head toward him, her eyes narrowing. "What the hell do you mean by that?"
Damian smiled casually. "Stay with me as my disciple."
Vulkaraās eyebrow twitched. "The hell? Didnāt you say earlier that you werenāt aiming for my body? But now what? Are you taking back your words?"
Damian shrugged. "I said disciple, not bed warmer."
Vulkaraās face darkened. "You bastard..."
Damian waved his hand lazily. "Relax. I already told you, I donāt have that kind of intention toward your body."
Then he looked at her from top to bottom and added, "Besides, youāre really not my type."
Vulkaraās fists instantly clenched. "Say that again and Iāll bite you."
Damian laughed. "See? This is exactly why youāre funny."
Vulkaraās mouth twitched hard. She really couldnāt tell if this man was saving her or slowly trying to piss her to death.
Damian then became a little more serious. "Anyway, think about it properly. You donāt have anything to do or anywhere to go, right?"
Vulkaraās expression stiffened slightly because what he said was unfortunately true.
Damian continued, "So tell me, is it better for you to hide like a mouse for the rest of your life, or come with me and become stronger?"
Vulkara frowned. "You really dare take someone like me as your disciple?"
Damian looked at her strangely. "Why wouldnāt I dare?"
Vulkaraās eyes became colder. "Iām a troublemaker."
Damian laughed. "Youāre not a dragon. Youāre just a rat with red hair."
Vulkara almost exploded. "You damn bastard!"
Damian grinned. "What? Am I wrong?"
Vulkara clenched her teeth and glared at him for several seconds.
For some reason, the more she looked at his shameless face, the angrier she became.
But at the same time, she couldnāt deny that, because she clearly didnāt know what to do.
She hated the idea of lowering her head, hiding in some dirty corner, and living like a stray dog.
She wanted to become stronger and one day return, making everyone who looked down on her regret it.
And this bastard in front of her, although he was really annoying, was strong and didnāt treat her badly.
Following him might be dangerous, but it was still far better than crawling away alone.
In the end, Vulkara clicked her tongue and looked away while speaking in a low and rough voice. "Fine."
Damianās smile widened. "Fine what?"
Vulkara glared at him. "Donāt act stupid. Iāll become your disciple."
Damian laughed loudly. "Good. Then from now on, youāre mine."
Vulkaraās face twitched. "Can you say that in a less disgusting way?"
Damian ignored her and continued with a satisfied grin. "Come on, then. Iāll bring you back and introduce you to your senior sister."
Vulkara frowned. "Senior sister?"
Damian nodded. "Yeah. My first disciple."
Vulkaraās expression became slightly strange. "You already have another female disciple?"
Damian smiled. "Of course."
Vulkara narrowed her eyes. "And you really arenāt aiming for your disciplesā bodies?"
Damian looked at her with a deadpan expression. "Do you want me to throw you back into the forest?"
Vulkara snorted and turned her head away. "Tch. Whatever."
Even though she grumbled, she still followed Damian irritably while he walked ahead with a bright grin, because he had finally found his second treasure chest.
